[SotW] Song of the Week - WEEK 105 Voting/WEEK 106 Nominating

I rather like this week. Here's how I voted:

"Bodkin Point" was close to getting a point. I was tempted to give "Mech Break" 2 points but I couldn't pass up equally deserving "Reconciliation".

There's nowhere I can't reach.

EDIT: Devil Crash - 2 pts. - A nice bit of rockin' with good variety.
Bodkin Point - 2 pts. - I like this style of music, so it's a pretty obvious vote.
Battle01 - 1 pt.
Reconciliation - 1 pt. - Nice mood-setting piece that grew on me.

So so week. I didn't care for Staff Roll, Mech Break was OK, and Battle was uninspiring. As for Rain of Blossoms, I love a lot of the Atelier music, but this song didn't grab me for whatever reason. It's grown on me a bit, but still. I guess the really generic-sounding beginning initially turned me off.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks for the votes, everyone. I wasn't initially certain if "Rain of Blossoms" had the goods to go gold but I'm glad it did. Congrats to "Mech Break" and "Battle01" also.

Let's just say it had crossed my mind to nominate it in the past. The 6 battle themes on disc 2 of the Atelier Iris Grand Fantasm OST were some of my favorite tracks from the series.
