Thought I'd share the link of some leaked Coro Coro scans. The image of interest is the third one, I think; it showcases many new pokemon. The two dinosaur pokemon look awesome, IMO. I'm definitely putting the T-rex (?) on my team.

Looks like it.. Egg shape and Chansey face and all. Wow, there's not only 2 dinosaur pokemon, there's also what seems to be 2 MORE rivals aside from the other character (male/female and that blonde kid).

Maybe those two are somehow related, or maybe they're just seperate rivals. Imagine, going through the game wary of these four willing to challenge you whenever. Or reaching the end, only to find you have to have two tag team battles against two different teams.

Well, the female has a G on her back so I assume she's part of Team Galaxy. So she wouldn't be a rival.. right?

How ya doing, buddy?

Nope, looks like a rival. The fact that may happen to be in Team Galaxy just reinforces what I was mentioning. She may, like the digger guy, periodically show up and challenge you from time to time.

Example: She'll fight you whie you inevitably infiltrate some Team Galaxy base, or follows you around to get revenge or something.

The world reportedly has a massive underground section, which will likely be mostly inaccessible at first, and that's where this guy may end up fighting you.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

So I heard you can't upload Pokémon from the Advance games till you COMPLETE THE SHI'NO DEX FIRST or some rubbish. I hate you so much Game Freak.

Probably because Chansey was by far the strongest pokemon, that evolved into an even stronger form, in the game.

Are you kidding me?! That's great, I'm still having trouble completing the original Kanto pokedex in Fire Red because my nephew keeps on erasing his Leaf Green file right before he catches the Pokemon I need.

Heck, I still have the original Red sitting in my room with only the Pokemon from the Blue version missing from it.

Buying Pokemon Diamond will be the first time I've bought a new Pokemon since the original Red and Blue releases back in 97/98.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'd like the ability to go back and fight the Gym Leaders every once in a while. In Ruby/Sapphire, they were listed in the Trainer's Eyes, but they never became active again. And I love the notion of a legendary Water/Dragon.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You can do that in Emerald so.. I wouldn't be surprised if you could re-challenge the gym leaders in D/P.

Well, for those of you that want to see the intro to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl here it is:

http://visionmovie.ameba.jp/mcb.swf?....iQaff/CimSaii

Gameplay:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AO4l6EDOUU

And here's the 1st stage evolution for two of the three starters:
Naetoru's:

Pocchama's:

Hizokaru's (and other early 1st evos, and yes that's a Lapras pre-evo):

Ok, got the game, and things are looking awesome so far. Just a tad bit of stuff to quench your thirst for now. First up is the scan from the booklet of the 8 gymleaders.

1: Hyota from Kurogane City Gym - Coal Badge - enables Rocksmash
2: Natane from Hakutai City Gym - Forest Badge - enables Cut
3: Sumomo of Tobari City Gym - Cobal Badge - enables Fly
4: Makishi of Nomose City Gym - Fen Badge - enables Fog Clear
5: Merissa of Yosuga City Gym - Relic Badge - enables Surf
6: Tougan of Mio City Gym - Mine Badge - enables Strength
7: Suzuna of Kissaki City Gym - Glacia Badge - enables Rock Climb
8: Denji of Nagisa City Gym - Beacon Badge - enables Waterfall

As you can see, the have some new HMs and cut out some this time. According to the booklet, the HMs are:
HM01 - Cut
HM02 - Fly
HM03 - Surf
HM04 - Strength
HM05 - Fog Clear (clears deep fogs)
HM06 - Rocksmash
HM07 - Waterfall
HM08 - Rock Climb (climbs huge steps)

I was speaking idiomatically.

I could've sworn I read somewhere that after a long time they will rechallenge you again. Correct me if I'm wrong

Hm, it looks like they've gotten rid of the HM's Strength and Dive

I'm not particularly impressed with the new gym leaders. Apprently Nintendo is beginning to run out of ideas here.

Hyota = Brock and Giovanni (Rock/Ground)
Natane = Bugsy and Erika (Grass/Bug/Poison)
Sumomo = Misty and Wallace/Juan (Water)
Makishi = Bugsy and Erika (Grass/Bug/Poison)
Merissa = Jasmine (Steel)
Tougan = Brock and Giovanni (Rock/Ground)
Suzuna = Pryce (Ice)
Denji = Lt. Surge and Wattson (Electric)

It's not that I'm disappointed about this, it just sucks that it lacks variety. I have yet to see a Dark-type gym leader in a game. Throwing in another Psychic-type leader wouldn't hurt either. Hopefully Diamond and Pearl's Elite Four are a bit more diverse.

We've got a website that ripped the storage sprites out of the game, needless to say you can see some surprising evolutions for older pokemon (as well a ton of new ones). Here it is. And lastly, the final starter evolutions. I must say, they stomp the R/S/E ones flat. Pocchama's 2nd looked awful to me, as does Hozikaru's but they come back strong. Anyone notice that they were clearly going for Goku with Goukazaru?

Here's the final evolutions for the starters:

Dodaitoise [Grass/Ground]:

Goukazaru [Fire/Fighting]:

Empelt [Water/Steel]:

Yeah, though I noticed that Empelt is male. They've already shown there's a noticeable difference between the males and females of each pokemon, I wonder what the female Empelt looks like. Ditto for the other three.

Whoah, I see another branch evolution for Kirlia. I'm guessing the whole male/female pokemon looking different thing means that Gardevoir will end up being female only and this new one will be male only? ;| Or could that be Gardevoir.. only male.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Maybe it's me, but I see a pokemon with 4 evolutionary stages. The last two of the first column and the first two of the second are all literally just the same pokemon developing further.

That and do I see Magneton, Likitung and Magmar's evolutions?

The Water and Grass final evos look kickass. My sister wants Water so I guess I'll be going with Grass.

I wonder what that very floofy beaver type monster evolves to.

No love for the Flaming Goku? And Bippa, that beaver thing, just gets even fluffier. Just glance a ways up at my post with the multiple first evos in that screen.

And the site with the sprites has the evolutions on there. I always thought Likitung, Electabuzz and Magmar looked like they weren't final. The Magneton evolution is easy to spot, with it's massive eyelike main body and smallish magnets on the bottom.
