Anyone else have a problem with raids not being right? There was a AQ 20 pug last night and I was like the 5th person invited. When we got all 20 people, headed down to the instance and half the people were in one instance and another handful were in another. I would chalk it up to some being raid locked, however I've never been in there on my shaman before and everything was cleared past Kurinaxx and the second boss. Everyone was witnessing the same thing. Both sets of groups had no mobs for the first few bosses, but we weren't in the same instance. No one was raid-locked at all. :\
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
That's cause your raid leader HAD been in there and he HAD cleared that part. The rest of the people must have not been able to join HIS saved one cause they've been in before or whatever else. Unless he changed leaders after people had gone in but yeah.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
|
That's interesting because he never came in the instance. Still though, if that were the case, wouldn't I have gotten a raid ID when zoning in the place? I didn't have a raid ID, and two other people in my guild didn't have one either, we all zoned in.
Someone said there was a bug that caused instances not resetting properly, but meh. Only a week till I can do some new 5-mans. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
You should have stolen their raid ids

Second those are some nice rogue buffs. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

LOL dark portal. A quest for a tabard out in Dark Portal. Of course it's hard to do the quest to kill 6 when the entire alliance are flagged out there spamming AoE so if you try to tag one first you end up getting flagged.
Also 64 elite pops out from time to time. lawl. Most amazing jew boots |
That raid ID thingy is bullshit.
Second, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/...12000513031351 That's my new destruction build for BC. Wheee! What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

No Improved Firebolt?
That is an excellent talent for adding DPS. Especially when you're in a tank group for the stamina buff. And it's somewhat handy in PVP too, although the Felhunter is admittedly much better for what it's intended (i.e. interrupting caster spells). Oh, and I did the tabard quest in under 5 minutes. RP-PVE servers for the win. Just tagged one or two felguards (nobody was spamming the portal itself so it was easy to do this), and kited them to the guards and healed myself. And I am now officially LOVING Enhancement for PVE. I had a competent tank in Live Strat today, and I could literally go balls to the wall DPS with spamming Earth Shock and almost never got aggro so long as he had a second or two to get a sunder up. PVP, though... well, let me put it this way. I fought a level 60 pally last night. He killed the 52 druid I was with, and then turned to me at about 80-90%. I did everything right. I trinketed out of the stun, used rank 1 shocks to interrupt his heals (he could NOT heal unbubbled because my attacks interrupted him long enough for my shock's cooldown to reset), and kept myself at reasonably high health. I got him down to about 300 health, and he bubbled and healed to full. I did as well, and quaffed a mana potion. By this time his stuns were back up and he stunlocked me to death, with me being unable to do anything at all. It sucks when the only thing that makes you even remotely viable is a blue trinket that has no stats and a 5-minute cooldown. Jam it back in, in the dark.

What kind of bullshit? (as in a bunch of ondore's lies or blizzard should do something about this!) There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I LOVE the fact that FINALLY I can fucking craft the BOP Dark Iron Plate as a generic Blacksmith item. (I'm an Axesmith on my warrior). I had all these swordsmithing/hammersmithing plans that I could learn and not have to have them take up space because I couldn't sell the shit.
new flash site: http://media.worldofwarcraft.com/bc-minisite/index.htm =o Silvermoon City MP3 from the OST (from the flash site) Anyone able to rip the music from the seperate pages on this? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Immp: It's bullshit as in Blizzard should be able to punish people for abusing/getting more raids cause they get into it, wipe/cause problems and then when the guild who had the one or two people go in to finish it's done already? That's bullshit.
Second, I don't use my imp at ALL. I am usually always with a priest so.... Yeah. I just use my felhunter/succy. The only class I hate right about now is this, is the god damn druid. THEY REFUSE TO DIE! Oh and a druid and I got into a fight about gimping. Cause I didn't plan on getting mangle but planned on going full feral + NS and a few things I think in balance. Just cause I could pop out, get nurturing spirit or whatever pop a nice 2k crit heal in zero time and shapeshift back. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
|
I remember back on Laughing Skull a guild called Banana Boyz would do that. They'd have moles in various end-game guilds and in one week, had about 6-7 MC clears. Blizzard pretty much just slapped them on the wrists and told them to not do it again.
It also happened recently on Thunderhorn too. The sad thing is that the guild that was involved of it tried to justify it saying that the guild that was stolen from wouldn't have done it anyway. It's all bullshit. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Hmm now that I think of it, it happened to one of my guilds once and I think a GM was shock and did somehting about it. We went into MC all happy cause we were going to down rag cause last itme we got him to 2% and he was gone.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

There's some basement areas with lvl 65-70 ghosts that drop about 12-20s a piece plus netherweave, draenic water, super healing pots and 60+ greens. Also a group of mages out there with a new faction called the violet eye. Great fun to be had.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Haven't been there yet, but now that you've mentioned it, I think I'll check it out with some of my guildmates. Has anyone been to the Caverns of Time yet? I was there just to look around, since I hope to be spending a lot of my instance running time there, and man, it is beautiful. You can tell Blizzard really made things look awesome and I can't wait to go back in time, being that I enjoy the Warcraft story.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Caverns of Time is awesome and I just go there and listen to the music. They've also added the rep quartermasters with items to buy at the different rep levels. There's one in CoT that is an enchant for a ring. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Yeah, I went to the Caverns of Time too. Oh GOD how beautiful it is... it was like being a newb Tauren Warrior stepping out of Camp Narache into the wide plains of Mulgore all over again... <3
Speaking of which, two more days until TBC, and a 3-day weekend to boot. Hopefully we can get my 53 druid friend levelled to 58 so that we can actually friggin' level to 70 together... I was speaking idiomatically. |
lol "Unable to validate game version"
GG blizzard on yet another "unannounced patch" What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Yeah Dagget, I had that problem about two weeks ago. I got it at around 4 pm and I could not fix it until fucking 2 am in the morning after downloading a fuck load of anti-virus programs and a bunch of other shit.
The funny thing was, I can't remember what I did so I think it did it on it's own, but the launcher to the game became inactive, so I had to go in and start up WoW just by going into the folder and double clicking on the WoW icon so it didn't go to the launcher, just straight into the game. That seemed to work for me, because everytime I got that "unable to validate" it was because I went in through the launcher. On the official forums, there are at least 26 pages dedicated to this problem, and it's nearly a different person posting every time. FELIPE NO |
I was checking out the caverns of time ....and ya fucking epic. I felt like I was watching an Imax movie or something with my widescreen monitor. Blizzard really out did themselves there. I wonder what the portal behind the big ship is. I'm guessing its the battleground they said they were putting in there.
Oh and...I must have that riftdagger thing. Oh god. How ya doing, buddy? |

New forum background plus what the level 70 avatars look like. Not too bad. Got my collector's edition today. Of course the servers are SWAMPED. On Thunderhorn, Outland is almost unplayable. (Outland keeps crashing, etc) I decided to rip the soundtrack from the collector's edition. Upping it to Sendspace now. Will edit link in in a bit. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
