There's nowhere I can't reach.

The stage builder mode, looks so interesting since we may add different parts from default stages. And flying inclined platforms... Peach Castle ( SSB 64)

And Sonic is so fast, if I had trouble playing as Captain Falcon (disaster master FTW!)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm probably gonna play with all the new characters once I get the game. Fuck playing with who I'm good with, I wanna see what these people are bringing to the table.

The "leaked" lists are pretty funny. Does anyone actually believe them? There are SO MANY that one is bound to be close to 100 percent correct, and then people are gonna assume it was a leak from an insider instead of some lucky bloody guesses.

And we're using a returning character from Melee as a sign that this 42 character list is correct? Wait until some of the other, weirder choices on that list show up before we go "oh my god you're so right". Please? For the sake of all our sanities.

I wouldn't mind one of them as a playable character, probably Tails more than Knuckles. Then the other one could be an assist trophy or both of them could be assist trophies. Snake is the only playable character from his series while the Ninja is an assist trophy, so I think having Sonic and maybe Tails as playable characters would be enough. Any other Sonic characters would be assist trophies, especially Shadow since he would likely be a clone of Sonic like Roy was to Marth in Melee.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Sonic & Tails would make a nice combination similar to the Ice Climbers.

I have wanted Knuckles, but that might have been too much to ask for. I also wonder what type of alternate costumes Sonic might have.

- Final Smash of Pikmin & Olimar

<End of Day>

Captain Olimar always makes sure to return to his spaceship before nightfall when he’s out exploring new planets. Why is that?

That’s because nighttime on these planets is absolutely teeming with scaaary wild beasts! To avoid an encounter with those creatures, Olimar takes to the safety of space during the night.

So how could we represent this idea in Brawl...?



First things first. Get that Smash Ball!



There’s Olimar’s ship!



Blast off! The ship soars higher and higher into the stratosphere.



Stars fill the sky above.



Wild beasts everywhere! Aaaah!

Characters left behind on the ground take lots and lots of damage.

But dishing out damage alone won’t score you points. The more people in the brawl, the more damage you can expect this attack to do, but beware—another opponent may steal the KO you’ve worked so hard to set up.

In a one-on-one match, this Final Smash won’t deal as much damage, but hey, there’s no worry that someone else will steal your KO, either.

I guess you could call this balancing the gameplay, huh?



The ship comes crashing back to the battlefield
with a huge explosion! Maybe, if you’re lucky,
you’ll catch someone in the blast?

I wonder if the stage gets totally out of view when the "beasts" come to kill everyone at night, as it looks in the pics. And if so, it would be hard to take people's kills if you were:

A) Totally out of sight.
and
B) Getting owned by monsters.

Part of today's update confused me in that it'll deal lots of damage (proportional to the number of brawlers), but it also sounds like it might not RO the opponent, rather just add a lot of percent to their damage meter. I'm also wondering if some simple air suspension leads to being able to dodge the monsters altogether. The crashing part sounds like the warp star. I guess it all comes with the unique new style of Olimar.

What I'm thinking is that it just deals tons and tons of damage, but then if you manage to pop one of the characters (who takes a massive amount of damage) with a RO, then when Olimar crashes back, you're SOL

I must say Olimar's final smash is awesome! It's hilarious how he climbs aboard the space ship then blast off!! Following with the monsters eating the players. lol.

Today's update was Luigi. Stunned.

I'm waiting for someone to make a Za Warudo video or photo montage. They could use Luigi's Final Smash, Sheik's Knife Throw, Fox/Wolf/Falco's Final Smash and someone's taunt (I was thinking Ganondorf's but I don't know if it's changed).
