This game looks great. Looking at this makes me wonder if one day I would buy a DS. The thing is I never cared much about portables but DS and PSP are changing my mind and of course, Valkyrie Profile and FF3 are making it a lot easier.
Most amazing jew boots |
How ya doing, buddy? |
Not everyone thinks FF is great. I was speaking idiomatically. |
the fmv somehow reminds me of Narnia. anyway, is the music still the same? still from uematsu?
FFIII had a very beautiful opening theme (not the usual FF theme), too bad it's so short and I hope they will have longer version in this DS version. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Is there any downloadable e3 trailer? I wanna see the FMV sequence.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Not downloadable, but the one that was posted a little while ago has the cut-scenes.

This game looks awesome. I'm actually interested in the DS, although I normally don't care about handhelds because of it, not only because of the effort that is apparently put into it, but also because it's the only FF I've never finished.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It's the only FF I DID NOT finish, just because there never was a remake. W've seen remakes from all the other games on the PS1, and those are all the ones that I finished. Besides, I started playing RPGs too late to know anything about all the number confusion.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
oh lol sorry I read ever >.<

*sigh* I tried, SE's website but with 30 mins waiting for dl... no visual only sound >_<
Any website flash rips? Oh I love those Chibi character designs, anyone know whos the art designer for those arts? I was speaking idiomatically. |
maybe you'll have better luck with youtube, but it still requires flash. here's a link - http://youtube.com/watch?v=UyK03P1oZ...%20fantasy%203

That's quite nifty.
I hope they preserve that specific artwork for the overseas releases. The cover for FFIV Advance was also gorgeous (I'm talking about the American/European version) - and you can't go wrong with that classic, epic feel Amano's works retain and evoke. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
...I'll be interested as to how it's planning to use the WFC.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
maybe to play with other people like some FF games did...(like in FFIX you could selec which character the player 1 control and the others on player 2)
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Could work like that, I suppose. PvP would also be nice.
I'm hoping Crystal Chronicles is online, though. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I can't wait to see how this turns out. I just recently started up a game in the original to check out what that one was like.
I'm especially curious to see how the music turns out. FFIII is one of my favorite NES soundtracks, and there are a lot of tracks on it that I'd really like to see updated. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Any word on who's writing the soundtrack?
I mean, if Nobuo's not working for Squeenix anymore, can they really use his compositions from the original? They'll probably get Kumi Tanioka or one of Squeenix's other big shots (PLEASE NOT SAKIMOTO) to do it. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I think it's Sekito, who arranged the Origins version of FF2. He's also known for Brave Fencer Musashi and his arrangements of the battle themes for the Romancing SaGa remake.
Oh...and I think it's gonna be a re-arrangement also, not a rescoring. FELIPE NO

I recall hearing somewhere that it was going to be Sekito and Keiji Kawamori (synth operator for the series since FFVIII, some work on Advent Children) working on the FFIII DS soundtrack.

Gameplay video
Looks pretty nice, there's a giant turtle and some other things. Like rocks. Also appears to have some loading times squeezed into it. Cartridge loading takes pure dedication! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
rah it look pretty good! I guess it will make a good birthday present (it's coming in september right? XD)
I really like the graphic style! it looke a lot like some FFT artwork but in 3D, I don't know it have a little the feeling of FFIX for the graphic^^ I like it! There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Now, some people gotta post some information regarding OST release.
I dont care too much about this game, the music is all that matter ![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
