"I bit the fellow in the back," Zhang was quoted as saying in the newspaper. "Its skin was quite thick."

Other tourists yelled for a zookeeper, who got the panda under control by spraying it with water, reports said. Zhang was hospitalized.

Loool "sudden urge to touch the panda". He's lucky they didn't throw him in jail for harming an endangered species after trying to beat it up. To imagine some dude fighting with a tame and slow moving panda is funny as heck.

Yeah, I lolled hard at this too when I saw it. Pandas, like any other bear, are no joke. Sure, they eat bamboo for the most part, but they're still classified carnivores I think. They'll fucking eat you if need be.

The Beijing Zoo already released a statement saying they will not seek charges against the guy since "he already has received quite a shock".

Mmmmmm... I love how this guy tries to bite the panda back. I can just imagine what he said in chinese when he got bit. Really such a damn shame they don't have any footage if this fight, Lol@render's link. But indeed a great piece of news.
