NiGHTS 2.
Saturn Shenmue. Grandia for Sega CD. Air NiGHTS. Black & White for DREAMCAST. Streets of Rage 4. Toejam and Earl III for Dreamcast. Wow. I'd love to see what Grandia looked like on Sega CD, and I wish Streets of Rage 4 didn't even exist. I couldn't even begin to imagine what it would look like in 3D, probably something lame like Bruteforce. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Don't even need to look at the list. The most pained cancelled games of all time for me were: Castlevania Resurection (Dreamcast) Streets of Rage 4 (Dreamcast) and Robotech: Crystal Dreams (N64)
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
The less 3D Castlevania, the better.

Seeing Fear Effect: Inferno on that list makes me cry ;_;. (I'm probably the only one though).
I was speaking idiomatically. |
There was gonna be an XB Sam & Max game? Alright, NOW I'm pissed.
Also, the list of N64 and GCN games is colossal, whereas there are nearly no cancelled SNES games. INTRIGUING. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Kameo: Elements of Power was at one time going to be an N64 game? Oh wow, just how long have they been kicking that one around?
They were going to make another E.T. game, those madmen! I'm glad somebody realized how bad an idea that would be. The very subject ought to be taboo. A lot of other cancelled movie-based games, which is a very good sign. Maybe the execs are starting to wise up. Eyebrow raised at the idea of a Baldur's Gate port for the GBA. I suspect they mean one of the top-down hack-n-slash games that was released on PS2, though. The multiplatoform Sam and Max game was nearly complete, but then Lucasarts canned the project because they didn't want to be bothered to have to market it. I will never but another Lucasarts game again. FELIPE NO ![]() |
Some of the NES games that were cancelled were probably cancelled for a very good reason. Examples?
- Married... with Children - New Kids on the Block - Vanilla Ice ... I can't even imagine what those games would have been like. Possibly like Home Alone on the SNES, but 10 times worse. If this is a complete list, I'm surprised there were no Neo Geo Pocket/Neo Geo Pocket Color games that were cancelled, unless they weren't mentioned (but then again, Wonderswan was on the list). Not that the console lasted long enough for any games to actually be cancelled. What bothered me is Radiant Silvergun on PS One, I don't have a Saturn so I would have enjoyed that release. And as for Capcom Fighting All-Stars, I think it would have been a good game, seeing that Street Fighter EX+ Alpha was fun (for me, at least). What gets to me though is that, instead of something that may have been good, we get Capcom Fighting Evolution. I don't see how that game got released instead. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
They should put Duke Nukem Forever right now in that list. Enough of the urban legends.
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
