What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
But it's incredibly easy to get audio of the president, and you could just fake another voice for Henderson. FELIPE NO |
Hey guys, we're special, as Fox it letting us help choose DVD covers! Just take the survey here.
I chose the first one, because it uses the logo that matches all the other seasons, and it's all over black, which makes it somewhat different than the other seasons. I didn't like the two that didn't use the circle logo, because they didn't really match the other DVD sets, and I didn't choose the other two because the color schemes were a little too close to the season 4 set. The choice was a little bit harder in whether or not I wanted thinpaks or not. On the one hand, I want it to match the other sets, but on the other, I like the thinpak format better overall. Ultimately I chose to keep it the same, just so all the seasons could be uniform (except season 1, which will always be smaller). What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
I already voted for the first one since it reflects the premise of the entire season, in that very image.
I voted digipacks for continuity purposes. They should use the thinpacks for Season 6 on up, as 24 isn't the same with all the people Jack knows or love dead or gone. So everything, including the packaging, should change with the show starting next season. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

OH SNAP HELLER
Wow, I kinda sorta respect him for doing what he did there... he's almost like the new Sean Astin, except for the part where he didn't save everbody's life. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Okay, I know Heller wasn't at his best last week, but his death was pretty stupid. I mean, he didn't even try to evade them or anything. The three minutes weren't up yet, so he could have done something to try and escape them.
Why is it that once again everything comes down to an audio recording? 'Sup Paul McCrane. Instead of making Chloe run, why not just tell the tac team to step down? I'm glad to see Karen Hayes is realizing the truth, but she's doing it in a stupid way. 'Sup Curtis. I fucking Lol'd when Audrey was all like "KILL HIM JACK!". I don't know, but the way she said it was extremely funny. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
Thoughts:
-Curtis is missing for two episodes, and comes back for two minutes. <sigh> -Bierko...I forgot all about him... -For some reason, I don't think Heller is dead. He probably faked his death like he faked his heart attack last season. HA! But then again, Martha's assistant and daughter... -Jack sneaking onboard a LEVEL 8 SECURITY carrier. Man, he's better than all the GTA protagonists combined! ![]() -I like how they explained why Henderson didn't destroy the recording, tying it to Walt Cummings' suicide and knowing his and Logan's place. -Well, Aaron's not dead. I hope. I liked the scene between Logan and Martha. Very intense. Both deserve awards dammit. -Chloe ordering Bill around, trying not but somewhat failing to emasculate him while doing so AND while apologizing! She owns! -Who was that person Logan talking to, and his people? Are they part of the Sentox placement or the oil plans or what? Or was that even revealed yet? I wasn't paying attention... -Miles...why is that name so vile? ![]() How ya doing, buddy? ![]()

Jack sneaking onto the plane was the goofiest thing ever. He's already dressed like the Unabomber, and then he grabs a couple of pieces of luggage. What's he trying to do, disguise himself as a suitcase?
Also, Jack Bauer + helicopter + Paul McCrane = VICTORY. Most amazing jew boots |
I just remembered that Paul McCrane was the dude who shot of Murphy's arm in Robocop! Along with himself, Robocop and V.P. Gardner are reunited together again lol. Not to mention Samwise and that doctor on Virtuosity (Miles). Great casting this season!

IT'S BEEN A STRANGE NIGHT. IT'S BEEN A STRANGE NIGHT. IT'S BEEN A STRANGE NIGHT. IT'S BEEN A STRANGE NIGHT. IT'S BEEN A STRANGE NIGHT. Novick wins. How ya doing, buddy? |
I've never seen Robocop, so I'll always just remember McCrane as Dr. Romano from ER, who got his arm chopped off...by a helicopter. He later died...by a helicopter. Something better happen to him on 24...involving a helicopter.

Hmm, looks like the "Patriots" (La Li Lu Le Lo?), have some sort of commanding role in all this. Kinda wish they'd clear up the situation Martha's assistant and daughter (who I'm sure are dead, but some clarification would be great). Aaron's mysterious disappearance, Novak who appears to be in his office or something just thinking about (more mystery). And Heller, he could have survived that I'd think, just gotta swim out of it.
And Jack sneaking onto the plan, haha, kinda ridiculous that no one noticed him. Oh well, still can't wait to see what happens next week. Especially to find out what exactly the outside group (the "Patriots") contacting Logan are plotting. Oh and to see what they're going to do with Bierko and Henderson. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Heller must live to be President next season, though I doubt it due to his involvement with other series. (Curses!)
However, the favorite part of this last episode was the revelation that Walt Cummings did not kill himself. Nice touch there. FELIPE NO |
Heller was one of my favorite characters from Season 4, and I was glad to see him come back to the show. As for his "death", I don't believe he is dead either. I've learned that if I do not see them actually die, then I cannot assume them dead. He probably pulled the trick from the "007 A View to A Kill" where Bond used the air from the tires to stay alive until Mayday and Zorin left the scene,

Wait...Henderson is Robocop? O... M... G... This changes everything! It also makes much more sense of this:

I also totally called Cummings not having kill himself back when it happened, but none of my friends remembered it. ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. |
For some reason I keep thinking that Spoiler:
How ya doing, buddy? |
Hmmm, don't know who Raiden would be, but Henderson must be Liquid/Ocelot and Chloe = Otacon + Mei Ling. Maybe Buchanan is Colonel Campbell.

Wayne was/is Raiden.

Great episode. I wasn't sure if Kim Raver's performance as Audrey was funny or excellent. Probably both. I laughed when she babbled "stop, shut up" hysterically, but it seemed convincing enough, and Audrey is normally very calm so it'd be difficult to make her "lose it" convincingly.
Martha vs Charles was great. I cheered a little. Now the president's stress level must be at its peak. ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
