Because Megi-photons are the second most common photon element in the game. You can get 39465395869 stacks of it in no time at all.

From my POV its to combat the idea of people not buying neutral weapons/armor.
Light monsters are not a common enemy. The only place rich of light monsters is Agata Relics and that place is avoided like the plague.

Ice synths are the most expensive because Ray-Photons have a low drop rate, even in LL - also they cost 8k-15000 in shops >_>.

You will need to synth your own armor, these fail much more than anything else so people normally keep high % armors for themselves. Protip: cheapest way to raise armor PM is feeding it cast parts. Create/Remake a cast, strip, stick in common box, pull out - Repeat. Be careful not to accidentally delete your main character in the process.

You can stick with Hardline(31% fire, but cannot use mega/rainbow) and/or Gi-senba(28% ice). Don't be put off by Gi-senba's low DFP score. DFP means nothing in this game.

I use: Gigaline(26%fire), Yamata-Senba x3(20%Ice, 20%Ground, 22%dark)

I'm hoping the enemies are harder though. At least level 30, because Invisible Road was awesome because of that. Newdayz just seems like a grind on C, ugh.

Its Linear Line with Dulk Falkis, I bet that one is the hardest of all. And of course the whole luck thing won't help. Still, I got a feeling it would be more fun and challenging than Nuedaiz. The maps will probably frustrate us though.

Yep, mostly dark. So stay away from all your light elemental armors! Also prepare all the scape dolls as you can~ We gotta prepare for Megid (or Megiverse if on higher rankings)~

I don't know what I want to buy, weapons wise for it. All I got is a 22% light Shiratuno-zashi. There is a 50% light axe for 9mil, but I don't know if I want it... No light spears for sale, now twin claws for sale. Man I need a strike PM.

Not that much. Though, the only spell worth worrying over is probably Megid. Since, you know, that can instantly kill you (with Megiverse being the worst offender).

I can see so many people whining because they were unlucky and died of Megiverse :P.

So I broke 2 Kikami today using +4 grinders with Luck 2 and a Very High chance of it working.

I am not ready for this mission on A at all, so I might be doing B's. All I got is a 44% 9* twin dagger and that single dagger I mentioed, and RBZ sucks ><. Deciding on the 50% Ank Pikor for the boss in the morning. Redda is gearing up for it's final dance with me before being retired for Anga Jabrunga.

Actually, I remember getting my first B-Rank (when I was around level 12) and when I went to grind it because it was my first time yadayada, it broke with a +5 b grinder at 3 star luck.

EDIT: Anyone know how long maintenance is? I thought it said somewhere here it was 11:30pm to 4:30am PST? Because I might wake up a bit earlier just to do a run or two of the new mission if I can. >_>

maintenance duration varies from 4-6hours imo

I like the new mission, but I fail to see how it is considered 'luck' based?

It has level 20 creatures, which aren't bad. Basically it translates into 20-30 levels. And I can see because of all the Djalbens (sp?), Goas, and VANCE, that I'm getting more EXP than Nuedaiz. And there isn't anything to look out for (C), just died once of a Megid, but a scape doll saved me.

Boss is Dulk Falkis, who woulda guessed? First time fighting him, but it doesn't matter he went down in 10 seconds (no joke).

CHIP LOCATIONS
When you first get into the HIVE, there should be a branching path blocked by debris (you may to use your goggles). Keep note of that. Once you hit the first teleporter, you'll have two paths North and South. If you take the south path, after killing and dodging a moving crusher you'll have your reward (again you may have to use your goggles).

Another is in PLAIN site. If you get to a room with a lone KEY in the center, grab it. The chip should materialize out of nowhere behind you. Just make sure you have a lot of HP because a trap will activate around the key (four turrets) taking off 50-100 per hit :P.

Didn't find the third chip (or if we missed the first or second :P) so you're on your own there. If this is luck based, you may have to find the chips another way. But that's where they were during my first (C) run of the place.

Its luck based cause only ONE map has enough spawns for 10. Its like rare spawn hunting where you need to keep restarting till the right map shows up. Fortunatly, you can tell right away in the beginning if you got the right map on the first block, which will increase your chances.

If you already got your 10, then it doesn't really matter anymore. You should still be able to get 8 if you do it under the time limit yada yada and chips.

Wow that's pretty lame. Wanna share how to figure out the right map, just in case I get stuck with a group that knowns nothing? (which has been happening lately).

For starters, don't even bother if the warp is blocked on the first block of the mission.

Ok..all from my memory.

For the next block which is where you go when you take said warp, the first chip in the door DIRECTLY behind the party upon spawning in the next block. Now to your left will be rubble. You can goggle this. When you kill the monsters in the big room a warp will appear. If you don't show up in a firey room after the warp, wrong map.

Now when in the firey room, just traverse through it and you should come upon the rubble again. This time you can break that rubble. Chip may or may not appear here. Don't worry if it does not. After killing some enemies you should come to another big room like before but this time there is a sign on the ceiling. A button will be behind it. Shoot the button and the chip will appear. I think after this you head into the hive.

It gets tricky here and I don't know remember where the third one is.. but if you do not fight Falkis form 2, you will not get 10. Falkis 1 does not matter period. What should happen is, you will enter a big purple aura room and fight SEED-Magashi. After that battle there will be a boss warp. Falkis 2 will show up.
