Some group named Ayu made the subs for the version that I watched. I thought that they did an excellent job. I only noticed a few discrepancies that bothered me.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

A link to Ayu's Traumend batch torrent is fine too.

I watched AnimeLito for subs while the show was running, but my archived files are Ayu's, since they used the HDTV widescreen editions instead of the regular broadcasts. And since I watched Ayu's subs of the first season. (Sorry marienkind, wherever you are.)

I was speaking idiomatically.

Hmmm... the first season that I have was subbed really well. I hope I am DLing the right Traumend torrent. Mine says [Ayu]_Rozen_Maiden_02-12[FINAL]

I'm guessing it's fine. Damn slow though. >__>

If it doesn't say traumend in the torrent, and that is what you intend to download, then you are not getting the right torrent.(assuming that is what you are talking about)

BTW, I'll force-seed for ya.

AnimeLito's subs were horrible. chachamaru at start didn't go too well at the beginning but I was able to convince chachamaru to get some quality control people and extra help (he was subbing it alone until the extra staff arrived) After that his subs were done quite nicely. Not to mention he posted at my forum which was great.

Oh and fyi there's been news about a rozen maiden ova.

How ya doing, buddy?

This is obviously an unbiased statement!

Sorry, but I cannot see how chachamaru's Engrish can be considered comparable to AnimeLito's subs, which were at least watchable.

So, any links or information about this supposed news? You didn't provide any, ANN has nothing on it as of now, and Google produced only three results on the first three pages for a returned that even linked "OVA" and "Rozen Maiden", and none of them contained anything even remotely helpful.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Get the torrent that has traumend in the name.
I was kind of confused by that as well, but I figured that what they meant by "final" was that they had completed all subs for the entire season, and so that is the final pack.

I actually preferred chachamaru's subs. Sure, there was some Engrish, but it was still understandable. What I liked about them though, was that each character had their own text color. Shinku had red subs, SuiseiSeki had green, and so on. I thought that was pretty cool...

If there is a season 3, I hope that chachamaru subs it...

I was speaking idiomatically.

About the OVA... i need to dig it up on my forums again...

LOL at Jan. Stupid nut.

But don't worry, you'll enjoy Traumend. It does put a nice tie to some of the issues presented in the first season. Also, the 2nd OP theme is more enjoyable than the first, personally.

There is a large image board for Rozen Maiden here, if anyone doesn't know. I insolently assumed some don't because it's hidden under the Touhou Image Board.

Touhou is a series of games (which I play), so I accidently tripped on Rozen Maiden and remembered seeing some familiar avatars... Apparently, the only connection between Touhou and Rozen Maiden is that the author of the discussion subject is a great fan of the concerned game series.

There is wide range of interesting pictures, I picked a personally amusing one as an example.

May this board be of use for some of you.

I don't know if you've read about this since this thread stopped getting posts, but I did a search and couldn't find anything in here about this.

It seems they are making an OVA which people at a few messageboards are speculating will air in December.

I don't know if you can read Japanese but it basically indicates that it's going to be based on Suigintou. The fact that the German title translates into English as 'Overture' hints fairly strongly at the fact that it's going to be a prequel, which I think will be all about the origins of Suigintou.

I read somewhere else randomly that there were rumblings of another tv series coming after the OVA, but there's nothing other than speculation.

The new OVA (Ouverture) is set this month the 22nd or the 23rd. In the opening, you notice the spotlight is more on Suiginto. ANN doesn't have much info on it. So this means the OVA takes place between Traumend and Ouverture..or what? The animation is a little different but maybe its just the opening. Here's the official site and opening

Yes, Ali-Project sings in this one. Not bad but not better than Traumend's.

Oh, Lord Styphon may be pleased! ^__^

I'm looking forward to it. I found much of Suigintou's role was spotlighted just your regular "bad villian" which was then quickly shifted to Barasuishou for the 2nd season, but it's nice to know more of her and it might reveal some more history, although I'm not too sure how much they can cram into 2 ova episodes.

Joyous news! More Suigintou is always cool, but I get the sinking feeling that while good, this won't be as satisfactory as the third season to wrap up all the loose ends from the end of Traumend :s You can't complain about another Ali Project song though. I wonder if any new dolls will pop up?

There's nowhere I can't reach.
