So this is what we end up doing? -_-;; guyinrubbersuit, that thing is huge! O.o

My robot doesn't have arm, so they smash by stomping. Pencil, about 30 minutes

Heh your mechs sort of remind me of Robotech, the form between jet and full blown robot.

Only huge robots can smash humans! The bigger the better! That's why Unicron kicks ass.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Actually, I am waiting to see if anyone else is interested in a topic. Although I think we can move on to other topic if you want to. I am starting a running list on the type of stuff that we have done in here. Would you guys be interested in some sort of drawing from life practice like still life and "draw your room" type of topic?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well, you could just jump in, propose a new topic if you have to, also, "last topic" isn't over yet as long as anyone think it is an interesting idea to draw. So go ahead a draw the idea you think it is interesting. Should I start a list?

I have been thinking about writing something in respond to Scotty's image. I really hasn't come up with anything coherent yet. Although I'll have to say it is interesting to see how efficient a simple composition conveys a scene despite the fact that it is done in MSpaint.

I have been doing some quick sketch of some images of photos that I come across on the Internet, individually all of those doesn't take more then 40 minutes.

Here is an idea, find a couple recognized person's photograph on the net, and then do a series of short sketch between 15 minutes to 40 minutes each to get as much detail and likeness as possible. Or you can just find a photo of someone, or something's face that you find interesting and make a drawing of it. The requirement is that it has to be drawn from a photo.

My scanner broke down a while ago so I took it with a cam.
And since its late I took only about 10 and 7 min on them. No real sence in proportion or much detail but they're recognizable i think ~_~

I bought the one all my artistic friends recommended.
Which is the wacom intous3 6x8" tablet from newegg. So far I'm liking it alot, beats the hell out of drawing with a mouse. My only gripe with it now is its learning curve, though it is only my second day of using it. I think I'm doing ok =p.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I have the same tablet! I love that thing!

That's supposed to be Scott Ian from Anthrax. Took me about 15 minutes to sketch out with pen.

This is Ted Nugent. About 20 minutes with pen.

I don't want to start a new thread for this, so yea.

I drew this in class a few weeks back with ballpoint pen. Off and on for about 30 minutes. Added the tones and colors in Painter (which suddenly shutdown without warning and I had to do it all over again ( ;-;).

No one special. Just some random guy from class. Colors scare me but I wanted to try them out anyway simply because no progress can be made if I never make an attempt.

[edit] I should mention though that this guy is pure white. Almost transparent.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I like drawing. Usually my drawing talent gets underway when i am bored. I usually draw fantasy stuff and fictional stuff like super natural creatures or super natural animals and stuff like that. I also do a lot of symetrical stuff, like shapes and stars and stuff like that.

Oh and my favorite of all is the chinese stuff i do. I always like to draw stuff and fill them with chinese writing. it gives a nice effect.

Great drawing CryHavoc. I like it. I would imagine that person as being some RPG game hero or something like that (I don't know if that IS a game character already...)

Thanks man, no it's not a game character, rather an "un-original" original character, if you will ^_^ .

So Lebanon eh? Where exactly in Lebanon..?

I could very well imagine in him as the bad guy who turns good after a while in the next Final Fantasy or something like that!

Oh and Lebanon is an arabic country on the Mediteranian sea. Here, see for yourself on this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanon

It is everything Wikipedia has to say about Lebanon. enjoy!
