I have 210 something like that hours . at the moment im trying to get the strongest halbert in henne + and Im missing 7 rare monsters! . all my characters are around level 99 and yamaz is a completly joke , now his normal damage is about 700/600 xDDDD AND with protect on is about 400? xDD Im living him til I have nothing else to do. I need need to get toro sword / sagittaria / strongest Hal and Excalibur Omega was quiet a bitch but he is dead for good

it is indeed a Fantastic game! I havent finished it yet!

this is gonna be the 5th game that I will completing it 100% - ( Xenogears - final fantasy 7 , Wild arms 2 , Chrono trigger ) I hope the english version has some extras like dark sumoons or something like that

The old release date of August 1st, I think, would be perfect, as it's so close to my birthday. Basically, earlier than October release would be nice.

SOLDIER and Spatula, I totally feel you. If it was released before school started, even just a few days, that would be fucking fantastic.

I'm going to college and I'm going to have a full load...and that means almost no time to play FFXII, Okami, Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria and all those other fun games that are coming out in Autumn.

My schedule is basically the same all year round:

Full time work and 2 night courses at college. So it's not too too bad. Weekends I just have to balance. Ya know, I have 2 full weeks off of vacation time, but save for maybe 4 days, perhaps I could use 2 days of the vacation time just for gaming? LOL time off just for games, or I could just call in sick!

You make it sound so uncommon. I always use up all my sick days but I'm never actually sick. I just ... don't get sick. So of course I use my days for something constructive, IE; gaming all day long until I go to bed.

Man, I really want to check this game out now, unfortuantely, I don't have a PS2. Seems like a waste to buy a PS2 solely for this game. Maybe I'll just wait for the emulator.

But yeah, the soundtrack sounds exactly like Sakimoto, something that could have fit into Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm excited.

PS2s are bloody cheap these days, $130 CDN ($110ish USD) and FFXII isn't the only good game for a PS2, you know, but probably it could be one of the better if not best ones.

Also, it seems that EB games has updated the release date to October 3rd, 2006. T-mius 104 days.

EDIT: I just called one up and they said October 2nd. Interesting.

DOUBLE EDIT: Called up another EB and they said the 5th. .

Unless I hear an EXACT release date from Square Enix, I don't expect to see FFXII until Christmas. I remember the ridiculous extravaganza that surrounded KH2. If EB games were right on that one, we would've had it back in 2004.

Yeah but they also originally said it would be released in November. The localisation seemed quite far along though given the English trailer and demo at E3 so I'm hopeful it will arrive in October if not sooner....hopefully.

It's funny looking at a gamespy article from 2004 saying it'd might be a smash hit in 2005. Then instead we got FFVII:AC.

Quick question... this is for the PS2 only, right? Hope so, I refused to buy 11 for the sole reason that it was PC based. Maybe it makes for a bigger, more involving game but there's nothing like the good ol' retro feel to console rpging.
