I am going to guess Cowboy Bebop, because of the frequent bar scenes, and then Trigun because of all the booze <3 Both shows have a similar art style, but i lean more towards trigun, i think

I think I can say that this show is more recent than any of the ones mentioned so far. Not really recent as in "airing at least a year ago" recent, but certainly more recent than Bebop or Trigun.

Whatever, I'll toss up another hint. Maybe people can put two and two together.
