So, that's three guesses so far. Time for a hint. Hmm, something not too revealing... what I can tell you is that in the city this anime takes place in, there are no people. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

You know, I'm just going to go out on a limb here. It doesn't exactly look very much like it's actually part of an anime, but a scene recalled or thought up by somebody in the anime. I'm going to guess Bottle Fairy. Probably wrong though, becuase I don't remember this particular scene.

The overall solidness of the background textures remind me of Darker than BLACK but that's not a series that I've watched yet though (maybe the first few eps) so I can't be too sure.
