Yeah, they have. At the same time though, no one really cared about it because Christian wasn't doing too much as a draw for the belt. Samoa Joe though is an entirely different story.

Where I hope they go is that Sting captures it from Jarrett, Angle then turns heel directly after the match by attacking Sting (remember, Angle is the ENFORCER and not the referee, so this can happen) setting up a title match between Sting and Angle after a bit of a feud. Sting drops to a heel Angle, setting up Joe vs. Angle for the holiday PPV when Angle claims that he defeated Sting because his "Scorpion Death Lock is crap, I've made more people tap out to the Ankle Lock because I am a submission machine" which draws Joe's ire, and starts the feud.

Sad to hear about Jarrett's wife. I pray that things go well for her and him. Hard stuff there.

How about this for a big WWE announcment...unification of the titles and no more huge brand split between smackdown and raw...since there is ECW now it can be more of a WWECW vs WWE

That would be the direction they need to go in, because the two shows really aren't doing them much good together when they could run a single show and alternate wrestlers/feuds so they aren't worked as hard.

Something like that would be a definite push forward for the WWE.

It seems to be going that way as now Raw and Smackdown stars are teaming up to face ECW or other Raw/Smackdown stars.

I though, would rather it be somehow that Bischoff grabs ahold of Raw or Smackdown and recreates WCW. It would be hard at first, but if they could somehow DISTINGUISH THE THREE BRANDS, then, a few years down the line, as part of a new era (when Vince finally hands the reigns down to Trips/Shane/Steph), it could be a big Mania match (maybe Mania 25?) where all three champs compete against each other and unify the titles.

Bishoff would need a lot of money to restart his own organization. And he'd need a lot of followers. He doesn't have many, and while I'm with the guy on this whole issue, his book isn't going to help matters. You can see it in his eyes though, he has a lot of regrets regarding WCW.

About the brand split ending, yea it needs to happen. I forgot how that all started anyway.

Actually, I'll be fucking pissed if WCW is revived as ANOTHER BRAND of the WWE. I will stop watching WWE-anything if that happens. It happened with ECW didn't it? Haymen talking all that shit about Vince, and it only was a leading up to a "revival of a new brand".

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Recreating the WCW brand for the WWE would fail, if only because they'd have to supplement it with WWE wrestlers. The "feel" of WCW would be completely lost because of missing key elements. Sting for one, would be the biggest puzzle piece missing.

WWE needs a single show, ECW needs a single show.

WS -- Ric Flair owning part of WWE when Shane and Steph sold their shares to become owners of WCW and ECW, respectively, then there were too many problems between Flair and Vince so Linda forced the brand split. OR in other words, HHH wanted all the screen time so they jammed him on raw so that others can have their chance in the spotlight on SD!

And I for one would love to see a match between Booker T and Cena for title unification because they did build a pretty interesting fued between the two.

Now that was a good match on Raw.

Spoiler:
Jeff Hardy, new IC champion. Bout time we got a new champ...now if we can only get a new WWE champion besides Edge and Cena I'll be happy.

That show went in the right direction, minus what should have been a WWE Title change to infuse some unpredictability into the show. One thing however, has become quite clear.

JIM ROSS SUCKS.

"Edge's eyes are as big as sausage."

WTF.

I'm sorry, but I think a good portion of the WWE's problems is that their main show has an announcer that will tie every food and animal into every piece of commentary he can in one night. For the love of god, BRING IN SOMEONE ELSE.

If you saw the highlights from the ppvs cena and edge had fought, you wouldve seen the elimination chamber one. WWE showed the footage where edge cashed the money in the bank and beat cena, and the whole time the crowd was booing edge. This obviously was bullshit cause I saw the damn ppv and the crowd was cheering for edge and booing cena to hell.

Also, the past smackdown, I noticed when cena came out, you only heard the cheers of women. Usually women and kids cheer for cena, and guys boo, but the deep masculine boos were gone, which is became pretty fucking obvious that wwe is editing boos and playing recorded crowd cheers, not to mention they have 4 days to edit footage of smackdown.

This is all cenas movie's fault.

I agree with Darsh. . . .

Spoiler:
I didn't want to see Edge win though. He sucks even more as a damn champion.

Kostaki how about this one:

"Edge had to go with the release because he couldnt use his left arm for the suplex". o_o

I was speaking idiomatically.

Clearly the announcers are prone to mistakes, so I can look past that. Since they have to talk in a fast paced environment. Though in JR's terms, he was probably thinking about food again when he made that call.

Couple weeks ago I heard..

"Edge is biting those ropes, and they're sure not made of chocolate!"

All I know is next monday we will hear the biggest whining from one wrestler in human history.

On an unrelated note, I like how Tatanka has become the jobber of smackdown. I mean really, wth.

Of course, all we need is even more fuel to the dead horse burning fire that is the Edge and John Cena feud.

God forbid if they do try and bring back the nWo again. I wonder if Shawn Michaels will ever admit during all this that he was a member of the nWo at one point, and wanted to jump to WCW to actually join the nWo over there for a while. Nah, I doubt it.

It's actually not uncommon for that to happen. The first time I noticed it somewhat was when I attended the Smackdown event in Jan of 02 when Vince announced the nWo. It happened on at least 2 different occasions. The first was when DDP came out. He was cheered quite heavily (this was when he first started the motivational speaker gimmick). On TV they gave him boos.

Second thing (and the most interesting) when Vince turned the chair around and it had nWo on the back. Everyone and I do mean everyone jumped up and started cheering their asses off. People were doing the Wolfpak sign and I know I had to have heard a couple hundred "Tooooooooo sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet"s. I know I was touching Wolfpak signs with a ton of people that night.

On TV? Yep you guessed it. They made the audience boo.

Makes no sense why they do it anyway. Most of the time they change the way a character is portrayed by reactions of the fans (nWo Hogan anyone?)

I think their only reason for putting Michaels in the nWo was to see if they could get a sucessful team of Nash and Michaels back from a long time ago

I will laugh a hearty laugh if it comes to Vince having to rely yet again on a WCW born and made stable in order to spike his own ratings. He claims not to fear TNA, but making moves like this, certainly prompts me to believe otherwise. Vince absolutely LOATHES using something he didn't create.

This is going to be interesting. Shitty, and more damage to the nWo legacy, but interesting nonetheless.

It will be shitty if the original members aren't in it. Minus Sting, uhm..forgot his name, used to be with Rey when Rey had his mask off, Bagwell, etc. Basically it better have the "founders". Hogan, Nash, Hall and with the same intensity. And the heel turn for Hogan has to have the same shock to the world, if not more.

I guess we can rule that out as not being shitty huh?

Really mad out how LAshley basically got screwed. If he wins, it will be by luck. . .

The infamous "airplane incident". Hall, Lesnar, Hennig and a few others were on a flight back from doing a tour of the UK. All of them were smashed and someone said or did something that caused a fight to break out. Of course, Lesnar wasn't fired, but Hall and Hennig were. I want to say Dustin Runnels (Goldust) was on that flight too and ended up getting fired as well, but I can't remember. I know it kinda pissed me off when it happened, cause I rather liked Hall being back in WWE. That's also when they decided to shit on the nWo and just start phasing them out.

It would be interesting if they were to bring nWo back, though. Websites are now saying that Vince only re-registered the trademark for merchandising and have no intention of bringing the nWo back, but we all know they won't spend the time and money to get back the nWo rights to just move shirts and shit. I'd laugh if they went through this whole ordeal and so much hatred of the nWo vs DX that when they finally clash, Vince thinking the nWo are on his side and will destroy DX, that they do the whole dive thing that Nash and Hogan did back in the day. (Triple H touches Nash and Nash falls down. Triple H gets the pin and they both point and laugh at Vince in the end) It would make sense since most everyone that was in nWo and DX are part of the big "Clique" heh.

jesus christ, rhino is eminem now?
That whole 8 mile rip off was pretty low, but its really bothering me that the guy who does TNAs music just blatantly rips off other tunes instead of making something original, if there is a music guy. Im not expecting anything musically great from such a small promotion, but I couldve sworn TNA also ripped off linkin parks "crawling" for a ultimate x promo for the tag belts a few weeks ago.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
