Well, yes, thinking in that sense could make you depressed. Of course a positive frame of mind needs to be kept, but you shouldn't cloud yourslef from reality.

Happiness doesn't exist to me. It's too much of a far-fetched term that I find to be unbelievable. But, of course, I'm talking about me here. I really don't know what it is. If I get something that I want, am I happy? I don't know. I'm probably just temporarily satisfied and then back to feeling "okay" again. My morale really suffers from the repetition of life I guess. People that are overly optimistic just seem unrealistic to me. As you can see, reality is not a happy setting.

"You never will know happiness until you know pain. "

Happiness, what I think, is achieved when you've experienced the best of the worst...and vise versa. After you've done this, you'll look for your spot that finds your solitude. I agree, you must work for the friends you want...but when you cross them - something is bound to happen. So is it worth to upset what you want?

Money can buy you happiness though. Honestly, I haven't been happier since I bought a sports bike. Why? I like the fact that it's quiet, and puts me 'at one with nature.' It's very calming to me.

There's no definition for happiness because it changes for everyone. Sometimes it's money, other times is being with the ones you love. So I couldn't say what happiness for you is.

I'm far from happy at the moment. What would make me happy is extremely skewed, don't exactly judge me by it please. My definition of happiness is living in Japan and getting married there. SHHH!! I've told NO ONE IRL this cause it's so LAME! Yes, I've been to Japan so this isn't some distant anime obsession. I loved Japan way before I started watching anime, you otakus out there who are inlove with Japan. As for getting married, I don't know. I always thought that was a girl's dream.

The last few years I have been far from happy, so my definition of happiness have been very vague. I believe that money in some ways can by happiness, not one that lasts, but small matrealistic things can give you small rushes of momentary happiness. But in the end happiness that lasts is accomplishde when you feel security, not necessary in a family or a home, but a security in your self, that I am beginning to gain

Currently i'm not as happy as i could be, but I do enjoy life though. School is rather tough, work is boring (most of the time). I enjoy my English 1102 most of all my fall classes this semester. The other teachers are rather too boring to listen to.
