Traded in Terminator Salvation for Fable 2 - which is surprisingly excellent. I've rarely fallen for a game this quickly. Good dumb fun - and an orgy achievement to boot.

Picked up Sins of a Solar Empire over the weekend, as I've been playing the hell out of my roommate's copy, but we can't do online multiplayer matchups without a second disk. First game Stardock's ever released that didn't drive me away with DRM. Now if only matches didn't take so damn long. 2-3 hours on fast speed, on the smallest map, for an RTS game, is just crazy.

Got Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Crimson Gem Saga on PSP.

CGS has been a fun little game and a refresh to play a straight-forward RPG rather than have a game claiming to be RPG-ish and have all sorts of complicated leveling/skill up systems.

Next week picking up Ghostbusters. Can't wait.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Went to AnimeNEXT these past two days and actually picked up something from the Dealer's Room.

Picked up this kick ass Twilight Princess wall scroll, as well has Legend of Dragoon for the PSX. Greatest Hits copy, but hell, I've never played the game before, so why not?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Your impressions may be different, but I picked that up back when it was relatively new on the PSX and was not impressed at all. After the third or fourth fight, the timing combat system gets really old, and by the end of the game it was a tiresome addition to an endless grind.

My most recent videogame purchase was Infamous. I had a good time with it, despite a few annoyances, but I am kind of regretting that I bought it instead of renting or waiting to find it used.

Other recent gaming purchases include Persona 3 (FES) and Persona 4, as well as Fable II, which I am enjoying immensely.

Grabbing things on sale hell yeah.

Picked up inFAMOUS on release day. Beat that one and a half times. Also grabbed Fallout 3 Collector's Edition during Amazon's sale, but I'm bad at that game so I don't play it much. Grabbed FFXI Vanadiel Collection 2008 and a Chatpad to play with my friend so that's what I've been doing lately. Got Elite Beat Agents for $10, currently in the mail. My DS library is lacking. And lastly, Sengoku Basara X during their sale for delicious GUNS in a 2d fighter.

I hacked my PSP again though which I'm psyched about, and almost through hacking my Wii to play backups from an HD.

I got the Sacred 2 collectors edition from Game's website, should have been delivered this morning. It came to £30 once I'd redeemed my points against it which is rather a bargain. Also, I hear from Meia that there was no CE stateside so I shall be sure to create a gloating journal entry for you all to enjoy when I get home and unpack it.

I bought Fable 2 last week. I've played about ten hours, and it's a nice confluence of quasi-open-ended progression, character management that isn't needlessly complicated, and some well-designed combat. It's pretty much the occam's razor of this gen so far.

I went on a pretty big video game shopping spree over the last couple of days, mostly for snes games. The flea market scene has been dead over the last couple of weeks, but for some apparent reason there was a lot of great games being sold today. This is list of what I got over the last two days, I think I spent roughly $220.00

SNES
Super Star Wars (Complete)
Super Return of the Jedi (Complete)
Super Smash TV (Complete)
Adventures of Batman & Robin (Complete)
Super Bust-a-Move (Complete)
Super Buster Bros. (Complete)
Eek!!!! The Cat (Complete)

Breath of Fire II
Final Fantasy III
Castlevania IV
King of Dragons
Bart's Nightmare
Kirby's Avalanche
Mega Man X
Actraiser
Street Fighter II
Street Fighter Alpha 2

PS2

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness

I would like to think that was a pretty good haul. There are obvious a few snes games, I really wanna play that I haven't had a chance to play before such as the adventures of batman & robin and super return of the jedi. The best thing of all, is this guy has who sold me the complete snes games, has a whole bunch more, and since I gave him a good bit of business he is going to give me first dibs on the next set of games that he gets.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Just got Knights in the Nightmare (with the Symphony of Souls CD and the Tome of Lost Souls artbook)!!

Played for about 30 minutes then my battery died, but so far it looks and sounds great.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Heard some awesome things about it so far... So I went and picked up [PROTOTYPE] today. Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I'm about to tear it open and give it a go.

I bought Prototype as well, but I haven't opened it yet. Also recently picked up various PSP games I wanted (Star Ocean games, FFT, Castlevania, Valkyrie Profile). And a week ago I picked up Tales of the Abyss from a yardsale for 5$. I never played it before, but I seem to like most of the Tales games.

Haha, the PC version is certainly much better but the 360 version is still a great game, if for example your PC won't run it decently. You just need to make sure you either install it or have a really high boredom threshold during loading screens.

I got Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor the other day. A pretty good strategy RPG for the DS. I have a lot of those on that system.

I picked up Prototype for PS3, I probably won't try it for a while though as my backlog is pretty full.

I went to an Asian mall today and found this little video gaming store selling stuff on clearance. They had a PC port of G-Darius for 4 bucks. Being a fan of the genre I grabbed it and found out it's only 2 bucks. Sweet. I dunno if it was actually 2 bucks or if the employee was just a nice guy.

At any rate, the bosses are downright huge and takes a bit of time to take them down. Is there any robotic sharks in the game?
