The remixed soundtrack is turning out pretty nicely. Heh, loving the Ryu, Ken, and Guile themes. Hopefully a rip or an OST pops up online post release. How ya doing, buddy? |
They're using music from the fans, actually.
GameVideos.com - Super SFII Turbo HD Remix 'Producer Chat' Interview concerning that factoid and more important matters above. I have to be honest... OC Remix? Jesus Christ, no. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
me too,i like remix music are used in producer chat, for me I'll pay to download it in my PS3 or xbox360.I hope also release soundtrack for game.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Looking at those clips from GameVideos and IGN.com. I heard a bit of the new remix music, and imo, it sounds pretty sweet. The theme from Guile stage sounds pretty awesome, so I'm wondering what they'll do to my favorite tunes from Cammy and Ryu's stages. This game is gonna be awesome...
I was speaking idiomatically. |
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Doesn't matter, Dhsu. I've downloaded an entire torrent of work from OC Remix (I noticed you capitalized the "m", good show), but it just doesn't matter because Blood on the Asphalt fucking pales in comparison to most other music the guys at Capcom have access to. My feelings about OC Remix being the equivalent of musical AIDS are pretty irrelevant in this case.

Well, the HD Remix is being handled by Backbone Entertainment, so it seems kind of moot what Capcom has access to. I capitalized the "m" because that's what OCR does to avoid confusion between their material and traditional remixes.
Anyway, for the people who actually like what they've heard so far, here are the tracks I've recognized from the various trailers so far. Sixto Sounds - Made in USA (Ken Stage) zircon - Flying Heaven (Fei Long Stage) Jose the Bronx Rican - Spittin' Narcissism (Vega Stage) I don't recognize the music they're using for Guile and Ryu's themes. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Given that I've made it clear what I think of OC Remix, it's neither here nor there. Point is, I know Backbone has the resources available through Capcom as the company that contracted them to get some material from the Street Fighter II tribute albums... hell, they could have asked Turbo2k for some tribute pieces as far as I'm concerned. At the end of the day, I can pick the original soundtrack or just use custom soundtrack options on the 360 and try to block out the fact that someone just validated OC Remix. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
![]() Not defending - detractors are everywhere - but someone at Capcom obviously liked this stuff well enough to include it, even though you have a right to argue that Cap don't know shinola from that other stuff when it comes to selecting BGM (using Marvel vs. Capcom 2 as exhibit A, although I personally like that soundtrack.) This is just another way they're giving back to the fans... not all of them, obviously. Dhsu: they're also using Jivemaster's "Rock the Asphalt." There's nowhere I can't reach. |
tl;dr = I AM HATING ON OCR. THAT'S IT. THE END. FINISHED. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
