Because Keiji Inafune is a greedy crazy bastard who had the Capcom USA team working on this game ordered to bastardize it.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Whats the difference mainly between X3 SNES and X3 PSX? The only X games I played before the collection was X1 and X4. I think there was a PS2 game that I rented, X7...I then wanted to break it...it was so bad.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The SNES version has a superior heavy metal-like soundtrack. The PSX version has anime cutscenes, a not so great remixed soundtrack which sounds like crap and sound effects that will make you want to mute the TV.

Other than that, its no different game-play wise..

Edit:And the PSX version has an odd glitch with the boss explosions which causes them to repeat in a circular motion towards the end.

Sarmori isn't exaggeration either, the sound effects really do make you want to mute your TV. Especially because you usually keep a charged blast going while you're playing, and the sound effect of that going constantly is enough to make you want to stop playing.

Yeah, the damned charging sfx is louder than the music that's playing in the background.

The PSX soundtrack mangled the first Doppler Stage music.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

You must be out of your mind for not being able to roll your thumb over.

Yeah, they put in the psx version instead of the snes version. The music of the snes is 10x better than the psx version. That's the only complaint I have about the entire collection. As for individual games. The person who designed the last stage of X5 should be kicked in the face. You'll have a hard time without 'speedster' equiped and it's instant death with those lasers. I beat it on my psx version but that was a long time ago and it was difficult too.
The only good thing about this is that the entire collection is on one disc and the load time is really good.

How ya doing, buddy?
