If people have a problem with Kirby Air Ride's status, a poll can be created. I find it hard to believe the soundtrack has been listened to by more than a small handful of people here.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Fun stuff this week. Nothing that makes me shit my drawers though.

2 pts - Legend of Kyrania - Outside Brandon's Home
2 pts - Anno 1602 - Ballad of Hope
2 pts - WindAge - Oriental Dark Flight

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Heh. Shouldn't GFF have a rule, since it's popular enough, that no nominators should be able to vote that week, or at least some sort of similar rule (e.g no more than 1 point for the song you nominated)? I'd think this place has enough people to vote on songs.

Also, that'd keep a kind of 'rotation system' so the same people aren't nominating or nominating/voting on their own song every week.

But, I'm sure you guys have discussed that already, and it's not the biggest deal in the world I suppose.

On Kirby's Air Ride, very few here have played it or heard the music I would imagine, I agree with Kaleb wholeheartedly.

Not sure I agree that Kirby's Adventure is so well known though- there was a GBA remake which had a good soundtrack in its' own right (way different to the NES version in that the sound quality is much better, although it's the same tracks), and to complicate matters one of the GBA rips (what the guy's handle, Grawl I think) is rubbish. I love the music and would love to see more good tracks made from it (whether remixes or enhancements), since the Kirby OC remix project's Kirby's Adventure tracks are kind of some good, some bad, plus they don't have most of the tracks recorded.
IMO, there's no satisfactory soundtrack out there for the game, and I'm too busy to do it myself.

But, I'm off-topic, sorry guys/gals.

I got here a couple hours too late, but my votes wouldn't have changed the results anyway. For the record, here's what my votes would have been:

2 point(s) :: Lost Files - Mysterious Story of the Island of Souls Part 4
This is probably my favorite track on the album. A great nomination choice; one I was considering myself.

2 point(s) :: ToBi D+VINE Complete Sound Track - Fly! (arranged by Norihiro Furukawa)
Another great track that I've been previously acquainted with.

1 point(s) :: WindAge - Oriental Dark Flight
Never heard this one. Good track. It has a bit of a ZUN vibe to it. Is this by the guy who composed for one of the Thunder Force games?

1 point(s) :: The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang (Game Rip) - Batland Castle
I played this game a couple times before. Not bad, but not worth seeking out, IMO. Also, other than this and a couple other good tracks, the score is underwhelming.

"Satan" bored me to tears. The rest were still nice.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Right on the money with both of those. Tsukumo composed TFV, and this is an arrangement of a ZUN track.

Looks like I missed the voting. Its good to see "Satan" not taking last place. I figured this wouldn't go over well, but didn't really care as I was aming to nominate something I liked, not something that I thought would please the voters. Thanks to everyone that gave it some points.

That said, here are is my better late than never, point spread:

3 Points - Symphonic Suite Dragon Quest Complete CD-Box - Satan (V)

2 Points - WindAge - Oriental Dark Flight

1 Points - Anno 1602 - Ballad of Hope

Runner Up - Lost Files - Mysterious Story of the Island of Souls Part 4

I had the same thoughts for my Space Cowboy track nomination last week. I guess it's just intersting to see how tastes differ. At this point, I can usually tell what kind of track would win. I wanna see a week where the gap between the first place song, and the last place song is actually kinda small. I didn't bother voting this week because none of the songs really stood out for me. None were TERRIBLE, but nothing I really liked much.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I hope someone saved the Solstice mp3. I'd like for it to be hung on to until I get my computer fixed and back so I can save it. Too bad it ended up taking fifth place, though I figured it wouldn't be too popular, as it's not nearly as busy as most chiptunes are, and it's tough for some of those sounds to stand on their own.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Yeah, no problem. Both Kaleb and I keep all SotW tracks that go up for voting, so just hit one of us up when you have the ability to keep the track.

QFT

Can't let 3GB of SotW noms go to waste.

Also, I don't know who did it this week, but the extras folder was in the main music folder. The extras folder should always be in the voting folder.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
