[SotW] Song of the Week - WEEK 221 Voting/WEEK 222 Nominating

Congrats, orion! I really wasn't expecting Flower to take the week considering that more subdued tracks typically have trouble taking top spots so kudos to you and Flower!

Different music for different people. I agree it's not mind-blowing, yet I like how it mixes Middle-Eastern and '70s prog rock genres, even emulating the low fidelity recording quality of the era. Not coming from a big name composer or a soundtrack of the year is often more difficult for a song to do good in SotW, but I believe it's the essence of the event and it's worth the risk of nominating underdogs.

Oh, you nominated it, Rimo! This is the first of your nominations that I haven't liked in quite a while. I guess why I'm so critical of it is that I like the idea, I'm just not a fan of the final product. Looks like your risk paid off to some extent at least~
