Hmm, I probably should have voted. But these are all good tracks; I couldn't decide. Great week, nevertheless.

Whoops. I knew we had two weeks to vote, but I completely lost track of time and somehow thought this was still week one.

Wow that was unexpected. In retrospect, I'm actually glad Stage 2 beat Terran 3 because that would've meant a game finally had two wins under it's belt and nobody wants that.

As a general rule, I think we should keep voting open until later on Sunday night. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't think of a reason for closing it by 7 / 4 Pacific.

I know, I know, we had plenty of time before this, but still. Might as well keep it open until late night Sunday.

Comments later (after the Super Bowl)?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
Check out my original music at my Soundcloud page!

Latest music rips (updated January 10, 2012):

SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack
Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?

Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

Hey, I voted a while ago, while I was in the hospital no less. I made the effort.

Also, totally stoked that I picked the three winners. Great outcome.

Geez, I can't believe that even Death Wish beat my nom. I mean Over the Frozen Sea (2nd BGM) was fine, but nothing spectacular IMHO. Even Open the World did pretty bad. Oh well, gotta keep trying; lucky that I have chiptune power for my next nom!

How ya doing, buddy?

Once again, it seems my tastes are completely different from most of the other SOTW participants. Over the Frozen Sea was probably my least favorite thing this week, and I went and gave points to the bottom two songs.

Oh Hey... I forgot to vote... and that vote probably would have switched second and third place with my nominations.

Oh well, maybe when I get a tiny bit more time...

Damn, I thought Death Wish had a really good chance at placement. None of the tracks that placed appealed a whole lot to me either. But it gives me an idea about what I could nominate next.

With regards to my current nom, I've switched to track 04, Kyrandia, from the same game about a week ago, so someone should edit the nomination queue to reflect the correct track (research base has it right). kthnxbai.

For all you people who have time to post what you would have voted, don't forget that there's a new SoTW up with a fresh chance to have an impact on the results.

I'm really kicking myself over not voting in this week now that I've actually sat down to listen to it. Jesus, this was a good batch.
