I thought you were me for a minute there. This would be my top pick. From the moment he does a complete revolution in the revolving doors on his way to work so he ends up outside again, to when he walks into the road and raises his hands as though forcefully stopping the cars. And yes, the music there is amazing. All of it seems to be in that film.


Here's another pick, and it involves great use of music again. It's the Road to Perdition when Tom Hanks guns down the mob in the rain. No voices or sound effects, just beautiful piano driven ambience. Paul Newman stands with his back turned in silence, knowing full well what's to come.
