No, you should look around first. Not too difficult. Possibly try reading the first post.
It's going to be $250. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

what is the video of, cause I really don't feel like signing up for another internet anything unless it is something worth it. Like, is it never before seen footage of a wii game? Cause if it is anything else I probably wont bother.

It's that lame G4 skit between a PS3 woman and a Wii woman that was posted a few pages back. I think it's from Attack of the Show or something.

I find it interesting that Microsoft is now backing the Nintendo Wii with PS3 coming out in the near future....The so called Wii-60 seems to be what Microsoft is pushing for a 2-on-1 gangup on Sony's PS3. I suppose that it's good news for the Wii since they have more people on their side. I dunno, just speculation....Any thoughts?
Secondly, how does one type in letters for the Wii's Web Browsing? Seems cumbersome if you have to use an onscreen keyboard. Double Post: ![]() I hope you don't have to do that to play Call of Duty 3..... There's nowhere I can't reach.

I find it funny that MS is teaming up (or at least trying) with Nintendo seeing how they're both at the opposite spectrums of the gaming audience. Sony & Nintendo would go together alot better because a lot of people who like the quirky stuff on the Wii tend to like RPGs and Music games as well. But hey, business is business and no one's going to go down if there's something that they can do about it.
P.S. As for Call of Duty - Wii that's what it's sounding more and more like you're going to have to do. But doesn't it make sense though? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
How ya doing, buddy? |
Just going to have to use a TV table with some books or something to rest on while sniping perhaps.

You know, I'm also curious about something else......Has there been anything on the Wii Orchestra that was displayed at E3? Because I was actually genuinely interested in that.

Yeah... Nintendo used it to show the possible diversity of the console. However when a rep at the tradeshow in Germany for Nintendo was asked about the game by GameTrailers he said that it should be some time next year, but no date has been given yet.
If you'd like to check it out for yourself the interview should still be on GT.com What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
It was either Gamespot, IGN or in these threads that I read this from somewhere...
But I agree with the argument that Wii Orchestra/Music should go beyond just swinging the Wiimote, like for example being able to point at specific sections of the orchestra. I suppose not including this is just so that the whole family can play, but it would help increase the appeal a bit. ARGH CONTROLLERS! WHY MUST YOU COST SO MUCH??! Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Well, let's see...What I would like for launch....
$250 - Wii Console 3x$60 - Wiimotes+Nunchucks $50 - Twilight Princess $480 - Total I'd say just close your eyes and buy it quick so you don't feel the pain. I guess it's good that you can buy all that and STILL be under a PS3, though no longer under a 360.... Also, Wii Orchestra would be amazing if you had two wiimotes and could conduct like a real conductor with the pointing and the speeding and slowing and crecendos and decrecendos and cues and all that stuff..... There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Not that you'd be paying that much less for controllers for one of the other next-gen systems. 360 wireless controllers are $50 each, and if Microsoft can get away with such a rip-off, you know Sony's not going to do any less. I mean, it's got the TILT function. That HAS to be expensive, right? At least you get what you're paying for with a Wiimote.

Besides, the casual/non-gamer won't need the nunchuck attachment anyway. The pricepoint for the controller is probably only painful to gamers. Then again, most games don't quite need the nunchuck attachment, and for those games, they're mainly single player. You might only have to buy 3 Wiimotes without the Nunchuck attachment. So that's actually about $30-40 for just the Wiimote isn't it? I was speaking idiomatically.

Most games need the nunchuck. And FPS, or platformer will require it.
As for controller prices (in CAD) Wiimote & Nunchuck = $80.00 360 Wireless = $60.00 PS3 Wireless = $50.00 Also the PS3 uses an actual geyroscope which is a more expensive component then that in the Wiimote, which is also why the Wiimote needs the sensor bar. So why the hell does the less expensive to produce equipment cost as much as the more expensive? Not that it matters. Things are pretty much set in stone so there's not much that we can do about it now... not that we ever really could do anything about it in the first place. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Ahaha, the PS3 controller worth more than a Wiimote? How laughable. Gyroscopes aren't exactly cutting edge or expensive these days, unlike the accelerometer in the Wiimote. Not to mention the fact that the Wiimote has true rumble, a speaker, IR, and built-in memory, if only 6 kb.
Not that you know what the Six Axis CAD price will be, yet, either, the price has only been announced in yen and no one knows if that will roughly translate. And everything I've seen would seem to indicate that the Wiimote + nunchuk CAD price will be closer to $71. Even if the prices you listed are accurate, the 90 more CAD 3 Wii controllers would cost you still kind of pales in comparison to the 380 more CAD the PS3 costs compared to the Wii. Either way, I'm glad I don't live in Canada. As far as the Li-Ion batteries go, I hold them in about the same regard as regular rechargable batteries. They do last longer, but once they do die out they're much more of a hassle to replace. FELIPE NO ![]() Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and the going of Him.

Actually, only the First Person Shooter/Platformers need it, I don't think anything else requires it. This limits it to Zelda and Red Steel and anything else along those lines. Excite Truck doesn't require it, I don't know if Mario Requires it considering that there's a D-Pad on there. And my previous statement stands, the games that need it are, for the most part, single player games. If you're looking for 4 player deathmatch in Red Steel or something, You're on the wrong console. That's in XBox 360 territory.
