Well, when I was in front of him I immediately told him: "Sir. It is a great pleasure to me you." And he answered with a "Ya damn right it is!".

I completely forgot about a few people.

Adrian and Roko Belic are close family friends of mine. They film documentaries, and have won awards at sundance. You'll see my brother's name in the credits of Genghis Blues.

I met Neil Gaimen in a local comic book store, but didn't know exactly who he was until I started reading the Sandman series. I just thought he was an up-and-coming comic writer who just wrote his first novel. I try to follow the Chicago underground of various types of up-and-coming artists.

I keep forgetting to mention somebody. Oh well. I'll edit this when I remember.

Edit: Got it. Dan Weinberg was the first drummer of the band Kill Hannah. He was a friend of mine, but died of an asthma attack. He died before the band really took off.

I met Sean Connery when I went to visit my aunt in New York. My 4 year old cousin went to school with his grandson. He was pretty nice, albeit a little agitated at having me fawn over him for 5 minutes.

I also met a bunch of NHLers when I was invited to that hockey camp I went to a year or so ago, Mike Fisher, Patrick Lalime, Daniel Briere and Todd White. White is a very angry little man, he was pretty rude to most of the people het met and he spent almost all his time flirting with the councellors. Briere on the other hand was probably one of the friendliest, nicest guys I have ever met. He was nothing but smiles when one of the other kids in the 13 and under part of the camp wanted him to sign 8 different things.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Remember that MTV made boyband called Together or some shit during the later-90s? I was at Disneyland went they just came out and the "bad boy" persona was there with some blond chick.

My friend stalked him on Space Mountain and he got pissed and refused to ride in the same spaceship with us. It was kind of funny watching the chain reaction effect he had, when he was walking through a crowd, literally all (or most) of the girls would stop what they were doing, stoop down low with their friends, exclaim "OMG IS THAT MIKEY" and peer around someone's head to catch a peek.

I got to meet Bruce Campbell at a local college last year when he was a guest speaker. I got his autograph too. He seemed pretty cool.

OK... Where do you live? I think your place holds a decent concentration of "coolness" that we're not accustomed to. Shit... Here in Visalia the only claim to fame that we have is that Kevin Costner went to one of the high schools here.

COSTNER.

Heh, I live in North Orange County. My school district is small and (mostly) rich and safe, so parents like it. Or something.

A few years ago Mark Hamill was shooting a movie about 10 miles from where I lived at the time; I tracked him down and caught him in between scenes. He's extremely funny.

Howard Shore is the other. He's the man. Also last year I went to a John Williams concert but he booked right after the performance so there was no chance of meeting him.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

So I've only met one famous person in my life, and I have a big feeling that no one will believe me because he was in a few movies, but one of the more successful movies of all time.

My mom went to high school with a friend of hers who was into acting, he expanded on his career and he always protected my mom from any asshole who decided to play the wrong game. They were very good friends and of course after high school they barely got to keep in touch. Finally one day the movie "The Matrix" came out and she started screaming when she saw the black guy Dozer. Anthony Ray Parker! Finally after that she emailed him right away and said she couldn't believe seeing him in the movie. I met him in person and I was like "Holy shit!"...His hand made mine look like I haven't worked out ever. And I mean ever. He is MUCH bigger in person. We talked for a lil bit and he left. He actually doesn't like to act much, doesn't like his job but he's a good guy!

George Dub Bush
Bill Clinton
Mike Tyson (at my soup kitchen in my high school, arm wrestled the mofo)
Michael Wilbon (speaked at my high school graduation)
Mike Shinoda (at a Fort Minor concert)
(lol, lots of Mikes)
one of the guys from lostprophets

And also...
Pope John Paul Dos (he gave me bread)
Mya (high school prom.. danced with her)

The only famous people I've met are Maya Angelou and Antwone Fisher.

Maya Angelou was speaking at a local university, and my high school's NHS went to go see her. She was a really great person (definitely funnier than I thought she would be), and I got say hi to her after the show.

Antwone Fisher was a speaker at my college orientation. I had never seen his movie or anything, so I didn't know that much about him, but it was still interesting to hear him speak.

I know Chris Evans (Perfect Score, Not Another Teen Movie.) He dated Jessica Biel. Anyways, his sister is in my grade and went to my high school. I parted with Scott Evans, Chris's brother who's in broadway. Damn, they know how to get crunk...then play amazing pictionary.

I worked backstage as a security guard at the door tha seperated a stairwell, from the lounge and dressing room area for all the presenters and performers at the MMVA's, so I basically met everyone apart of that show, because I had to check everyone's wristbands going in and out the door.

A lot of weird stuff happening back stage, and a lot of booze. It was nice that I got to meet and to talk very briefly to the person I was hoping to see there, Amanda Bynes, woo :P.

When I was I living in Utah a lot of well known fighters used to show up in the gym I used to go to. I got to meet Alex Steibling who at the time was known as the Brazilian Killa because he beat a lot of famous brazilian fighters. I also met Jeremy Horn who is one of the top MMA guys in the world. Josh Burkman and Melvin Melvin Guillard of The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 fame. Also lots of muay thai guys from thailand, but I don't know how to spell their names, but they used to come train with Sakasem who used to be my muay thai trainer, and was the no.2 fighter out of Thailand during his fight days. I have to say, they were all pretty cool guys, funny too.

Every year in October they throw the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta where hot air balloon enthusiasts from all over come out to do their thing. I was there one morning and I see this group of old ladies all gawking and starring like dorks. I'm hanging out waiting for a friend to come out of the bathroom and out of nowhere Henry Winkler walks up to me and strikes a conversation to avoid the creepy old ladies.

I've also met Eddie Furlong from American History X and T2:

Susan Ward who was in Shallow Hal... extremely nice girl.

Andrew Keegan (was in 10 things I Hate About You) and Laura Ramsey (was in Lords of Dogtown and The Real Cancun)

I also met Jamie Pressly on that same movie shoot, but she was in a bitchy mood the day I was going to ask for a pic.

EDIT: oh yeah, I also met Pres Bush too.

I was speaking idiomatically.

He was totally crazy and was into mushrooms and shit. He seemed high every time I talked to him. I met him just before he pulled that stunt with the lobsters. I talked to him quite a bit about a bunch of different stuff, including whether he voted for Arnie for gov, which he didn't.

Shit, mostly professional wrestlers, the most famous of which being Sting, Goldberg, Ric Flair and HHH. I also met the Mexican from Desperado that throws a bunch of knives at Antonio Banderas. And Tito Ortiz from the UFC.

Fuck, I´d love to meet Mark Hamill.
