Can anyone tell me how the d-pad on the psp handles street fighter alpha 3? If it's bad, how much does it affect your ability to do supers and special moves etc.?

Kingdom of Paradise is great. It's a really fun action-RPG-hack n slash hybrid. Plays a little like Zelda. The voice actors are pretty good and the most of the music is pretty memorable, especially the song "Eastern Seriyu."

The best thing about Kingdom of Paradise really is the combat. As long as you have a the Genmei sword equipped and upgrade it regularly, you'll have little problem with your opponents. You can also use Chi Arts which are pretty cool attacks. There are five types of Chi, each with three spells. You acquire the new spells by killing enemies while having that particular Chi equipped.

Kingdom of Paradise is an above average action-RPG for the PSP with impressive graphics and cutscenes, good voice acting, great atmospheric music and a fun battle system.

For the use I will be giving the PSP the demo disc should be enough, if you catch my drift >> That's why I want the 1Gb. card... I would go for the 2gb. one but I am short on dollas dollas.

Offtopic: I wonder how such a neat game such as popolocrois was based on such a shitty cartoon.

You've got it backwards, the game came first, then the anime.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

well...the only thing yo ucan't do with the d-pad is obviously the dash jump..however you are able to do supermoves.. i played t he game for a whole day with almost every character and im able to pull off super moves with the dpad.. so in a way i use both the dpad and the analog. it was a little difficult to get used to but in the end you'll be content with at least that. dont get it twisted, you can also do moves wit hthe analog, only when you try doing the shoryuken with a shoto, it kinda fails sometimes. you need to get used to the analog a bit more.

SFA3 Max requires what firmware version to play? 2.60? >_<

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I have a question for you guys as google was of no use.

I recently imported Suikoden I and II for the PSP, and as much as I enjoy playing them I cant help but keep thinking it would be 10 times better in English. With a English version looking more and more unlikely would it be possible to import, via your memory card, some sort of English translation?

Since it is basically direct ports of the game it wouldnt take much effort (well a basic knowledge of kana would help), but I was just thinking that the effort would be pointless if we couldn't actually put it to good use.

Sorry if this isnt the right place to put this, but I didn't think it warranted its own thread.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Some PSP ISO ripping groups do release language packs for some of these Japanese games so that any text appears in English. But this is for a limited number of games and is a rare release, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Wait what? Again google couldn't help me out here but could you, or anyone for that matter, give me some more information on these language packs? I mean are they embedded into the ISO?

I am aware that in many Japanese games for the PSP (most notably Breath of Fire 3) only support English in Uppercase, how do they get past this?

Apparently these translation groups either if the game is a port, they rip the menu's from the PSone version and embed them into the PSP ISO, or they actually do sit there and translate the whole version from scratch and patch the ISO themselves.

The second way takes them alot longer, and is much harder, no wonder you don't see many patches.

See here, 2 of the guys in this thread release English patches for PSP games http://www.psp-spot.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3499.

Why don't you guys post your psps?

Here's my wallpaper. I have a 1.50 firmware version PSP loaded with GTA:LCS in my 1GB memory card.

Unless someone has a skin or a white PSP, they're all going to look the same. This is like saying "post ur gameboy."

To burn the cob webs, find a spot that has a flame, then shoot it and keep the shot held down, run over to the web and burn it. It's a bit of a puzzle, you need to find a path to keep the flame lit.
