Has anyone had much luck with the Underground? I've been trying my hand at it, but can't figure the darn thing out. I see yellow dots occasionally, but whenever I get near them, my red dot obscures them and makes it impossible to find anything. =\

Anyone have some tips for this?
Touch the screen. It should reveal them momentarily.

I just tried my luck at catching Pokemon with honey. The waiting game is a bit bothersome.

But it was worth it. I netted myself a Level 7 Heracross on my first go. After checking a chart, the only Pokemon rarer than Heracross is Munchlax, so I did pretty damned good. Gonna have to raise this sucker well.

Crash, how long did you have to stick around for something to show up? I have had zero luck with those, so far.

Touch the screen. It should reveal them momentarily.
Idiot am I!
I forgot completely that this was a DS game for a second. Hello, touchscreen actually having some use!

Is that game completely random with where stuff gets dropped, or is now just a really bad time to be trying it? I'm not finding jack right now. ...Or it's just local wifi.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Any particular tree you got it from? Or was it just random? Out of the trees I have Aipom female, Cherubi female, Combee female, and Burmy female. I need a male Burmy to finish that evolution fork and then Munchlax and Heracross

I was thinking of doing it to every tree I have come by, but some are really out of the way, and I would forget about them anyway.

UPDATE: On the way to getting the famous masterball right now, it's a pretty horrible day today (in real life, not ingame) due to severe thunderstorms and 100% chance of rain for a few hours. Nothing to really do but go forward in the game =p

I have a feeling I will be needing this masterball for something that isn't Palkia -_-

I accidentally found out that if you tap the screen, you emit a sonic ping. This ping allows you to find Treasure spots (The yellow things on the map and Sparkles on the wall) as well as traps(Sparkles on the floor)!

EDIT: ALso aparently, you can voicechat while battling too. Me and Kairyu used the feature alot.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yes I can actually, I have one left if you still need it. Let me know when you're free and we can trade.

Kairyu helped me in fixing my DS connection problem. I don't know if it fixed the problem 100%, but I did successfully manage to connect with him for one battle in which I lost miserably, simply because I had only 3 Pokémon in training. I managed to annihilate Curry and Archer though, before my team finally succumbed.

I just picked up a new teammate today though, and for that, I have a question. How do you evolve Gastly again? >_> I know you have to trade, but I forgot if Gastly evolves to Haunter naturally and then you trade to get Gengar, or if you have to trade twice to get both Haunter and Gengar.

I updated Wiki today with new FCs.

About the Friendship tech thing, I feel stupid now. I sometimes forget that I can touch the bloody screen >_> My Grotle loves me :3

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Gastly turns into Haunter at Lv 25. From then you must trade to turn it into Gengar.

It is sad that Gengar is STILL the strongest ghost type pokemon in the gameeeeee, just because it has insane Sp. Atk and Speed. The physical / special split made it stronger >_>

Although I take that back, it's good to see that despite all the new generations there are still some first gens that can kick your ass

Mismagius comes in a very close second, having higher Def & Sp. Def, but less Sp. Atk and Speed.

(So it's basically the Alakazam and Gardevoir debate, except for Ghosts - and the fact that Gengar is two types while Mismagius is one >_>)

I'm currently on my way to the third gym. I'm pretty happy with my party. I think it's pretty well rounded for early game.

23 Monferno
23 Buizel
23 Luxio
23 Kadabra
20 Stunky

Currently carrying the egg from Hearthome City in my sixth slot. My God I'm addicted to this game.

You can tell what I have been using to get me through the game >_>

Wow Lace's team is a clearly superior version of mine, being clearly inferior:

Kadabra Lv 17
Machop Lv 15
Luxio Lv 15
Staravia Lv 14
Prinplup Lv 16
Geodude Lv 15

Currently at Eterna forest and this feels almost too good to be true since Cheryl is like a portable Pokemon Centre! Gonna level up here, but not too much or my pokemon might ignore me?

Amity Park is highly discriminatory I tell you!!!

My Buizel, Raine, won a bloody CUTE contest with flying colours, yet apparently isn't damn cute enough to enter the park. How is a slightly dim-witted looking duck any cuter than a fun-loving pretty otter who earned top billings in the Visual part of the contest?

BOOOO!!!! >:O

I think that only applies to pokemon you do not own?

Just finished 7th Gym, so my 3-pokemon team of 40s have all gone up to 45+ now.

Back to getting that masterball ~_~

It was the tree directly to the left of Eterna City. After catching the Heracross early in the morning, I slathered the tree again. About 30 minutes ago, I caught another Heracross.

I tried resetting the game to see if that made a difference. It seems that once the game decides what's gonna be in the tree that time, it's set. The level and gender may fluctuate but if it wants you to get a Heracross, you're getting a Heracross.

Regarding the honey trees, I've surmised that the more violently the tree shakes, the rarer the Pokemon inside. So if it's shaking all over the place, your chances of finding a Heracross or Munchlax are good.

If it's not moving at all, congrats: you've got a Wurmple.

Level 30 is the cutoff established after you get the second gym badge, but I could've sworn that restriction only applied to traded Pokemon. :/

I'm steadily nearing the danger zone in any Pokemon Game I play: The casino area. I am so likely to reach the casino area and spend hours playing those fucking games. It stopped my campaign in Gold version and my second Red version campaign cold.

Okay. I went to the Elite Four and Cynthia tonight. It was a pretty awesome battle. It came down to Cynthia's Garchomp against my Empoleon. All our other Pokemon were finished. Cynthia's Garchomp knows Earthquake, but had only 25% life left and Cynthia had already used a Full Restore on it after my Alakazam did some work. My Empoleon knows Brine and had about 80% life left. But the Garchomp's speed was higher, so it got first attack. Naturally, it struck with Earthquake. If my Empoleon fainted, it was game-set-match. If my Empoleon survived, it'd finish off the Garchomp with a powered-up Brine.

Empoleon clung to life with about 15HP left, and counterattacked for the victory. Closest finish I've ever had in the final battle.

My team:
Empoleon - Lvl. 64
Machamp - Lvl. 58
Alakazam - Lvl. 56
Luxray - Lvl. 63
Gengar - Lvl. 55
Staraptor - Lvl. 49

I then went and opened up the National Dex, accessed Pal Park and grabbed my first set of six from Emerald. I'm now finding out what's so darned important in Snowpoint City.

Once Merv gets the wi-fi properties working correctly - or I just go get a wi-fi USB adaptor - I'll post my Friend Code and battle people.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I beat the elite 4 about a week ago, with a stupendously underleveled team. I actually only went in for shits and giggles, but then saved without realizing there wasn't a way out. I decided to fight my way through with the following team:

Gengar 56
Raichu 55
Quagsire 57
Alakazam 53
Infernape 55
Staraptor 55

These are all ending numbers, obviously. The only reason I beat Garchomp was my level 56 Quagsire knowing Blizzard. I unfortunately wasn't planning on going through with it so i didn't buy any revives, and keeping team members alive was at a premium. I won, though. It was pretty epic.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
