Really, I want to avoid another commotion around this topic. Certainly I also see your point, you're very faithful about the SoTW principle and I think it's good that there's at least a person like you who does not simply see this as a "1 week - 8 tracks (don't care whut)" event.
The truth is I'm a lazy bastard, who won't bother to seep through the huge archive of VGM music and just nominate what's there and is barely eligible based on my current listening preference, whereas others work hard and search and search to come up with new and fresh things to nominate every week.
That's why I'm rather thankful that there is SoTW to keep me connected with VGM, I however feel not like making the extra step to breach deeper into VGM myself just to have more truthful and morally acceptable nominations for SoTW. But I like this event and want to remain participated, mostly through voting. I don't care so much for the nomination scene, which frequency is something I cannot control and so it looks like there's too many doujin arrangements appearing tooi frequently when it's the nomination cue that's not exactly thick.
I really respect the spirit of this contest, so I won't have a problem if there's some kind of official restriction time if you think it concerns an eligible but underhanded, unjust, filthy, immoral nomination. I won't have anything to do anyway, so I can wait.
Everybody should be content. Nagging is forbidden. Every problem should be solved immediately. The SoTW family should reign over the individual. Just spawn some numbers (unit: weeks, months), because I'm very bad at using my own judgements for this. I just see the nomination cue and *bam*, morally questionable nomination to your face. There you go SoTW.
Next time you should nominate a ZTS song with japanese vocals, half the participants will drop dead from massive brain haemorrhages

YES, I already have the perfect track for this.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
