What I understood from that was that Lost will revisit the beach more often, ensuring all characters get semi-equal air time.

But I think it's too late for that business - we're already more interested in the plight of Jack, Sawyer and Kate. Who cares that Desmond is Jesus. Who cares about Charlie's struggle to keep Claire in his life?

Oh right, this is coming back soon isn't it? I had forgotten about this.

So they are going to be spending more time on the beach rather than most of the episodes with The Others and Kate, Jack & Sawyer? Why? I thought that this was the only part of the series that had anything going for it, well apart from the whole thing with Desmond being some sort of seer, and the other hatches, but they can only play that card so many times before people get bored with it. I hope that they don't concentrate too much on the beach people, I want to know what happens with The Others.

The Lost Moments were pretty lame (save for one) so I don't really follow them anymore.

Although I was pretty positive towards the first 6 episodes, the rest of the season better knock my socks off or I'll simply lose interest.

According to what one of the producers said yesterday, it really does sound like they are going back to the beach:

Quote:
Jack, Kate and Sawyer's time on "Others' island" is officially over at the end of Episode Six, says Damon Lindelof.

I'm thinking that the folks from the beach who found Patchy in the hatch will end up getting more time as they start to search for their lost comrads. Returning to the beach, only to have the beachers start on a quest to find Jack, Kate, and Sawyer. Once Locke and the others are there, we'll get the full scoop on the Others.

Lost will at least last till Season 5. That's for sure. The maximum would be Season 7.

Lost has also got a game coming out on all next-gen consoles mid this year. Ubisoft is on it.

That was a thought in the beginning, but the producers tossed that out the window when people started theorizing.

I find it depressing that I don't care about the premiere tomorrow. Normally I'd be stoked out of my boots for the premiere, but I just don't care about this show anymore. I think they officially jumped the shark in season 2, and due to that, they completely lost my dedication this past fall with their stupid plot developments, most of which were unnecessary.

Spoiler:
Eko's death, in particular. He had no reason to die, especially considering how fucking lame his death was

Also, the producers are taking the show in the complete wrong direction. This quote in particular put another nail in the coffin for me-

"I think there's a much larger audience that's much more interested in who is Kate going to choose than the details about who Alvar Hanso is."

Ugh, they're so fucking wrong. Supposedly they will start answering some questions, such as what happend to Desmond after the hatch asplosion, but eh, I just don't care. Anyone else feel the same way?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I definitely don't care as much either. I saw some slippage in Season 2, but I didn't really feel it jumped the shark until that little Season 3 mini-arc that came on last fall. I'm still gonna watch, and probably will until it ends, but it'll mostly be out of habit rather than for continual interest in the plot.

I can't even watch when it's on because I'm in class till 10:20 on Wednesday nights, so that doesn't help. Does ABC still offer the shows for free the day after?

I'm the same as Rockgamer. I went through the first two seasons on DVD over the summer and loved them both, but what's aired so far of season 3 was disappointing. I don't think it was as horrible as a lot of people are saying, but it wasn't too great either. It's not that exciting for me anymore, but I'll keep watching.

They have all of the Season 3 episodes that have aired so far on there, and as far as I know, they still plan to add the last aired episode the day after as well.

I felt the same way up until yesterday when I started watching the first six episodes of season 3 again. I'm looking forward to Wednesday much more now.

I'm still pretty interested in the show. I still love most of the characters and I feel that Lost has yet to jump the shark (although it has come very close).

As I said earlier, though, the rest of the season better blow me away because I don't see my interest lasting for that much longer at the current pace they are going. Season 3, in my mind, has zero direction as we still have absolutely no idea who the Others actually are.

Every episode (well, for the most part) has to be important if they truly want to end the show at the 100 mark. Which, as we all know, won't happen.

Watching Lost is like being a kid and listening to your father tell you a bedtime story that he makes up as he goes along.

"Uh, and then the Others... um... they've been on the island all along! And... um, they have a book club! And maybe they're good, maybe they're bad... etc... Trust me kid, wherever I'm going with this is going to blow your mind!"

Looks like any hope of seeing some form of resolution to Michael's story has been thrown by the wayside-

Quote:
Former "Lost" cast member Harold Perrineau has landed a co-starring role on CBS' drama pilot "Demons," says The Hollywood Reporter.

The project, from CBS Paramount Network TV, centers on Gus, an ex-Jesuit priest-psychologist who performs exorcisms. Perrineau will play a priest who has known Gus since seminary and is his confessor, confidante and good friend.

For two seasons, Perrineau co-starred on "Lost" as single father Michael Dawson who sailed off with his son in the show's Season 2 finale.

There has been talk about Perrineau possibly returning to the ABC series, but trade says the sides could not reach an agreement.
To be fair, his story did end in the season 2 finale, but I mean come on. Did it REALLY? He sails off with Walt towards unknown shores, something Desmond has tried repeatedly and FAILED because of some "snowglobe" theory. Who's to say he even made it out alive? This show has so many fucking loose ends it makes me sick.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Realistically, if they don't come to a concrete conclusion for that part of the story, I will go apeshit.

They've done virtually no explaining of anything so far, and I think this one aspect (Walter and Michael) could be easily done, even if it "matches" Desmond's story.

I become more and more irrirated with what I read. Like Jazz said, its becoming some bedtime story that some guy makes up as he goes along. It's becoming too big and too loose to even try and explain everything.

And god forbid they make an attempt at Michael's story.

But I'll be watching tonight, nontheless.

No more walkie!

Did Sawyer say "Sheena"? Isn't that Danielle?

Oh, it's Alex.

Oof, mental reconditioning. Weird.

<3333 WELCOME TO THE CLUB, PLAROM! Its a reeeeally good show.

So. I am not disappointed at ALL tonight (for once). I feel like we got a good amount of information this time around - thank GOD. I was scared. I've been waiting for this for MONTHS.

There's a lot of things I want to go over, but I will have to look at the episode again and write everything down.

Alex is Danielle's daughter....and Ben's? Is Ben Danielle's husband? The one who "caught the virus" and died? Interesting. I dunno if it's a lie or not.

I also liked the whole bit with Juliette's flashback. I think she's INTENSELY more interesting than the other characters at this point. I really love what they did here. It looks like the current group of Others is a independent, privately run research team. Ethan is one of the recruiters, I guess.

Anyone find Alpert or whomever to be familiar? I didn't recognize him. Maybe a relation to Alvar Hanso?

Again, I think a lot was answered here. I am feeling a little relieved. And I have to admit, I cried when Juliette's sister told her that she was pregnant. It was a good, touching moment. Just what I was hoping for.

This episode brought back some hopes.

O, ANOTHER thing. Interesting how Juliette's husband got killed by a bus right after she said she HOPES he would to the Alpert man. Who apparently has a hand in the island. Which has weirdo shit like that happenening non-stop. Which KINDA takes away from the mysticism, depending on how you look at it. Nice twist.

I don't really care about the others dudes on the beach too much, though. But I guess I can, now that some answers have come up. O - there's another hatch, apparently. Where the clockwork-esque brainwashing of Alex's boyfriend was going on. Anyone happen to stumble on the name of that one?

That brainwashing bit was INTENSE. I found myself staring at it, a lot like Saywer.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

My mother, to this day, continues to insist that this theory is valid, despite me constantly telling her that the theory was already dismissed, and that people have already died in the show.

This episode was highly entertaining, and the end previews show some potentially fun twists coming up. In like Flynn.
