gee whiz thanks for that input i havent heard that response like 30,000 times before lolz.
J/K MAN. J/K. That folder support option kicks all sorts of ass. I've been itching for a way to accomplish this. I really want to know if you will be able to also do this with your buddy list as well (like setting up groups, or something). I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I just played Dynasty Warriors: Gundam and Super Stardust HD. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam was mildly fun because I'm going through a hard time right now and destroying as much as I can makes me feel better as a person. When I got Game Over fighting Zechs though, I didn't bother going back to try again. Other than that, like SouthJag, this might be a good novelty buy or something to do when you're bored. I might go back and play it later tonight if I get bored. Highly unlikely though, since... I bought Super Stardust HD, and Geometry Wars clones get me every time. Although it may be unfair to call this a Geometry Wars clone because it's actually fairly unique. And very fun, like Blast Factor. They got it right and added Multiplayer Co-op off the bat on this one. As for the gameplay on this one, its similar to GW and Blast Factor: Left Analog to move, Right Analog to shoot. L1 and R1 cycle through your weapons, since you have more than one, and L2 and R2 Boost and Bomb respectively. There are Gold, Rock, and Ice asteroids and appropriate weapons to destroy them with. My one strife is that it's kind of hard to differentiate the different types of asteroid since Gold and Rock kind of look the same to me. From the other side of the planet, Ice looks like Ice but by the time I get to it, I'm not too sure. So I just blast everything with the Rock Blaster. It's worked fairly well for me so far. In addition to blasting asteroids out of your planetspace, when you blast enough chunks of stuff, they throw a certain amount of alien enemies at you during the level and this is where it starts to resemble Geometry Wars. At first they only appear at the end of the level, but after 1:1 (First Planet, First Phase), they start to appear at various times during the level to annoy the shit out of you, and that's not a bad thing. They're easily disposed of but it does get tricky when you're dodging asteroids and you've got alien scum all up your ass. If you like Geometry Wars and Blast Factor, $7.99 ($8.65 after tax) is a nice amount for this game. And you don't even have to buy a Multiplayer Pack in a couple of months. Unless, of course, they decide to add online Co-Op, in which case I won't complain. Most amazing jew boots |
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
It sais that you don't eat enough chicken and that you need to eat more to continue.
Either that or it's in Japanese, lol. Man this reminds me of the frustrating times of the FolkSoul demo. FELIPE NO |
There hasn't been any good free stuff in the PS3 Network Shop for quite a lot of time, that really sucks
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |

@Musharraf
I don't think they really want to fill up the PSN right now because they're working on a whole new PSN interface to be launched some time after E3. However if this trend continues after the new PSN, by all means go rip them a new one. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Anyone run out and grab Ninja Gaiden Sigma yet?
I did, and it's awesome. You're given the option to install to the HDD, which I did, but it takes about 13 minutes, so find somethin' else to do. The game rocks though -- anyone whose played the demo will find some familiarity. Spoiler:
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? Reading -- Bleach, Claymore, Chun Rhang Yhur Jhun, NOW, Zero: Beginning of the Coffin, Black God, Twelve Kingdoms (novels), History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Watching -- Bleach Playing -- Fable II, Valkyria Chronicles, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Star Ocean: First Departure, LittleBigPlanet, MegaMan 9, Mirror's Edge |
Nope, that's Ryu's normal training costume and is the same costume he wore in Ninja Gaidens 1 - 3 on the NES/SNES. Then after you go through the village you get his new costume.
And yes I did pick the game up and it's bloody amazing. Though it is a LOT more goreyer then it's ever been before. Doesn't bother me but be prepaired to get your clothes stained. How ya doing, buddy? |
BTW, did you see any weird horizontal lines as you were playing the first 2 chapters (at the village)? Cause I had those and they were really annoying, same thing happend during the demo too. Luckily I haven't seen anymore of them popping up after chap 2 though. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I've seen a couple horizontal tears in the images but they're like quick things that happens once in a blue moon so it's all good.
As for the Demo related content I was sure that you got extra gold and stuff for when you played the full version. Hmmm... I'm gonna look into this. "If you're considering getting the full version of the game later this month when it comes out on retail, all of your time spent on the demo will be rewarded. Team Ninja and Tecmo have announced that the full version of the game will be able to feed off of your playtime on the demo. The more you play the demo, the more Yellow Essence you get when you start the game." -QJ.net FELIPE NO |
Quick question for the game installation method. What's to stop me from renting this game and installing it? I assume you need to have a copy of the disc in to load up the game?
Most amazing jew boots |
You need the disc to Authenticate the game. Without that the game doesn't boot. Ridge Racer 7 works the same way. As does Obilion and Virtua Fighter 5.

Heavenly Sword Demo Very Soon
I assume that this will come out during E3, along with the Lair demo that was announced to "arrive in July." It would make most sense, wouldn't it? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Yeah it would make sense, along with the additions of PS3 exclusive game trailers that we'd espect to be on the PSN already.
Of course all of this is Sony's answer to MS's E3 at home thing. [DOUBLE POST] My god man. Sony may have screwed up on their retail launch window games, however the same can NOT be said for their original PSN titles. This is one thing that Sony has done WAY more then anyone esle in. Anyhow without delay. Out with Stardust HD and in with Nucleus. That's right. A top down shooter game ala GeometryWars or Super Stardust HD, EXCEPT it's all bio creatures and you use your surroundings to create barriers and other tactical advantages. Looks pretty sweet. SD Trailer -> http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21261.html HD Trailer -> http://www.gametrailers.com/player/21260.html This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
A small step in the right direction for Sony. Now all they need to do is drop that price by a hundred more dollars, AND bring back the 20 GB version for 299$. Maybe then they won't come out as the biggest failure this generation. Also, 'work hard, play harder,' that's a good one I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? Nothing wrong with not being strong
Nothing says we need to beat what's wrong Nothing manmade remains made long That's a debt we can't back out of |
First off this is just an E3 time deal, nothing permanent. 07/15 - 07/21
However something is better then nothing, and thoes who wanted it to just be $100 cheaer now have their chance. I was speaking idiomatically. |

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Oh ho, I knew something was coming soon. Because I'm very magic. Also because Sony just recently started offering both MotorStorm and Resistance for free with the purchase of a PS3 here. But then we are being charged $850 US for the system. So there had to be more exciting things planned somewhere else.
FELIPE NO |
I wish I wasn't saying what I'm about to, however it is the truth.
Your link there just sais that the price cut is NOT limited to Circuit City. It doesn't disprove that it IS for a limited time. Also, look below; This could all change, however as it stands now this is the case until Sony elaborates on the pricing plans or if the price change remains after the final day. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Well that could be like when stores try and advertise PS2 games that have just been re-released as Platinum/Greatest Hits.
"KINGDOM HEARTS 2! ONLY $30! WAS $100! LIMITED TIME ONLY!" And they'll print it in the catalogue using the original box art so people are like "holy fuck that's cheap better go get it before the sale's over" so they rush down to the store, kick down the doors, kick down the sales staff, only to find the game sitting there in its new budget box art. "BUT THIS IS THE NORMAL PRICE" "No no, limited time!" So they'll kick some soccer balls in the sporting department with fury. How ya doing, buddy? |
Do I really need to define 'industrial wide price-cut' as opposed to 'industrial wide sale'? Also advertised prices apply to the entire magazine. Nowhere does it state directly under the PS3 'for limited time only' There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Alright then. I just wanted to poke at any holes in it because I know if I took that information and told someone else that they'd try to point out the same flaws so thanks for the concrete explanation. ^^
Sometimes it's good to be wrong... this is one of them. (Though I already spent $650CAD for mine, oh well VF5 was worth it) This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
But yes, you are correct to keep mind that nothing official has been released by Sony yet. We'll have to wait until E3 to see if an official announcement is made. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
