TSG 2006 crisis core trailer!

wow this game look awesome! I,m a little surprise by the quality of the graphic!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yea those graphics are incredible, the animation is so fluid too! Ahh, too bad I can't hear the audio (no headphones, and using the campus comps). BTW, the guy in the last 30 seconds or so of the trailer, is that supposed to be Gackt? If so, I didn't know he had a role in CC, much less his appearance being extended beyond DC.

Saw the link at GAF, but I'm working now so I can't see it yet. Just glad the game wasn't cancelled (and ported to PS2 instead); this might be the title to breathe life back into the PSP.

Also, there's news that Playarts may create more figures under a new banner "Compilation of FFVII". This could mean we'll finally get the AC figures we always wanted (Kadaj) along with characters from other compilation titles (Shelke!).

MAN that trailer looks sweet. It's going to be hard for me to go back to FF3 after seeing that. The combat system looks cool too.

Two questions though, who's the other one winged angel and who's the guy near the end with the red hair & attire?

I'm not sure but I think there's a connection with Dirge of Cerberus (I think the character that Gackt play, talk about another one winged angel, and apparently the guy with the red coat at the end of that trailer is Gackt)

I'm really not sure who he could be, but since he has only one wing, I suspect that there's a relation with Sephiroth...

The one-winged angel guy is Angeal, Zack's mentor in SOLDIER (he's the one that passes the Buster Sword down to Zack). The guy in the red coat's name is Genesis, Gackt portrayed him in the secret DoC FMV.

I wasn't too thrilled with the remix of bombing mission, but the guitar track in the middle of the trailer was pretty cool. Also it looks like you get to fight summons, that's neat.

if it's going to be an RPG, I hope you get to talk to other soldiers. I doubt you would, but I kinda hope so. :nerd:

I'm really kind of burnt out on FF7 everything... Considering I don't have a PSP, I may just pass on this last bit of storyline milking Didn't even get through half of Dirge of Cerberus.

Edit: That said, the game does look amazing for a portable. Combat looks quite interesting too.

I'd wait for the Soundtrack release to make a final judgement, but I didn't mind it that much myself... besides sometimes the trailer versions of songs differ widely from the final in-game version.

I wonder, would you be able to battle Summon against Summon, ala FFX? That would make for an interesting debate.

Or who knows, with the new characters, maybe they'll retroactively throw in a couple new summons (As they did with Bahamut 4 in AC).

Well considering that they had cutscenes with Zack and Cloud interacting, I imagine you might even have a mission or two with him alongside, if they go the route of 'missions'. I doubt it would be a stretch to have other SOLDIERs (Not related to our resident FF Freak) in battle. Since Angeal's uniform is... well, uniform with Zacks, I'd guess its the BTU of SOLDIERs for Shinra.

.....dammit, I was happier not knowing anything about this. Now I can't wait for it to come out. I like how it has better graphics than DoC. The music was a pleasant surprise too (and seems to emulate the modern rock music used in Last Order).

It also looks like there's going to be a reason for Sephiroth having one wing aside from "hey let's give the final boss some biblical final form. It'll totally look cool."

But please, enough with the cockteasing Square. You know what we want.

Oooh, the trailer is so much better with sound. Heh, I think this is first time I've heard Aerith's name spoken in Japanese (nice to finally hear it).

The gameplay looks interesting, seems like they've got some sort of slot system going for it. Unless that's the ATB...

Heh, expecting my import PSP to arrive sometime next week, just in time for MGS PO, and looking to be another must-have title for it.

They don't, but the UMD videos/movies do and I got a couple region 2s that came with some stuff I ordered many months ago that I'm dying to watch. So yea, I decided to just import the PSP (white one, as you can't get that one here!), since the games won't be region protected and I don't plan to buy any movies for it.

Seeing how the thread is quiet at the moment perhaps someone can answer a question that a friend and I can't decide on. In FFVII everyone knows that Cloud's attire is purple of course but what is it in FFVII:AC? It's hard to tell if it's black, dark purple navy, whatever. Yes I'm colourblind to solve any arguments you might have. Any answers are appreciated. Thanks
