Could someone tell me the catalogue number of the music for Da Vinci Online game Soundtrack by Gary Kibler?

or

None of that approaches this:

Allow me to share a track from this CD. Here ya go.

Alright, this is a strange request, but is anyone able to recognise the music played in the background of this skit? The track is from a German hip-hop album and the guy is obviously playing video-games. I want to get hold of the track played in games, so any help would be appreciated.

The album in question is from 2002, so any games released later than that might be out of the question. It sounds like a beat 'em up game, with some heavy sword-slashing and whatnot. Also, the buttons are rather loud, so I'm thinking it must be a DC, N64, GameCube or an Xbox game. That's all I could figure out...

Thanks to whomever give this one a try.

Alright, here's a toughie.

Who composed the Starsiege: Tribes soundtrack? Not Tribes 2, I mean the original one. Thorough searching through the game disc files, installed files, game credits, printed game credits, and on the internet has left me without an answer to this. FYI, the 10 tracks are in the format of redbook as tracks 2-11 on the game disc. Or maybe tracks 1-10. So there is no tag info, either.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Anybody happen to know the track order for Jets'n'Guns? That is, which order they play in the game.

Hello,
Since we're supposed to post questions regarding individual songs here, here goes nothing.

I've been searching for who did a certain song, mainly so that I could try to find more by the same artist(s). This is probably the single best rendition of a video game song turned to metal that I've ever heard. Hopefully this link thingy works...

Unknown - Castlevania - Bloody Tears

The closest I could come is Minibosses or The Black Mages, but neither sounds quite right. If someone could shed some light on the subject or point me in the direction of where to look, I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Look for something called Castlevania - Symphony of the Night Complete. There's two tracks on there (10 and 11) called Bloody Tears - Rock Ver. 1 and Bloody Tears - Rock Ver. 2.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Cool. Symphony of Night Complete...are those the only metal-ized tunes on there? Heh, at least some people have more clue than I do.

By the way, are there any other tunes like this that anyone knows of? I've heard a few of Youtube, but I was looking for just mp3s to make my life easier.

Thanks a lot for the info.

Just a minor question, would the two pieces of credits below represent the official music composers for Super Mario Strikers?

Sound Design & Music / Voice / Voice Scripting
Graig Robertson

Additional Music
Kyle Nordman (Swara Studio Ltd.)

Yes, I would say so. "Music" is pretty specific. It's used often in place of "Composer". However they can, in some cases, have both (that obviously doesn't apply here).

So, the composers would be:
Graig Robertson, Kyle Nordman

Anybody know who the composers were for Sonic the Hedgehog (XBox360)? I know Jun Senoue did a few tracks but I'm clueless as far as the others go.

VGM-wise, this is part of the "International Karate" theme, composed by Rob Hubbard for the C64 game. However, the original composition is not his; it was actually composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, as the theme for the movie "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence".

Thank you very very much Rimo ;-; I can't express how grateful I am. The first vibes I got was "this must be from some Japanese film", I was wondering if it was some anime-style film which I haven't watched.

There's a really popular version on solo piano (I say popular because I've heard that version multiple times elsewhere). Is it part of the original film soundtrack or did someone do another rendition?

Also, I searched for International Karate theme but could only find an acapella rendition of the theme on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZAY_fJ4IHHE), and it doesn't follow the original theme exactly. Did they sing it wrongly or is the theme from the game slightly different from the movie's theme?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

There have been different versions of this track made by Sakamoto, but the version used in the film isn't a straight piano piece so it might not be the one you've heard.

Yeah, I managed to find it already, his piano performance on youtube along with transcriptions from this forum. There is definitely a version that was produced as a piano solo though... my local television uses themes from other movies, pop songs etc. to spruce up previews of shows that are to come. Obviously a good quality track would be needed for them to use it like that. So it's out there somewhere.

Thanks everyone!

In the video of the Visa Röster a capella version, the melody from the sample you posted is sang by the blond girl with the red dress, starting at 1:07. The original game version is actually not identical to the theme by Sakamoto; it uses some motifs and is arranged differently, and at the ~4:00, it switches to a more rapid section.

If you want to check out the original C64 version, here's a link to it: http://sid.oth4.com/series/01/mp3/Ro...arate_6581.mp3

Noob here.

Hey sometime ago, I found some music files from Sonic CD. They were extracted from the game, but they weren't actualy used in the game. Someone went through the entire CD and found some them compressed. They were more like little intros to each level and they only lasted for about 10 seconds. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They aren't included on the Jap/US Soundtracks.

Xenosaga Episode III - "On Our Ways"

This is probably going to sound like a very silly questions... but does anyone actually recall where this track is actually played in the game?

From what I recall playing through it, I never once heard this track in the game itself.

I hope someone sees this message and answers it; this is the first time I noticed this thread, so hopefully other people know of it's existence so they can aid me here. Can someone please give me the names of the artists and their corresponding tracks on the ee'MALL & ee'MALL 2nd Avenue Sound Tracks?

I've got the tracks and all, I'm just missing artist information.

Here's the back cover which shows most of the artists in English. If someone could translate the Japanese artists, then that would be fantastic.

This website lists the artists. If you copy&paste them in google or look them up on Bemanistyle.com (which is unfortunately down right now), you should be able to find the Romaji names. If not, tell me and I look them up for you later :-/
---

I've just listened to a track from Ka no Hana Music Collection (HIDPC-3006) which sounds very familiar.
The trackname is Ayahana, but I am 100% sure I've heard it somewhere before in another game...and it's got to be rather old, too - maybe from Snes days? Any help is appreciated:
Get the Flash Player to play this audio file:

What the hell, I shouldn't have put this shit in my playlist. There is another one I swear I've heard before:
Get the Flash Player to play this audio file: At first I thought this was People Seized With Life from Chrono Cross due to those pauses between the melody - but it's definitely not. Yet, the melody I've heard before. As far as I know, it's not a classical piece either (maybe from a movie score?).
Either Agematsu has stolen everything together here, or he's copying somebody.

edit: The latter one is apparently Sadness from Xenosaga Ep.1

Mega Man X music artists

I have the Mega Man X 1-6 collection.... and in a couple cases, the actual artist is a bit of a mystery to me.

Akemi Kimura is credited for doing the openings / endings to all the songs on the final disc..... is this possibly correct? Akemi's name doesn't even show up on the soundtracks until Mega Man X6. How could she have done the opening theme for X4?

The only thing I can think of is that they arranged it by artist credit, but it just doesn't seem to make much sense even that way. I don't see Akemi's name until X6.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, Kimura didn't do anything on X1-5.

X6 is tracks 1-25 on the last disc, so I'm thinking that wherever you've gotten the information from (tags or an album info page somewhere) just gave Kimura credit for the entire disc (ugh).

Since the tracks are from X3-5, they should be credited to the composers for those games. From http://www.gamingforce.com/audio/gfa-albums.php?id=256:

X3: Minakuchi Engineering Staff, Toshihiko Horiyama, Syusaku Uchiyama, Yoshino Aoki & Makoto Tomozawa
X4: Toshihiko Horiyama
X5: Naoto Tanaka, Naoya Kamisaka & Takuya Miyawaki

Thanks for reassuring me.

I downloaded it from gamemp3s. They haven't released the mix torrent for 'R' yet so it might be worth notifying them about the incorrect tagging, just so future downloaders don't have to change it.

By the way, neat place you directed me to, literally didn't know it existed. May play with this for a while.
