Everything is finally uploaded. It took forever.

nabhan is presently my hero. I've wanted to listen to A Silver Mt. Zion, and all of that coupled with some GY!BE I've never seen before makes my night! I also uploaded some more of my own stuff into the thread for all of you to enjoy. I found this band through a friend of mine from high school, who is cousins with the bassist in the band. They're good stuff.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I would like to second that thank to nabhan for all that A Silver Mt. Zion work. Unless he plans to upload more, I have one of their albums that he didn't upload (Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward) along with two Explosions in the Sky albums, if people are interested in them.
Also, many thanks to Tawnee Stoner for that Plastilina Mosh album! I've been looking for them since the last GFFST. You have anything else by them? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I've got all three EitS albums (prior to their most recent one) that I could upload as well. If you want to coordinate the uploads, send me a PM.
I'm going to listen to Silver Mt. Zion now. I hope you all enjoy Lake Trout as well. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
The cd of No-Man , is pretty darn good! I like that stuff!
I was speaking idiomatically. |

Hey, everybody! el jacko and I have uploaded the entire Explosions in the Sky discography, for your listening enjoyment! And I do recommend you check them out, I rather do enjoy them.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
thanks for all the explosion in the sky's albums. I really wanted to listen to the one of 2005... never had the chance yet!

Admiral Amara, your upload Tales from Topographic Oceans appears to have expired. I'm interested in hearing it; can you re-upload it? What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
#092387 |
Absolutely! I'll get on that right away, it'll be up before you get back on. Also, thanks for all of the Silver Mt. Zion. Wonderful stuff!
EDIT: Yes - Tales From Topographic Oceans now successfully uploaded. Enjoy. Jam it back in, in the dark.

I suppose it's about time for me to add in my two cents after procrastinating for two months. Any rave enthusiest or fan of electronica ought to find plenty of enjoyment with Hallucinogen's work. A deep base beat mingling with layer over layer of sound and noise, perfect for the dance scene when lighthearted songs just won't do. Have fun.
Also, massive props to Iwata for Algy Krebs and Encephalon for Birdy Nam Nam. Both albums made my day the moment I heard them. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I'm glad you enjoyed the Algy Krebbs Quartet, but I'm not Iwata.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
It seems that yesterday was just filled with me making all sorts of stupid mistakes. Thanks to you, then, for uploading the album.

Kishin, I really like the No-man album. Do you have other stuff from him???

I like how El Jacko uploaded one of my favorite albums ever, Sarah Blasko's The Underscore and the Overture. A few days ago I nearly uploaded her Prelusive EP, but never got around to it. I hope all of you download her album and enjoy it as much as I do.
Most amazing jew boots I didn't say I wouldn't go fishin' with the man.
All I'm sayin' is, if he comes near me, I'll put him in the wall. |
I'm just happy to finally know who the hell is in your avatar.

Props on that Mission of Burma upload, Iwata. I'd been hearing about it for months before you uploaded it last time, but then the boards crashed. :/
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Are we still planning to do the "album of the month" dealie? If we are we should get on it before we're too far into May.
How ya doing, buddy? |
I uploaded some damn good avant-garde electronica to the Exposure thread. I highly reccomend y'all give them a listen.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm giving that Collapsing Culture a listen right now. Thanks!
Guys... After 2 boring hours of cutting and pasting, I finally got the index updated all the way to the Jackdaw albums. I hope someone has the courtesy to remind me not to be such a lazy mexican next time and get it updated at least once per thread page. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I thought that Vector Lovers was pretty cool although I wouldnt classify it as avant garde. A couple of the tracks were cheesy (the dancefloor type ones) but mostly its nice.
and I already have that sarah blasko. its brilliant. I was speaking idiomatically. |
I listened to the Vector Lovers album, and I thought it was good "ambiance" music. Not too bad.
I highly suggest anyone who likes modern rock to give the Jackdaw albums I uploaded a listen to. Although, actually, I suggest anyone listens to it, but, I won't be picky. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I have some Go-betweens, Ash Ra Tempel, Kyuss, Mingus, and some Hicks on the way.
