Pretty good nostalgia pick, since I played that game a bunch back in the day. It was the first SNES title I owned. I've always enjoyed our ReMixes of that theme: Song: 'Sewer Surfin'' (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time) - OverClocked ReMix

No problem, bro, I hope you liked at least one of those OC ReMixes. Now that we have 3 mixes of Sewer Surfin' and none primarily focused on the other themes, the running joke now is "Hey, there are other themes from that game to remix besides "Sewer Surfin'!"

Not that those mixes kill the theme at all (they're all good and the theme's good), but I can't wait to hear someone do a great arrangement of some of the other themes. Not every theme was as top tier as Sewer Surfin', but I don't think I could say there was a bad stage theme in the bunch. If someone did justice to "Neon Night Riders", I'd be a very happy VGM fan.

Port Town is such a fun tune to beat stuff up to. I like how everything sounds so clean despite the limited SNES sound. And the bass line is pretty awesome, too. Now that's been mentioned, it does resemble my previous Savage nomination. I guess I have a thing for weird vocal samples in my vgm. Glad you also liked it, Rimo.

And I would have given at least two points to Gimmick if it was any other track other than Good Weather. The game has much better tracks than this, like Aporia or Strange Memories of Death.

Cooking Mama - Track 2 was about the only track with some personality and charm this week.

Unfortunately, it is mandatory to distribute all six of your allotted points, else none of your votes count.

Though, perhaps you didn't know you have up to six points to award. Well, you do. You may distribute them amongst the nominated tracks as you like, provided two conditions:
  • No track is awarded more than three points.
  • You do not award more than one track a full three points.

Basically, the legal distributions are as follows:

What this boils down to is that each voter winds up offering support to at least three of the tracks. It's impossible to vote for fewer and have your votes count.

Gah, I would've voted but I've been without Internet since Thursday (and still am, logged on at the library atm). That's what I get for always waiting till Sunday.

And I would have given at least two points to Gimmick if it was any other track other than Good Weather. The game has much better tracks than this, like Aporia or Strange Memories of Death.
I believe I also considered nominating Strange Memories of Death (not familiar enough with the track titles to say for sure). I went with Good Weather after it got stuck in my head every day for a week (it's extremely catchy). It's a fun bouncy track that I really enjoy.

Hell nah, I picked the top 4 in a different order, but I loved the placings. That's basically how it should have went, since the rest couldn't hang. You lack the pulse of the people! :-P (I will conveniently abandon said rationale once I vote out of step with any future collective voting.)
