FFVI - Got really far on it, but lost my save file due to corruption. I have picked it up since then, but have yet to find the motivation to play it all the way through.
Dark Chronicle - Got to the last dungeon, but had difficulty beating the enemies, haven't gone back to it since. Galactic Civilizations II - Never really drew me in, had a few games on it, but that was about it. Morrowind - The constant crashing has put me off this one. Might install it one of these days and see about re-playing it Oblivion - Got to the last oblivion gate, but was too weak to get past all the enemies. Started playing it again recently though, so I might get around to doing that final mission. Company of Heroes - crashes during the second mission. Still have to find out what's causing the crashes. Dawn Of War - Never drew me in. Played it for 10 minutes and wasn't interested in it. Halo - Got so far, but got bored of it. Probably more, but that is all I can think of at the minute. Xenosaga 3: I was really enjoying the game, honest! But another game came out that I was really, really looking forward to, so XS3 got put on the back burner.
FF7: Dirge of Cerberus: I had trouble enough wanting to continue playing it, so when XS3 came along it was the perfect excuse to drop it and move on. Okami: This is the game that made me put XS3 on hold. The only reason I haven't beaten it yet is because I'm just not ready to admit that it's almost over. But, that time is nigh approaching. Wild Arms: Alter Code F: Ah, I just couldn't keep playing it. I was almost done too, but I dunno, I just got tired of it. ACF couldn't keep my interest up for very long. Wild Arms 4: Great game, but again something else came along that picqued my interest more than the level WA4 was keeping it at. I also have trouble beating games that I pick up to play through a second time. Of course, at this point any game I play is a time killer for when Rogue Galaxy comes out. I assume I'll have no trouble beating that one. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. I have far too many unfinished games, but it's not something that worries me, despite the expense.
Infact the only game that really bothers me is Viewtful Joe on Gamecube. I think I dropped it shortly after trying to beat Fire Leo. Words were said, and I haven't gone back, yet. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Heh. When I do it, I do it properly...
Xmas 2004 - Brother bought me GTA - Vice City. Never took it out of the packaging. Xmas 2005 - Brother bought me NFS:U2. Never took it out of the packaging. Keep in mind these are two good games, that I was very interested in playing at the time. Why I have never played them yet is just fucking beyond me. ... It probably has something to do with completing the FF series first though... How ya doing, buddy?
Merchant: "You’re that thief, Locke, aren’t you?"
Locke: "Hey! Call me a Treasure Hunter, or I’ll rip your lungs out!" |
Resident Evil 4:
I'm currently on the last island with very low health, ammo and weapons and I am about to enter the labs. It's almost impossible to find useful things and after dying twice, I stopped playing. Someday I'll pick it up again, but I'll probably restart from to better prepare myself for the final bosses. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
My backlog is looking horrible at the moment and with Christmas sales coming up its only going to get worse.

Rydia:
Play Shadow of Destiny--there ARE 5 possible endings, you know..... Anyway..... Games I haven't started: Kingdom Hearts II: I've had it for a while, but I can't stop playing Suikoden V. Final Fantasy IV: I got it with Chrono Trigger in Final Fantasy Chronicles, and I played Chrono Trigger (I had played Chrono Cross, and wanted to see the connections). I've had it for a couple of years now--maybe longer, and I still haven't gotten to it. Games I've halted (but, it doesn't matter--since I replay constantly!): Star Ocean III: I was in the middle of another playthrough to get those trophies, when I got Suikoden V. So, it went on the back burner. Zelda: Majora's Mask: Part of the Collection that came with the GameCube. I was pretty far in it, too, when I got tired of the repetition. Replaying a game is one thing...replaying the game while playing it for the first time is another. So, with that, I move on to: Zelda: Ocarina of Time: I started it, but it's been so long, that I'll probably have to start over to remember where I am and what I'm doing. Ephemeral Fantasia: Remember what I said about Majora's Mask? However, the fast-forward option doesn't help..... But, yeah--I think that's it.... What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
There are many games that I have never completed, but here are the ones which bug me the most:
.hack//Infection: I don't mind this game up to a certain point, and that point is always when I stop playing. I've gotten up to that section of the game about 3 times and have never bothered to go any further. Judging from what I tolerated of the game, I don't really want to finish it. Nor do I want to play it's sequels. Valkyrie Profile( Lenneth): This one's a difficult one to describe. I have my ups and downs with the gameplay of this video game. For me, it's fairly innovative, and having said that, my opinion on it is more a negative one than a positive one. I'm just not a fan of this unique gameplay, however I can see that the game has good graphics, audio and an intriguing storyline. It's unfortunate, but hopefully one day I will find it enjoyable. Breath of Fire & Breath of Fire II: I really enjoy these games but for some reason I never finished them. Unlike the other two games I've listed, I have nothing but positive thoughts concerning this game. I've just got so much "gaming" going on at the moment, and I don't see it settling down any time soon. Meh, like the title of the thread says: "I'll get around to it, I swear!" So much more to choose from, but these are the first (and only ) ones which have popped into my head as of now. An edit may be in store later. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Kingdom Hearts: I'm late I know, but I'm still searching for those damn pieces so I can get my ultimate sword. *pulls out hair*
Shadow of the Colussus: I'm too afraid to fight the flying Colussus. ;( Grandia II: Just too freakin hard for me. Plus it's the PC version so I'm tired of my computer lagging. Tales of Destiny 2: So boring, so I stopped playing it. I don't think I'm going to ever finish it. Paper Mario II: It's like I'm halfway to beating the final boss, but for someone she keeps kicking my butt. Eventually... Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: It's just hard to play by yourself. Why doesn't any of my friends have gameboys!? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Mine are mostly RPGs. Here goes:
Final Fantasy 12 - I'm at the end of what most people call the "dead spot" of the game where nothing happens and most players get bored. If I had trudged through, I would probably still be playing right now, but I just couldn't stand the lack of significant progression in the story. I'm going to force myself to continue it before Christmas Break ends or else I might never pick it up again. Resident Evil 4 - Bought it during Thanksgiving Break 2005 and didn't finish it within that time frame. Didn't pick it up during any other breaks that year and forgot about it over the summer. I picked it up 2 days ago and it was pretty fun so I might finish this some time soon. Chrono Cross - Didn't really hold my interest. I don't think I even remember anything about this game except wanting to get that baby dragon character for no reason; I never got him. Stopped pretty early in the game and will probably have to start over if I decide to pick it up (probably won't). Xenogears - Got stuck on the boss fight where you *spoiler* use Billy's dad's gear as a bullet to shoot the boss. Well, I think it was Billy or whoever it was. Anyway, I tried many times to beat that boss fight and could never do it. Was heavily underleveled. Will probably never finish this game. Suikoden- Played this on an emulator since it's my friend's favorite RPG series, but I couldn't get into it. The reason was probably because I was simply playing it to get a chance to start Suikoden 2. I know they're not totally related, but I felt I had to finish 1 before playing 2. Not sure if I'll ever play this again either. Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Original and DX) - I've started playing this so many times and actually got pretty far in one playthrough. No clue what happened although I think I lost my saved game because it was on an emulator. Didn't feel like starting over so that was it for me. Will most likely finish this in the future, but I'm just not sure when. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Sup GFF faggots, who can't handle shit? |
Mega Man Battle Network 1,2,3,4,5,6: ... never finished it. I am so freaking close getting everything.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: I beat the storyline. Finishing 300 missions sounds ridiculous to get "secret" character which sucks ass. Advance Wars I&II, Dual Strike: Has to be most boring shit ever. At least Fire Emblem wasn't so tactical. Pokemon: Fire Red, Green Leaf, Ruby: I could never finish this game. Np particular reason. Legend Of Zelda: OoT, Majora's Mask: Oh noes, getting every heart piece is annoying. Same with traveling. Breath Of Fire (GBA) I&II: Yawn, annoying battle system. Final Fantasy I&II&III (GBA/DS): Stupid random battles, they are so freaking annoying! Kingdom Hearts I&II: Never got every weapon Star Craft & Brood war: Annoying missions. Countless of them. War Craft III: Just stupid game that I can't bare looking at it. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Star Ocean: Til the End of Time: I pick this game up every now and then, push a little bit further, then put it back on the shelf. In the beginning, I really liked this game, but as I progressed further and further, I started losing interest in the story as it took some strange twists. I do eventually want to finish this game...just not right now.
Xenosaga II: I got this as a Valentine's Day gift from my husband. I started it, but I never got very far. The Xenosaga games feel more like you're watching a movie with a very little interaction than it feels like I'm playing a game. Though, because I hear such good things about the series, this is another I really do want to finish. If only to stop my husband from asking "Whatever happened to that game I got you for Valentine's Day?" Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories: This is one I probably will never finish. I've never been one for card battle-type games, and the added fact that the battles all seem incredibly random really turned me off of this game. Fortunately, there was enough of a recap in the intro to Kingdom Hearts II that I didn't feel like I missed much. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Dragon Quest 8: So Beautiful...but just can't play it....and when I do I get a bad case of Ryoga syndrome and get absolutely nowhere in precedings.
Disgea and Phantom Brave: Grinding issues mostly Psyconaughts: Item Grinding, gawd, it pissed me off in Banjo Kazooie and it pisses me off now. How ya doing, buddy? All I'm saying is that if the laptops of the future are not in the
shape of chibi genie girls then I'm going to be sorely disappointed.
