I've been thinking about Lelouch's actions, and I'm wondering if he's making himself the enemy of the whole world to unite it? I just can't see how any more war would do any good though. Why go to such an extent?

Well I'm pretty sure if he just could tell people his feelings and thoughts for once and not come up with another convoluted plan that his goals would be met. I can understand what his goal is but I doubt it'd really work in reality, especially now when Schneizel and Nunnally duo has come up to ruin it all, it'd be all for naught if they teamed up with the others because they're just out for the power once again and I doubt he'd be able to kill off Nunnally.

But then again it's anime world and Sunrise we're talking about here, plothax is bound to show up.

By the way, I was soooo expecting Nunnally to open up her eyes to show a Geass. It'd been real hilarious if she did.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Of course it is, he'd sound like a total liar and hypocrite if he would try to explain himself now and say that all he wants is peace and all that. I don't think becoming a martyr would really help that much though, because what will truly be left when Britannia and Lelouch has been destroyed? An united world with no troubles? I don't think so. If we were to be realistic it would not unite people at all in the long run, but then again we're talking about "anime world" here so anything is possible.

Lelouch is alive from my perspective. He's like Charles..think he got the code to become immortal. The driver could be lelouch..it's all speculation though. I think the creators either want you to guess he's dead or alive.

honestly, cliffhanger is a way better ending (despite the presence of intentionally vague hints), I'm glad geass stays unforgottable and not fall into cliche in the end.

The ending was great but there sure as hell are a lot of questions unanswered. Maybe a movie is up next?

So I haven't watched R2 yet [and am avoiding all the spoiler boxes above], but am planning on watching it as soon as I'm done with the first season. My question is... as I haven't really watched much anime lately, I'm not up on all the fansub groups.

Is there one that stands out above the others? Any one group to suggest for this series?

What an incredible ending. My only gripe is that they stuck with the default opening and a slightly changed ending animation. It would've been much more epic had they done away with the opening animation (credits over the episode itself) and presented an epilogue during the ending theme.

Thumbs up Taniguchi, you managed to pull everything together wonderfully at the end.

The way they used Continued Story as an insert song would have made an ED that wasn't ALI PROJECT more awkward, imo. (I agree though, that they should have gotten rid of the OP or used a special one like in the 1st season)

Anyone have the tracks up to the point where "Zero" shows up?

The zero requiem was one of my guesses in which why lulouche was acting the way he did but the ending itself was superb. I honestly hope they don't bring about an ova or movie explaining how he survived because he took all the worlds hate into himself and took it with him in death and that was an ending worth remembering. Cheapening it into something like a miraculous recovery or bringing back to life with some sorta geass would make it seem like FFX-2 which ruined the ending for the first part.
