Almost bought Okami, which I want to play, along with some other random crap game for $14 during EB's Buy 1 Get 1 sale, but talked myself out of it when I looked at the huge stack of PS2 games I haven't even touched yet.

Gave Onimusha 2 a go after really enjoying the first one a long time ago, but the fixed camera angles along with too many enemies attacking from off screen made me drop it after a few hours.

Started playing Musashi Samurai Legend last night, and I'm actually enjoying it a bit so far. It's not quite as good as the first (I really liked the original's system of stealing techniques from enemies), but it's not nearly as bad as everyone said it was. Musashi's voice actor is so bad I make it a point to NOT skip his lines since they're delivered with the weirdest cadence ever (and strange pronunciation at times). But surf-rock guitar during a random bullshit motorcycle sequence? HELL YEAH.

Haven't watched through it yet since I don't want to spoil the minimal plot there is, but this clip claims to show how terrible the acting is.

I've bought these two gems. Haven't actually tried Bayonetta yet, as it just dumped in on my doormat.

I'm a couple of hours into Muramasa though, and while I usually sell my games right after completing them, I'm seriously considering keeping this.
The gameplay is a tad on the simple side, but it's still fulfilling just leveling up and collecting new swords (Diablo 3, where art thou?).
But it doesn't need to be that deep, as long as I get to stroll through what strikes me most as live paintings. It's simply beautiful.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Be sure not to play the game on the easiest combat setting, otherwise Muramasa will get plain kinda quick. =/

The patch makes it pretty solid, though.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Recently bought SMT: Persona 1 for PSP, and FF7 off of PSN, and FFXIII for the 360.

I might trade FFXIII in though.

Finally got around to buying a PS3. One of them 160GB chunky-ass ones. I think what prompted my decision was the fact that my little brother just moved to Montreal and so I would have access to a small library of recent games to play. We used to chip in together to buy newish games and take turns playing them every other time we've lived in the same city, and I guess we'll probably be taking up our old traditions again.

In anticipation of Ultimate Ninja storm 2, I manage to find the first one cheap. I'm really not a fan of Naruto, I mean I don't hate Naruto I just never watched an episode. However the game is really fun! I had a blast to play with some friends

I bought Lost planet 1 yesterday for 10$. I wanted to play the first one before moving to the second one. For now its ok. the game is pretty hard sometime...

Did I mention I bought Just Cause 2 for 360?

I've not played it yet, probably will in the next day or so since I'm bored of the Reach beta now.

I haven't bought anything yet today. My best friend just told me he picked up one of the expansions to Fallout 3. He is going to let me play it too, hopefully. I really loved that game and would really appreciate a chance to expand the playable areas so that I can enjoy more of the game.

Just today, I got Lost Planet 2. Game's solely multiplayer (story's coop up to 4 people and the usual multiplayer modes) and quite fun, to be honest. It won't win awards but will entertain those who play with others quite often.

Picked up Red Dead Redemption today. So far I love this game.

Also recently picked up Sacred 2, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Bayonetta for the PS3. Next week hoping to score Hexyz Force then I'm done with games until Peacewalkers and whenever Castlevania: Lords of Shadow comes out.

Very nice. For the American crowd, please refer here: Amazon.com: Planescape: Torment: Video Games

As for my recent purchases: Mass Effect 2 CE never arrived after Deepdiscountdvd reneged on their promise. I wasn't charged anything, but I still don't have it officially for my 360. I was quite about it, and their Customer Support was non-existent, so I now avoid them for buying games.

In the meantime (Meaning the last few months), I've also gotten the following:
Bayonetta [360]
Batman: Arkham Asylum [360]
Super Mario Galaxy 2 [Wii]

Steam Games: (All but SS:HD were gotten during one of those bundle sale thingys)
And Yet it Moves
Galcon Fusion
Machinarium
Osmos
Serious Sam HD
Trine
World of Goo

Haven't gotten to Bayonetta yet but I'm pretty far in Arkham. By far one of the best games for the 360 this year. Galaxy 2 is great as well, I'm a sucker for Mario platformers so... yeah.

Got Mario Galaxy 2 from Amazon, which came with a $20 credit toward my next game purchase.

So, I turned around and used that toward Assassin's Creed 2 for $4.99 ($24.99 normally).

Being the Kojima fanboy that I am, I caved and bought Peace Walker yesterday on my way home from work.

I only got about half an hour in, but god, the controls are morbid. It will take a while to get used to. A looong while.

Everyone I've spoken to who played that says to switch the controls from "Action" to "Shooter", otherwise it's practically unplayable. Give that a shot and see if it works any better for you.

(I don't own it, just going by what fellas have said.)

... Stephen and I have gotten quite a few things in the past month or so, thanks to Amazon giving us multiple 10 dollar credits:

Super Mario Galaxy 2
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Okami (Wii)
Lost Odyssey

Almost sprung for FES. But no. (FES not yet)

Very true. Shooter is much more bearable. I think it's just that many who are playing Peace Walker have been spoiled by the dual analogs from the previous games.

Very enjoyable game though <3

That's not to say movement and controls in MGS games haven't always been stiff and unwieldy.
