The only time HBK turned heel was that very short heel turn against Hogan, and that was necessary because one of them was going to be the heel, and Hogan had complete control over his character. HBK supposedly is uncomfortable being a heel now. Does that mean he can't be a heel? No. But it seems unlikely.

HHH turning heel is a possibility. Honestly, other than Orton, who else can HHH feud with (save for the returning Jericho)?

However, as everyone has said, that is too predictable. I am expecting DX to reform, but then get beat down at the end of the night next week(hence Vince's smile). Perhaps a returning Bobbly Lashley will help them out.

I agree, they better not do a double turn. It would be idiotic on so many levels to do it now. And as we have all said, it's darn predictable.

What I would think would be cool is something I saw on one of the news sites that basically made up their own Raw, Nitro, and ECW shows. Basically, Bret was still wrestling at this time and faced Benoit (with Bret being WWE champ and Benoit WCW or something like that). Bret was the face, Benoit was the heel. Benoit put Bret into the Sharpshooter, and Vince turned around tohave them ring the bell. However, just at that point, Bret reversed it so Benoit was the one in the sharpshooter. Hence, the ref called Bret as the winner. Now, exchange Bret for HBK, and Orton for Benoit, and there you go.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Lol, Shawn being heel got him into all kinds of shit that nearly ended his career.

Break the code..

Survivor Series is the 18th. The 19th is Monday. If I'm was more sure, I'd bet some money. But I think he's not showing up for the PPV, but Raw instead.

I remember one of the USA execs wanting to save Jerichos return for raw. and we know that would increase ratings a shitload.

And I think HBK is one of those people who can't go heel anymore. He's just too over with the crowd.

How ya doing, buddy?

I always find Michaels and HHH to be at their best and most interesting playing the heels. They're good wrestlers that can put on a show, but they're also cocky assholes you want to root against. They're kind of boring to root for, since they rarely lose or come out on the low end of an exchange. Kind of like Cena or Lashley, but in their case, turning heel might give their characters some much-needed personality. With Michaels/HHH, it feels natural. Maybe just because I grew up with Michaels being a great heel and he and HHH were probably more over as the original heel (sort of) DX than at any other point in their careers, their face personas don't feel right.

Jericho though...I always found him significantly more exciting as a face or just a tweener. I remember he had one gimmick as a heel in WCW that basically was really stupid and just hurt his momentum (SOOO long ago...I think it was a crybaby gimmick). Although I think just about everyone was rooting for him over John Cena right before he left, when he was a heel.

Jericho as a plain face in WCW was fairly boring.

A heelish Jericho that is cheered as a face is the best.

people are saying, "Well, Orton and Umaga are the only top heels". Maybe it's about time to let Kennedy go towards the top tier. Him beating Hardy, and then feuding with Jericho would help both men. Or...have Lashley come back...as a heel after a short program with Kennedy.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Kennedy would work as a top heel real well. He could even be bigger than Trips was. Hell, Santino could be a huge heel too like that. It's hard to tell how they're going to use Jericho. They could bring him back as face (which usually always happens no matter how the person left to begin with) or have him comeback as super-heel. I don't really care as I'd pretty much love to see a Triple H title run with him being the face for once, instead of just being face the night he'd win the title and go mega heel afterwards. :|

Heels for RAW (which would make good heels) -- Umaga, Kennedy, Orton, Cena (with battle rap gimmick)

Faces for RAW - DX, Lashley, Jericho (calling everyone ass-monkeys or whatever he called them)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

clowns Slash, clowns

Actually, Cena should return as a heel. They COULD do something like a double turn at Survivor Series, with Orton actually, ya know, staying a face, and somehow staying over, and win the title from Trips at Mania. Then, after feuding with Trips, in comes a heel Cena, pissed that the fans sided with Orton instead of him.

I think Cena would rather want to stay face. We all know as well him that the only reason why he got booed so much was because 1)He was portrayed as unbeatable(and was..) 2)His gimmick blows 3)People wanted a new champion. That title just brought him more and more hate every day he held it. I imagine he doesn't mind NOT being champion.

In a lot of ways it is good he doesn't and won't hold the title for a year. He gets a mental break along with a physical one. Plus everyone in TV land gets a break as well.

Sorry to say this, but I hope Cena doesn't hold the title again for more than a year. I hope his break is good and his rehab goes well, but he shouldn't get that title for a long time. If you're gonna do it, at least send him back to Smackdown to hold the title.

Speaking of Smackdown, I'm currently watching it right now for the first time in...well a long time. First guy I see is someone named Chuck Palumbo and I'm thinking, who the hell is this guy? I get a closer look at his face and thought, "THAT guy?! Chuck from Billy and Chuck? He's STILL around?" Sorry, I didn't think someone like him would still be around.

Also, it's cool seeing the Undertaker. However, this show is being broadcasted on the CW for me. Now I have never watched anything on this channel, and I've gotta say I'm not impressed. I feel like I'm watching a low quality video full screen on my computer when you see all the bright flashing lights. The pixelation is just unbelievable.

Well all, I'm glad we got to see the Bulldog's kid...as he has been suspended (along with Masters).

For Masters...well, I thought he was hurt anyway. Surprised he also is being suspended.

Bulldog's kid though, ouch. He had just started and now he's out.

Well, it's not as if Davey Boy led a clean and juice-free existence. This comes as no surprise to me, although it's a shame.

Masters, I can't say I was surprised either, but for different reasons entirely and I can't say it was a shame at all.

Yeah, sucks that Bulldog Jr. got busted, doesn't look too good for his future here. :|

On topic sort of, SvR 08 is out in a bit over a week. Who's getting it for what and should we try and start some kind of "E-Fed" with it?

I am more interested in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns. I am just not as impressed with Smackdown this year. I dunno why. I guess after trying (and I really tried) to play Smackdown 07, I just couldn't get into it with the change of controls and a few other things. MAYBE this one will be better.

I just heard.

Man, I thought Moolah would go forever. While Freddie BLassie was like one of the grandfather's of pro wrestling, she was like the grandmother. I still remember VERY recently finishing Jerry Lawler's book in which he said that Moolah hoped to wrestle at age 100. I was thinking to myself, "Well, she might just do it!". A sad day indeed.

Also, just last night I was reading up on some NWA belt history, including the woman's world title and tag team titles. I was even learning just then how Moolah left the NWA for WWE/F causing the titles to become vacant. Amazing and ironic with the timing.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
