How the hell are you guys still playing this? I'm only lvl 22 and I'm sick to fucking death of these levels. Moatoob isn't out, but it's only going to slightly delay the inevitable: boredom. Don't ask me how I never got bored with PSO, I guess it's because it was a simple game and really laid back. I think PSU's complexity mixed with repetitive levels just don't go together well. Here's to hoping they can somehow release updates with new maps/stages that PS2 can play without releasing a $20 expansion pack, because I really don't want to quit a game I waited 1 1/2 - 2 years for.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Pure willpower.

That and I never delved too much into PSO or BB so I can't possibly get bored of this.

PSO had more items to get earlier on. It was nice having two characters at level 30 (and that took a decent amount of time to get there) and NOT having the same items.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Restarted my Ranger after noticing Daravon was making pure Range PM, so I can go for a pure Armor PM.

My GH-440 will be ready for maximum armor synthesis (which seems to be 70% apparently, from reading around) and battle in one week.

Oh my Gooooooood stop restarting Lacerta!

Anyway, I plan on creating 4 accts with a different PM for each, so don't make any plans based on that. Plus I plan on using Parn over at PSOW for any armorsmithing up to that point anyway.

Well 90% of the players quit on us, so it's not like anyone is going to be angry that I'm behind if I restart anyway.

Besides I never said I was going to be synthing for YOU >:O

I'm doing this mainly to get GH-440.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Also, the grind is repetitive...broke a weapon on a +5 grinder, lame.

I hear you there... I'm up to 35, but my friends are 40+ and counting if they're still playing. I need more new content to sustain me though. Make it happen Sonic Team

lol just grind it out guys... JP servers didn't have new content until 1 month later but their update took longer to come because they had a lot of server issues. We don't have the issues but atleast we didn't have to bear the same shitty servers as the JP players did.

Anyways it may be possible content update is this week. Clumsy said soon so here's hoping.

I guess I'll be behind a day or two, but getting some shut eye is well worth it, in my opinion.

I just purchased this game but I can't even play it. Everytime I start it the thing instantly exits. Usually right before this Gameguard thing is supose to start. Is there any way to bypass it or figure out what's causing this problem?

I tried turning off every misc process that could be running in the background and it still does it. All I want to do is play the damn story mode. I'm not going online yet so why is it bothering me with Gameguard.

I am planning on going online when I have the money in a few days but if it isn't even working for Story Mode I dont see how I'll ever get online.

Check your anti-virus. I had to uninstall NOD32 and use AVG Free because of conflicts.

Phantasy Star Universe's DLC Detailed
1UP and Sega partner to bring details on PSU's upcoming content.
by James Mielke, 11/15/2006

With the release of Phantasy Star Universe for PS2, PC and Xbox 360 this past month, Sega's revived the sleepy Phantasy Star online community with the latest iteration of its online role-playing game. Since a lot of players have already hit the level cap or are at least getting very close to it, eyes are now turning to the monthly content updates Sega and Sonic Team promised gamers since online play was first announced.
In the first of what will surely be dozens and dozens of updates, 1UP has teamed up with Sega to be your official source for Phantasy Star Universe news, at least one to two days before the information even shows up on Sega's own website. PSU players who want not only the freshest news about their favorite online game, but also that competitive edge, will want to keep their eyes on 1UP.com for the latest info and happenings about Sonic Team's latest online effort.

So what's in store for the first major content addition since PSU went live? Plenty! Here are the official details, direct from Sega.

Moatoob: Access Granted!
Due to increased guerilla fighting between rogue groups on Moatoob, GUARDIAN forces have had limited access to the planet. With the escalating SEED crisis currently affecting more and more of the Moatoob wildlife, rogue groups have reached a cease fire and are now requesting aid. Flyer routes to Moatoob have been re-secured for GUARDIAN missions and will be available on November 17.

New Guardian Missions Since the SEED attacks, the native life of all three planets has grown increasingly aggressive and Moatoob is not the only planet in need of GUARDIAN assistance. Parum and Neudaiz are also requesting additional support in a variety of new missions. All GUARDIANS are expected to launch an offensive on the incoming enemy hordes as soon as possible.

System Defense There's been an outbreak of vicious creatures near the confinement system in West Kugu Desert. The Alliance Military is requesting help.

Mine Defense
An outbreak of violent creatures near the entrance of a prominent mine has put miners at risk. Exterminate the creatures and defend the mine!

Valley of Carnage
Recently, the vicious Vanda have been forming packs and causing great damage around the Galenigare Canyon. Defeat the Vanda leader!

Desert Terror
In the West Kugu Desert, the vicious Dimmagolus has become even more ferocious due to the SEED and is terrorizing a nearby energy plant.

Parum and Neudaiz
Not to be left out with the addition of Moatoob, both Parum and Neudaiz have new missions for GUARDIANS. On Parum, new reports have come in of a very large Koltova spotted beyond the Lakeshore area. All GUARDIAN parties should exercise extreme caution if this beast is encountered.

On Neudaiz, an area of Sacred Ground is in jeopardy! All GUARDIANS are requested to assist in clearing a dangerous RELIC site. This dangerous mission will take a strong party with excellent teamwork. We advise that only the strongest of GUARDIANS attempt this challenge.

....so there you have it. The full details about what to expect in terms of missions and new areas. With the areas come new drops and items and materials which can be used with your partner machinery to craft new weapons and medicines. Stay tuned for more details in the upcoming months as we ramp up our PSU coverage. For more details check out Sega's Phantasy Star Universe website, but keep checking back on 1UP for the newest information, and for other PSU-related stories we have planned.
Moatoob opens up this thursday
And a few quests to be available for Neudaiz and Parum as well.

How ya doing, buddy?
