Sorry, had to get off, having some kind of network probablem. Game disconnected me. Took 3 tries to get back on, but I then decided to go ahead and stay off. Not having any other internet problems, so I'm wondering if it was something on PSU's end or not.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sorry, just woke up and got on. And holy shit we got Christmas!~

If you're still on here, gimmie a few minutes to make some breakfast and then we can meet up.

Double Post:
Holy shit, I just spent an assload of money. I managed to buy every single thing I wanted, and I have exactly 1,136 meseta left  . I was thrown slightly off because I didn't realize we would be able to buy mega/powers, and I didn't factor in costs for the new PAs on the new weapons. I wound up buying:

(Remember I'm a cast fortegunner, 6* hunter weapons are for backup/melee only, which is why I went 6* and not 7* on them like I had originally planned)

Mukarad (6* TW spear) - 35k
Seva Falsan (6* TW Saber) - 35k
Daga Sababba (6* TW Dagger) - 35k
Falcon (6* GRM Rifle, backup rifle) - 35k
Assassin (7* GRM Rifle) - 90k
Shigga Boma (7* TW Shotgun) - 90k
Gur Neda (7* TW Grenade Launcher) - 90k
Laser Cannon (7* GRM Laser Cannon) - 90k
Bulletmaster (7* GRM Twin Handguns) - 90k
Cubo Upinde (7* TW Crossbow) - 90k
Vulcan (6* GRM Mechgun) - 35k (Mechguns kinda suck, didn't want to spend 90k on one)
Teroline (6* GRM Armor) - 95k
Mega/Power Unit - 14,500
Sturm Buster SUV - 10k
Boma Banga (Fire Grenade Launcher PA) - 5k
Burning Prism (Fire Laser Cannon PA) - 5k
Yak Diga (Earth Crossbow PA) - 5k? (I think)
Revsys Arms (Cast parts) - 18k
Revsys Torso (Cast parts) - 40k
Revsys Legs (Cast parts) - 25k

>_>;

I also bought a couple of the new synth boards (the chao/jao one looks hilarious, I must get one somehow) as well. Also last night I got myself maxed out; I have 30 scape dolls (10 on me, 10 in storage, 10 in common box), 30 Megistrades, etc. So I'm as good to go as I'll ever be. I'm gonna get myself set up, probably do a quick run to get used to the new weapons and check out the new SUV, then check out S-rank stuff ^^.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Man school sucks! However I had a practical test that's worth 10% of my final mark so I couldn't skip out on that.

Anyways that damn Flexo set busted me down 75k meseta >_>

I got a double saber board (for figunner) but right now Im going to wait before synthing because I need to pump my GH410 a bit more in striking before making the attempt to synth. I also plan to syn a pair of new daggers (for figunner, guntecher and wartecher), and claws (for wartecher)

Man.. I feel so uberly poor again. Let's play together tonight Daravon.

Oh shit, did you mean 5:30 PM? For some reason I thought you mean 5:30 AM, crap >_>

I'm kinda messing around soloing because I'm expecting to have to leave for a while any minute now. If anyone's still on in a few hours we'll try to meet up. Also I'll keep this open until I leave, if anyone sees it we can try to meet real quick to trade cards. I'll be soloing Valley of Carnage C on uni 15.

Also have 20 Par Ebons for 2.5k in my shop if anyone needs.

Rumors are circulating about a Mesega Dupe bug found. Hope this isn't true, because SEGA might take drastic measures again. SEGA's approach can be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time...

Uh, that's been going on for weeks and weeks now. I think there's only one or two people who know how to do it though, and it doesn't seem to have affected much. The guy doing it had about 10 million a couple weeks ago.

The method is actually pretty simple and funny, especially considering that it was something that wasn't possible to do in PSO. I suppose this kind of confirms that PSU was actually coded from ground up, though it doesn't change the fact that it needs to be addressed. Right now, they seem to be trying to buy time with GameGuard updates, though that doesn't address the core problem since each time it's bypassed, a player can resume memory editing. No real way of knowing when they'll actually patch the loophole itself...

On another note, the update has done Sega good. It's restored some faith from the playerbase, and there's considerably less griping going on, now. If they hold true to their word with those consistent updates, it'll be a smooth and enjoyable ride.

Just got this game yesterday, and I must say, I'm impressed. Though, it has taught my how sorely out-of-date my computer is, what with the lag.

(1.8 GHz processor, 768 MB RAM, GeForce FX 5500...)

Anyways, just a bit of a question--is levelling your classes supposed to take this long? I'm a Ranger right now, and I've been questing all day, but I have all of about 40% on the EXP bar for one level.

That and getting Meseta's taking a bit of time to get, though I'm going to chalk that up to being level five right now; yay for bows, though--those seem quite nice.

Meseta is actually worth something now, so yes it is harder to get. The class levels do level kinda slow, but there are quick ways to level them. The advance classes take like 10 times the amount though, so that's something to look forward to. (sarcasm) Are you on the game now? I can meet you and exchange cards.

Just your processor. Play the game under 800x600 in windowed mode and lower some settings and you should be fine. I have 1.04GB DDR RAM, same card as yours.

Don't have stuff like AIM/Yahoo/MSN whatever you use running. I don't even have my wallpaper up when I play this game but you don't have to do that . If the lag persists, then turn off post effects. That will solve it.

Any suggestions for decently quick(er) levelling of the classes? Getting 2 mission points each time I S-rank things where I am is making me cry.

Granted, getting new weapons does help that go quicker.

When you work your way to about level 15, you can do Dragon runs. You CAN do them at lower level, but if you die you will be bitched at then kicked out of party. Also learned recently that Vally of Carnage runs can be the fastest form of mission points if you have a good party, but that's at higher levels.

Like Manny Bigz said, Valley of Carnage C is an awesome way of earning cash, especially if you are a hunter and use twin daggers.

Also if you are a low level character, partying with high level players is a given way of earning cash fast and levelling but just make sure you don't die.

Also try to stick to games that have the item distribution set to random or order. You most likely won't get much loot if it's set to pick up.

Alright. Thanks for the tips, guys.

Now for a question regaurding my computer. It's a 1.87 GHz Athlon XP-M, 768 MB of PC2700 DDR, GeForce FX5500 as mentioned before. Winter Storm commented that a CPU upgrade would probably make the most difference here, but my question relates to what you guys are using?

Debating if I want to try hunting around for a Socket A CPU, which seem to be getting very rare, or splurge and upgrade to a 939 64-bit machine. Apologies for asking that here, but just trying to get the most performance I can. :P

Mine isn't all that and it runs it perfectly fine.

GeForce 4 Ti4600

I do run it windowed though.

well I didn't play for almost a month now ( I played 2 week which f<was the free days I got)

and today is the end of my subscription... this game is good, but I think it get fast too repetitive. Mission are a little to much alike. If they could have made at least the room design random when you create a mission (a little like PN03 where there's a set of room and they are put together randomly when doing mission) it could have made the game a little less repetitive. There the problem too that now I fall way back in level and all of you are now pretty advance, so it get a little boring ot play alone XD

but it still a good game that I enjoyed and may probably come back, when FFXI will again bore me and I'll need another mmorp XD

Jam it back in, in the dark.
