Yet another trade has been decided upon. I'm giving Rock Montana in exchange for Alabama. I think this is the last one.

Clearly there are some balance issues to be worked out before the next game.

In the meantime, let's all enjoy the United States proudly sporting the German flag.

Spoiler:
Maybe start us with a bit less gil and fewer attacks with prices on nukes raised to 40-50?

Or we could just ban Team Devin from future Risk games.

Okay, this game has gone from fun to retarded in less than 12 hours.

WHAT. THE. HECK.

I left for one afternoon and in the four hours I was gone, the game goes from eight player to three.

We definitely shouldn't have started with so much stuff. Like one energy boost and five gil each would have been sufficient. At least that way we'd have to earn half of the map, instead of just getting it on turn two...

Alright, if I'm going to go down, I'm going to be an inconvenient fucker. First, I'm going to buy an energy boost.

And now I'm going to attack Montana.

Next, I'm going to attack Kansas.

Now I'll launch a sortie on Idaho.

Hm. I'll try Idaho again.

Now I'll take a chance on New Mexico.

Aaaaand I'll try New Mexico again.

Yes, some modifications are most definitely needed. Here's what I'm thinking:

-Tanks can only be used on states adjoining your territory, with their cost reduced to 10 gil
-Atomic bombs corrected back to 1-4 states
-Start with no money
-Bring back Ninjas: Roll again on each attack if it fails the first time. Cost would be reduced to 20 (from 30), since there's no defensive value now

What do you guys think? I had planned to wait a bit before the next game (maybe run a Scrabble game), but if you all are ready to go again, we could start a new game after the three Warlords go a few rounds.

EDIT: Chart and map updated, including Rockgamer's Warlord status. For the sake of putting this game out of its misery, the game ends in two rounds.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah, I think those modifications sound like they would work. I did feel a little bad about wiping out everyone like that. After killing Zerg I debated for awhile if I really wanted to go with the nuke chaining, but if I hadn't then anyone else could have.

I still think we should start with less cash so that the game can build up to the use of items, not start with items, but other than that the changes look pretty good.

Ahahaha, oh well, I'm not quite sure what happened, but congratulations to Team Devin!

I'm rooting for a Tritoch win because seriously, I want that asterisk next to his name for eternity

I don't deserve any asterisk since I only received two out of the three states. Pretty sure I didn't need them in the final plan anyway. ='D

Alright, with only two turns left there's no reason for me to hold back. I'll start off by using all three of my Energy Boosts to give me a total of 10 attacks.

Now to let the bombs fly. The first nuke is dropped on South Dakota. Alright, that gets Nebraska.

Dropping a second nuke on Louisiana. That takes Mississippi and Arkansas.

The third and final nuke goes to Texas. And that nets me Oklahoma in the fallout. Man, the nukes sucked today.

Now I'm going to use normal attacks on Iowa, New Mexico, Montana, and Idaho. Idaho again. Idaho a third time. There, fourth time on Idaho was the charm. Those potato farmers are stronger than they look, but KrelEN's enclave has finally fallen. With three attacks left it's time to start evening out the borders.

I'm attacking Missouri and Kansas. Finally, I'll reclaim Washington. Or not.

There's really no point in having the final round. KrelEN's wiped out, and there's no way Rockgamer could take 1st place. Should I start signups for a new game, or should I give it a rest?

This game was so short that we should just start sign-ups right away. Most people barely had any turns.

seeing as i only got one successful attack in that game, i'd probably be in for another. hopefully people won't be able to become godlike quite so quickly this time around
