the stages appear randomly no matter what and so do the characters so the stages no matter who you assign them to will appear randomly as well so there isnt much you can do about when they appear.

guys dont character request cause really the shit isnt that hard to find and there are other places you can go and request and we've said before that this is only a help thread not a request thread for you to dump all your shit cause your to lazy to go find it yourselves. If you really need help with finding characters then pm someone dont put your request here cause as Lord Styphon has already done...you will get banned and get us shut down.

So I've been playing around with Nagato Yuki from http://kaihokaitin.hp.infoseek.co.jp/ for a while now (I actually found out about MUGEN from that YouTube video featuring the character). Seems like several people are using her here as well.

What have y'all been able to find in terms of her special hyper moves? I only got the simple ones, but can't find the advanced moves like when she makes Asakura jump out and stab the opponent in the gut. The download site does list the moves... but in a really confusing manner... in Japanese. Anyone has the moves written down in English? :P

Probably the easyist way to learn the moves I suggest is you find a program called fighter maker, granted it's what people use for making/editing the characters, but if you open a characters def file with it, there's a section that lists all the charcters moves. Generally that's far easier then searching the web for people willing to share each charcters whole move list.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

u can also check the chararacters CMD file that shows the whole move list in there too. just right click the cmd and click edit

To put it simply, any place in the "select.DEF" where you see randomselect written.. Put your character there!

Any place in the "select.DEF" where ever you see -/ written.. Do not put anything there!

I just d/l the torrent for EVE winmugen. And it has all the characters and stuff, but everytime I start playing it. Eventually it will crash, and I'm sorry if this was already answered but there are 57 pages of replies. Thanks

o_o wow... well I can understand why you don't want to type this up by hand personally I started with a half made mugen so some of the work was already done. Unless there's some plugin I don't know about which can arrange them for you you're going to have to type them by hand I'm afriad (the joys of programming >.>) only advice I can give is renaming the folders but instead using the clipboard to copy the character folder names over to the notepad file ^^;

it will eventually crash because there are so many characters in ur mugen roster that the total amount of ram and cpu used in ur computer runs out thats why mugen crashes. to solve this problem, open ur mugen.cfg file with wordpad and take a look at this section:

[Misc]
;Number of extra players to cache in memory.

change these options and see how much longer ur mugen lasts before it crashes
