Question! Do you use a MacBook or a Pro? [Also, what do you have for a processor?] I'm looking at buying a refurb and I'm trying to weigh the different options.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" with an Intel Core i7, 4 GB RAM and a 500 GB HD. It's the fastest computer I've ever used and totally worth its $2k. Seriously.

See, I LOVE the i-series processors, but I really don't know if I can justify spending that much on a laptop again. Mine IS getting a bit old, though. Just trying to determine if spending the extra few hundred bucks on getting a Pro over the regular MB.

Yeah, I have Ubuntu 10.10 running on a partition in my old MacBook Pro 15" (Intel Core2 Duo) and the shit still runs great! I love it!

The dock is AWN (probably the testing version). The calendar I'm using is Rainlendar.

A friend of mine sold me a 21" Intel iMac for $300 after I beanerhaggled him down from $450. This is what it looks like right now. I still haven't customized it with a proper icon set yet but I'm open to suggestions.

Been mucking around with Win8 this weekend.

It's an interesting OS. It has it's quirks that dearly need attention but it's not too bad.
