My last recent games I've purchased since Digimon World DS are FF III, Naruto Council 2 (I had a gift certificate and there's no other game cheap enough), and Jump Ultimate Superstars.

FFIII is cool, but hard. Naruto was short and easy, but fun. Dragon Ball: AA is a better game though. JUS is cool, and I haven't unlocked anything yet.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I bought 'Gears of War' today for $45 at Circuit City. I'm at the start of the second level. The game is pretty good so far. The game looks great, really makes me wish I had a high definition TV.

My latest purchase, if this counts since it hasn't arrived at the store yet but I have the money down, is Yggdra Union. Tried it on an emulator and was instantly hooked, so I'm awaiting the chance to play it anywhere. I'm also getting Portrait of Ruin soon through GameFly. Last actual purchase was Final Fantasy III on the DS though.

Oh yeah, I'm also saving up to get Jump Ultimate Stars. Sounds like Smash Bros but with characters I actually like. But that will require importing.

Edit: Okay FFIII doesn't count since it's also GameFly rental (thought I bought it for a sec) so the last game I bought was Gears of War. That game's Live play kicks ass.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Bought Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Fucking win. Looks great, controls pretty well, and the voice acting's solid. Plus, love the Ashley Wood (?) cutscenes.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Portable Ops for the win. The very little I have played so far is just wow. I hope developers feel ashamed when they release some of the crap that they do for handheld and consoles when something with this much presentation and production values finds its way out there.

Not even sure why I bought the pouch seeing as my PSP hardly ever goes out with me.

I got 'The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess' for the Gamecube today from Circuit City for $38. I've played three hours of the game so far and I'm loving every minute of it. My 360 is going to get a lot less playing time for a while. I was thinking about waiting to get the game until I get a Wii sometime next year, but I couldn't wait that long to play a new Zelda game.

It's been almost 2 weeks, and I haven't bought any video games. So it was due.

My Wii component cables finally came in, and my BIG DAMN TRUCKS are now BIGGER and DAMNER. <3 But with that, I can finally begin The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and appreciate it more. I even got the Collector's Edition guide... but that plan came to a halt because I also got Elebits. Wow, this game is zany. I just got through the tutorial and the first two levels of it, and it's instantly become my Wii second-favorite of the moment. (BIG DAMN TRUCKS is still on top.)

Because of the additional component cables, I also got an A/V switchbox to use on that and my PS2, which also uses component cables. Ah.... convenient!

I also finally invested in some rechargeable AA batteries, so I got a charger and 8 rechargeable batteries for my Wii-motes. Good stuff. Yay.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've gotten quite a few games since my last post.

Elite Beat Agents: I bought it the day it came out, but I haven't played it, except for one multiplayer session against my sister. it seems pretty good at it, but I'll probably suck at it like I do at most music games (yet I continue to like and buy them).

Bomberman Land: Touch!: Basically the same situation as above. I mainly wanted this for the online portion, but I haven't even tried it out yet.

Final Fantasy III DS: Bought this on Black Friday since it was going for $10 cheaper than the normal price at Game Crazy, but I still haven't played it yet.

Kirby: Squeak Squad: Bought it the day after it came out, and I've already beaten it. Just like NSMB, it's a great game, but way too short.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin: Preordered this game about two weeks before it came out, and got it (along with the preorder bonus) the day it came out. Just started playing it this week, though. So far I'm up to the third portrait, and I'm loving this game! I'm still mixed on whether I like it more than DoS, though.

I also ordered Jump Ultimate Stars, but the bastards at YesAsia fucked up somehow, and I still haven't got it yet, despite ordering it before it even came out in Japan.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I've been feeling sorry for myself this week as I got turned down for a date. Again. So I did what any gamer would do and bought some new games for myself tonight.

Okami
Valkyrie Profile 2
MGS3: Subsistence
Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition

I'm really not sure what to expect from most of these games. I know VP2 and Okami were well received by most people so I can't see any reason why I won't enjoy them. I already own Snake Eater so Subsistence with it's improved camera and Demo Theater is instant win for me. I have heard DMC3 is quite literally impossible but for $20 bucks I thought it would make a good addition to the game collection.

With all the new games I have bought recently I should be well sorted for the next several months. Now I'm going to get a dish of ice cream and play FFXII.

Last week I saw a brand new copy of Alien Hominid for the Gamecube waiting for me at a local Blockbuster. I snatched it at first sight.

I also got Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for the GC, brand new as well.
Now I only need Code Veronica to complete the main RE series!

Elite beat agents (I <3 these types of games)

Kirby Squeak Squad (Haven't had a chance to play it yet)

Magic Star Sign (Standard RPG fanfare, but hey that's not a bad thing)

Yoshi's Island DS (Game = good, but the music/sfx make me wanna cry. Why did they butcher and remove such an awesome sound track? WHY? WHY?)

Castlevania is tomorrow's purchase.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

SInce my last post I've gotten at least a dozen titles that I'm completely unable to list because I'm far too tired at this hour to bother remembering.

However, yesterday I got Every Extend Extra, because Q?, and because I'm a whore for that sort of shit. Very fun, of course, but damn if the learning curve isn't rough as fuck.

Then again, maybe I'm just AWFUL.

^ Seconded. Nemesis on the cube? Really?

My recent purchases include:

Twilight Princess: For the GameCube. See, I bought a Cube for the sole purpose of playing Twilight Princess, so when they delayed it for the Wii, I was not to be dissuaded from my purpose, so I did indeed buy it for the Cube. I'm enjoying it thus far, nothing quite astonishing! But good zelda fan-service.

Shadow Hearts 2: I've heard many good things about this series, and this was the one that I heard got a lot of good words. This game will be my introductin to the series and I am well looking forward to playing this game, however it is in the queue. Got it for 27 dollars at gamestop.

FFXII: Well only a little persuading got me to purchase this game, and I like it. No random encounters, what a refreshing change! This game is long too. I'm playing this, TP and my last recent purchase...

ICO: I'm only about an hour in, but I like it! It is refreshing for what it is. I will be aiming to finish this before I finish TP and FFXII, most likely. But we'll see how those puzzles treat me. I'm already temporarily stumped. I went out and bought this thanks to the ICO Appreciation thread in the Sony Forum, so I can thank those guys for admiring it. Picked it up for $10 from GameCrazy, a local gamestore.

All these games should have me occupied for at least 2 months.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

A week ago or so I bought Cybernator for the SNES. It's a Metroid style side scroller from Konami with robots. It's pretty awesome.

Then I bought Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen for the PSX and Omikron the Nomad Soul for the DC. Blood Omen is pretty damn rad. Great art direction, engaging characters but horrible, horrible load times. It loads anytime you go to a new area or open up a new screen for whatever reason.

Omikron is an adventure game from Quantic Dream (Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy) though I haven't gotten that far into it. The graphics are shit, and the controls are a bit meh. The story, I'm not entirely sure what is going on but I'll probably play more to see what happens.

Not exactly a purchase, more like a recent gift....

Yoshi Island DS - The game is great so far. The graphics are superb, the stages are long as hell. T_T

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin - Got this for someone, it was a used game, so the package was already open... I tried it myself... I know, i'm an ass... Anyway, it's pretty good. I like it so far. I'm not crazy for the Castlevania series, but hell, it's still good.

Just got Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Eternal Darkness for GCN. I got Hulk because it seemed like one of those games to play just for messing around, and ED for the high praises for its story. Both are 2nd hand and $25 CDN, not so cheap, but I guess it's worth it for these rather uncommom/rare games. Hulk is in poor condition, but at least it plays fine. Yay, my search for those awsome rare GCN games (Ikaruga, ED) is complete!

I got Castlevania: PoR as a special Christmas present for myself, since I'm only getting one present this year. I'm currently at the part where you fight Death. Great game so far.

I had Portrait of Ruin as well.
Horrendously fun, but the downside is that for an addicting game, it's rather short. I played for hours straight in such a short time, but I'd almost gotten 1000% within 2 days (or maybe I play too much)! If they made a 3rd DS Castlevania in this style with double/triple the length then it would be a perfect one.

Just got:
Kirby Squeak Squad - It's cute, kiddy, fun and all, and I sadly have the feeling that I'll be able to beat this today after playing to mid 2nd world within a couple of minutes yesterday. More of an impulse buy, but I had to see what kinds of new Kirby powers there were for myself.

As a gift:
Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception - Didn't have a chance to play it yet, but will soon.

I'll probably score FFXIICE/Elite Beat Agents/Gunpey DS with my trade in credit soon.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Honestly, most of the new powers sucked to me. I actually thought the improvements they made to the old powers were better than any of the new ones (and props for bringing back Laser, which was my favorite power back in the NES days). The only new one I really liked was Ghost, but you get it so late in the game that it doesn't even matter.
