Yeah, that goal was awesome; Wojo just showed me the replay on Youtube 'cause I hadn't seen any highlights yet tonight. Some teams suck for a while and get decent players, but you guys were lucky enough to suck right when some of the best talent the league's seen in decades came of age. You're gonna be scary good in a season or two.

Also: lololol

Jam it back in, in the dark.

First I get the thread name changed, now I'm in the hockey news. Where will I strike next?? I must have that picture Capo.

Wow, I don't know what Murray said to those boys after our game against Colorado but keep it coming. I've been busy all evening with our production but I heard that we played amazingly, we even chased Raycroft. Not bad, now I just hope we can keep it up for more then 2 games.

I heard that Malkin's goal was amazing, I can't believe I missed it!! I'll have to keep a close eye on the highlights.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Baaah~

Capo linked it to me in IRC earlier, you can view it here. It was a beautiful stretch pass right through the middle, and Malkin mad an awesome move to get in close.

Edit: No, Wojo linked me in IRC! I think I just read Capo's post up there and his name got stuck in my head.

Brent, I linked it in IRC. Not Capo.

Anyway I went to the Pens and Devils game last night. The crowd was outstanding and really into it. Probably the best was the "GO HOME JERSEY" chants. I really enjoyed myself as the last time I went to a Penguin game, Hedberg was in net.

Malkin's goal was absolutely outstanding to see live. After that goal happened the place erupted. Great game to see in person thats for sure.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Pretty good, but I don't know I have seen the sabres score about 20 goals of their 46 of that caliber already.

Well, you did say that the Sabres have scored 20 goals of their goals at at least the caliber of Malkin's goal. Which is impossible.

Not just impossible, it's stupid. I've been watching the Sabres. They're fucking awesome. But to say 50% of their goals have been of the calibre or Malkin's is ridiculous. Next he'll tell us a solid 20% have been as good as Ovechkin scoring from his back. Thus, Y HALO THAR FANBOY.

http://www2.sportsnet.ca/blogs/hocke..._injures_auld/

Auld gets injured over spilt water from Belfour's bottle of water. To think that Belfour would actually try to WIN the starting spot....geez.

Rumour has it that Belfour got into a scuffle with Auld and showed him whos boss. :eyebrow:

Anyways, I see that we have an interestingly high amount of Penguin fans here. You guys are lucky. To have a young core of Fleury, Crosby, Malkin, and Staal, is just...Wow.

Myself, I'm a huge Canucks fan. Don't expect this thread to go inactive now that I'm here.

Plus, word on the street (also the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) is that we'll have a new arena underway sometime in 2007.

Yep, in ONTARIO.

OWNED SO BAD.

Also, Boston finally won another game. At this rate we'll win at least 7 by the end of the season. Man, I'm sure glad we got Chara!

For those not in the know, though, the Hill District is the worst area in all of Pittsburgh.

Wouldn't that be something? Seriously, how unfair would that be? All these bored people sittin' in Halifax. SMACK. Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Fleury, and crew fall out of the sky.

Whereas us jealous Canuck fans only have Luongo, Sedin, Sedin, and Bourdon.

That is excellent news. Penguins are going no where. Now all these Canadian circle jerkers can go away.
