Ah, that's the other thing. When I take my DS, I take ALL of my games with me since I never know what to play. And unfortunately, I have maybe 6 or 7 active long-term games going on and a few I've beaten but can easily be picked up again. The rest fall into the pick-up-and-play type of games.

And I'm not sure what an Altoids gum container is...unless it looks like the Altoids mints containers. But I can't imagine them fitting safely in there, unless you really packed it in.
Since when was safety an issue with Nintendo products? I think capacity is the primary concern here.

Some Googling revealed that my friend is not alone in her ingenuity:

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I carry one of these:

(The official name of it is a "ALS Industries NDS400-BLU DS Lite Game Traveler Case - Blue")

It's a little bulky, but along with the DSL it can hold 6 games (and more in the extra pocket if I want), it's pretty sturdy, and comes with one of those hook thingies (I forget what they're called exactly), so it can hang off a belt loop or a backpack instead of fattening a pocket. Works just fine for me so far.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

You can buy it off of Play-asia for the aforementioned $10 (which includes shipping).

Hmm...It seems really convenient....I don't mind if it takes a bit of force, but if the amount of force that it takes is close enough to break the game in half...that's not a good thing.

You haven't snapped any of your games in half, have you, Infernal?
I managed to crack Monster Jam upon clipping it in rather than trying to get it back out again, but it's Monster Jam so it doesn't matter. Still, I wouldn't like that to happen to an actual good game.

I was speaking idiomatically.
