like I said, it has been comfirmed that this video is from the past and not future. So yeah I think it will talk about the story of Keyblade, maybe it's because of the keyblade war that in the end only a few chosen one are chosen to wield the keyblade. In a very old interview (that I really can't remember where now) it has been said that SE wanted to make Kingdom hearts is thrid big game series, like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, i'm not sure if it has change, but if it still that, surely someday they will ran out of disney character and world... and why not I would be very happy if someday (maybe KHIII) the disney will disapear from the game (even if that will mean that it's not really a real kingdom hearts game :\) but I think that this game has a really good potential to go "stand-alone" and havea really good story (maybe more serious)

Yes, I suspect that's the past too, since Square-Enix loves to toy around complexity of timeline and making a lot of false hints. Oh yeah, I just noticed that these three armored men look similar to judge from FFXII though I'm not really sure they have role. I wonder if SE will make a super plot twist by bending the storyline, maybe all the events in KH games not even exist? Maybe they're just dream of a young boy named Sora? (Since in KH we talk about paradox of non-existance and numerous false hints)

Well Disney haven't put Scrooge McDuck, and they still have tons of characters too. Don't worry about their stock running out.

You mean they haven't expanded on his story? Because he's in the game...

If we're talking about franchises that have to be done, I'd love to see a game focus on the TV shows that Disney has done (Ducktales, Goof Troop, Talespin, Gargoyles, Rescue Rangers, etc...).

Unfortunately, Disney doesn't seem interested in putting in TV characters into the series. I assume it's because they don't have as worldwide an appeal compared to the shorts and movie characters. Gargoyles and Tale Spin worlds would rock. I'd just LOVE to see Don Karnage in KH! He's my favourite Disney villain or all time.

If they ever did a Jungle Book world (which they probably wouldn't do because it's too similar to Tarzan...), it'd be impossible to do Tale Spin. They can't do "Quack Pack" because Donald and his nephews are completely different. Goof Troop might not work unless Goofy mentions that he has a kid and Pete became better and got a wife...

Ahhh, you have a good point there. Pretty much 97% of their TV shows are based on either a movie or classic characters like Goofy. So from the remaining shows left, there's only...Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, Raw Toonage, Gummi Bears, Bonkers, and the Schnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show. Erm, not much choices, eh? The only one I like in that list is Gargoyles...Darkwing Duck is okay.

I don't count any of the shows they're airing now and for several years, 'cause they all suck : /

I'm happy to have seen Pooh again, but yeah his story is like almost exactly like the first one... and jungle book could be fun too ^^ (but yeah it a little like tarzan)

and am I the only one who would love to see Pocahontas in this game? I think that she could fit perfectly in KH and I can already see like a mini-game of you going down the river to go see Grandmother Willow XD and Governor Ratcliffe would do a perfect villain too XD

I was actually thinking along the same lines. That was a good movie and has some potental for KH IMO.

About that secret video. I read an interview on http://www.kh2.co.uk that the 3 people in the secret video were completely new people. But this makes no sense to me. It's also kind of depressing because I think it would of been much better if it was Sora and his friends.

I really thought it was Sora because the guy in armor holds it exactly like he does in KH II. Then the fact that..

Sora, Riku, and Kairi all wield keyblades in the game.. it makes sense they would wield them again in a KH III all grown up.

Someone please tell me it was translated wrong or something. It's going to really suck if KH III has no Sora. ._.

Nomura has already stated that this ends the "Sora" part of the KH story, so sorry, he wont be the lead character in the next game, if at all.

I just finished the English version tonight.

Since I had already seen the Japanese version of the ending, I was mainly interested in the voice acting for the ending sequences. I found it quite good, and I don't have anything to complain about.

I had planned to level up a bit more before ending the game, but I finished it at about Level 56.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hmm no Sora for KHIII? I was under the impression KHII was going to end in another cliff hanger (haven't completed it yet) with him still searching for Kairi and or Riku haha... I wouldn't mind playing as Riku in the next one.... haha

Btw I hate Atlantica... if they're going to add a music mini-game at least make it good... haha... but since Sora won't be the main character I guess they'll use someone else besides Donald and Goofy as the sidekicks in the next one....

I was looking forward to Atlantica because I was looking forward to the original cast from The Little Mermaid singing the songs. Poor Unfortunate Souls and Part of Your World are nostalgia x10 for me (especially Poor Unfortunate Souls, the way Pat Caroll sings that always cracks me up), so I wouldn't have minded hearing updated versions from the same performers... but Sora singing the entire way through? Agh..! :eyebrow:

Hmm, I didnt noticed anything was horribly off in the music games, I kept getting lots of excellants by relying on my ear moreso than what I see on screen. You usually press it at the end of a phrase or line.

like we said I don't know maybe at least 10 time, the secret video is in the PAST like I doN,t know 100years in the past if not really more. So no it's not sora kairi or riku (they can be ancester thought but I don't know) and when everyone will see the ending, they will all see that it's the end of the story of Sora. What he wanted the most, is return home with Riku and Kairi and that what happen, happy ending everyone is happy ^^ and it's not so hard to make a really good series with different main charater, Onimusha is the perfect exemple, they did a story in 3 games, now they start a new one with anothermain character. So KHIII(if there's one) will be probably a prequel with new character. The only probablem I see with that, is how they will integrate the Disney part in that and wich character will be the "sidekick" of the main character. I don't thik donald and goffy will return in that role. SO we should probably expect something totally new...

I agree completely -- nice to see I'm not alone on this. Sure Swim This Way is a terrible song, but the rest are pretty good, especially Part of Your World.

What about the appearance of another world, different than the ones Sora co. have visited before, but they are in different timeline? Or maybe that scenes doesnt really exist anymore, it exist in the heart of Sora. So we may have chance seeing traveling into his memory or something like that. Who could predict if SE won't another story about reincarnation? What if Sora actually reincarnation of the keyblade maker? or perhaps he's just memory after all?

Well, I expect complicated story with a lot paradox within. I expect something unexpected of course... I don't expect we'll play Sora after watching some stunning FMV... must be a brand new character who relates deeply with him.

Btw I couldnt help but to think they are prototype of FFVII Characters...
Sora = Cloud Strife
Riku = Sephiroth
Kairi = Tifa Lockheart

They can't be prototypes if the FFVII characters predate them.

Sora doesn't have an ounce of Cloud in him, which is a good thing. Kairi as Tifa I can see though, especially with the new hairstyle.

Speaking of which, I just have to toss some theories around based on where I am now, even though most of the people here probably finished.

Just what is going on with Cloud's story? We have Sephiroth making the usual cryptic remakarks about "extinguishing his light" and that "I am you." Then Tifa shows up, Cloud gets a headache (are the two related?) and runs off. And what about the other characters? Are they purposely keeping Tifa out of the loop, or is she choosing to go solo?

I have a feeling I won't get any answers out of this. They'll probably milk the story just so they ring in people again for KH3.

I like how everyone exaggerates about Atlantica. God, stop being so emo and deal with it, it wasn't that bad. It was mildly amusing if anything else. Try listening to some of the awful songs that were created for the awful Disney sequels (especially that new Lost Boys song in Peter Pan 2). I wish they had an FF character sing just so the internet could explode with all the enraged discussions. The only thing I couldn't stomatch was seeing Sora's naked torso again. At least he's been doing sit-ups.

And you can't honestly call the game easy after that Xaldin battle. That guy's insane (and my personally favorite design of the Organization members. It's like General Grievous, only not the movie version). Maybe I'm too low a level to win (32).
