Boy I love it when a studio decides to put a bunch of its titles on sale! This time it was Warner Bros., who had a lot of titles on sale for less than $20.

First up is Entourage: The Complete First Season. Never seen the show before (don't have HBO, so all of their shows that I've seen have been on DVD, the only other show being Curb Your Enthusiasm), but it sounds good from what I've heard about it. And for the price, it's not like I'll be out a lot if I don't like it (though for the record, I've bought a lot of shows I've never seen before on DVD, and I've liked every one of them so far).

Next is Gilmore Girls: The Complete Fourth Season and The Complete Fifth Season. I already have the first three seasons on DVD (which I also bought during a sale like this), so getting these two sets was a no brainer. Now I just need to actually find the time to sit down and watch all these (I've never seen the show straight through from the beginning, which is why I've been getting the DVDs).

Finally, I bought Nip/Tuck: The Complete First Season and The Complete Second Season. I remember watching this show when it first came on, but even though it was interesting, I could never completely get into it due to other outside factors (missing some scenes or entire episodes). Now that I have it on DVD and can watch it on my own time, I should be able to really get in to it.

My DVD shelf weeps ;_;

EDIT: Oh, I forgot that I also bought Storm of the Century for $5 at Wal-Mart. I love that mini-series, so I didn't hesitate to get it for that cheap.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Just bought mc chris' latest album off Itunes. My first itunes purchase ever, and probably the last. The album isn't great, but its not bad, so no complaints on that.

Went to the horror convention last weekend..picked up a couple bootlegs.

Hell Goes To Frogtown, starring Rowdy Roddy Piper as Sam Hell. Hilarious b-movie about Roddy Piper being one of the only men on earth that can still get women pregnant. Heh.

Decoys. Another b-movie filled with cliches, nudity, and alien women that rape men and use them to hatch children. So bad its good.

Puffy AmiYumi - Splurge
Saw them in concert a whiles back, and picked this up before it was released..pretty good stuff.

Doctor Who: 2006. All thirteen episodes of the latest season for fifteen bucks.Love bootleg vendors.

Annnd that's it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I just picked up My Name Is Earl Season One: Good Karma Deluxe DVD Set today. I've never even seen thre show, but I had a coupon for $5 off coupon for it that came with my Prison Break set, and I had a $20 gift certificate for Best Buy, so I only had to pay $8 for it. I've heard good things about it, so I figured it was worth it.

The version I got is pretty spiffy, too. The outside box is windowed, which shows the special flannel shirt covering that goes over the regular set. Inside the box was a Best Buy exclusive bonus disc along with the regular set and flannel covering. I almost didn't get it at first, because I'm not really much into special packaging (mainly because it takes up more shelf space, which I'm having problems with at the moment), but I figured I would since it cost the same price as the regualar set, and it was the only way to get the bonus disc. Overall, I definitely don't regret getting it, as I think it's pretty cool.

I got this:

Every Godzilla and/or monster fan should buy this immediately. The packaging is very nice, complete with awesome holofoil. This is the first time the movie has come out here in the original Japanese language, so what are you waiting for?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I bought Sunseth Midnight's debut album.

They are here from Brazil and play great 'glam' gothic rock/metal with H.I.M., The 69 Eyes, Charon, Poisonblack and 80s pop influences. Great band, recommended

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This past weekend I picked up Aeon Flux on DVD, the movie not the show, for $10. I didn't see the movie in theaters. It got a lot of negative press and reviews. I hope it's not as bad as people say. A lot of DVD review sites say that the DVD is strong, a lot of good extra features. I'll watch the movie tomorrow.

I bought a few of the Buffy seasons on VHS they were only £0.99 so I was like "I'm having those." I got Season 7, half of Season 6 and half of Season 5, so I've nearly got all of them now.

Recently I have bought:
X-Men 3: The Last Stand ~ I have the first two on DVD and I had to complete my collection with this. Quite enjoyed the first two and heard mixed reviews about this one, so I guess I'll make up mind when I get around to watching it.

House - Season 1 ~ I caught a few episodes on TV recently, and really enjoyed them, so I went out and bought this. Got it on sale as well, so yay for me.

I bought quite a few things yesterday.

First off, I bought Arrested Development: Seasons 1-3 at Circuit City for $18 each. I've always wanted to see this show from the beginning (since I've only seen one episode from like the middle of season 2 that made no sense to me), so with all the seasons going for this cheap, I couldn't pass this up.

Second, I bought Brotherhood: The Complete First Season at Wal-Mart for $20. I rewally had no intentions of getting this, but I saw it selling for that cheap, and thought that it was pretty good for a newly released TV DVD set. I have heard good things about it though, so it wasn't a totally random buy.

And finally, I bought Murder One: The Complete First Season, also at Wal-Mart for $20. I had heard good things about this show, I had just never bought it because it was always like $40 or more. I was surprised to see it selling for half that, so I quickly snatched it up. Also, the box tells me I'll like it, since it says that if I love 24, I won't want to miss a minute of Murder One ()!

I recently bought Firday the 13th parts 1 thru 5, part 7, and part 8. I already had parts 6, 9 and Jason Vs. Freddy.

I bought Season 2 Volume 2 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, to complete the 4 volume set.

I also bought X-men 1.5, X2: X-Men United, X-Men 3: The Last Stand, and The Little Mermaid, The Stephen King Collection (which includes The Dead Zone, Pet Semetary, Silver Bullet, Graveyard Shift), and The Lake House.

I bought an old 1976 movie, Squirm (about worms coming up from the ground to kill after fallen electrical wires touch the ground.)

I also bought Futurama: Monster Robot Maniac Fun Collection to complete my Futurama DVD collection.

I recently also bought Arrested Development Season 3, The Dead Zone Season 4.

I bought for my father Smallville Season 5.

I bought The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Army of Darkness, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Aprt Pupil, Storm of the Century.

Next up I need to get the season 2 volume 2 of Thundercats.

I picked up "Millennium Actress" a few weeks ago. I love what they did with the film. It's very unique. I also picked up "Perfect Blue" on DVD shortly afterwards.

Damn Wal-Mart. I didn't even plan on buying any DVDs this week, but they had some good deals that I couldn't pass up.

First off, I got Smallville: The Complete Fourth Season for $15! I ususally see this going for around $40 or so, and even on sale I haven't seen it for less than $30 or so, so needless to say, I was really surprised to see this for that cheap of a price. I probably won't watch it anytime soon (still watching The Pretender at the moment, and planned on starting Arrested Development soon), but it's nice to have it for whenever I decide too.

Next, I got Oz: The Complete First Season for $15 as well! The cheapest I had seen this going for was $50, so of course I picked this up too when I saw it for that price. I was kinda holding out in hopes that they would release a 'Complete Series' set, but I couldn't pass the show up when it was going for this cheap. Also of note (that only Capo will probably care about), this is the first HBO drama I've ever bought on DVD, and only the second HBO show in general (the first being Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Also while I was there, I saw That's My Bush!: The Definitive Collection for $20. I didn't even know this was coming out this week, (scratch that, it seems it came out several weeks ago) so I bought it out of pure surprise of seeing it. I probably would have bought it anyway though, since it was one of the funniest shows I can remember from Comedy Central.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I went over to Tower Records and purged the store from their going out of buisness sale. All CDs are 70% now, but of course pickings are slim. I spent about $62 there.

For Me:

Unearth - III: In the Eyes of Fire
Animosity - Empires
Shadows Fall - Fallout From the War
Nightrage - Sweet Vengeance
Glass Casket - Deperate Man's Diary
Disillusion - Back to Times of Splendor
Immortal - At the Heart of Winter
Shape of Despair - Shape of Despair
Shape of Despair - Shades of...
Larry Coryell - Tricycles

For Girlfriend:

Billy Idol - Rebel Yell
Billy Idol - Billy Idol

For Friend:

Poison - Flesh and Blood

That's sort of a joke gift. He works at a cheap recording company and there's a local Poison cover band that frequents there. Just poking some fun at him.

Christmas bump.

Umphrey's McGee - "Local Band Does O.K." and "Safety in Numbers"
Yes - "Fragile" and "The Yes Album (Expanded and Remastered)"
King Crimson - "Red"
Angra - "Angels Cry"
Shaman - "Ritual"
At War With Self - "Torn Between Dimensions"
Ivo Pogorelich - "The Genius of Pogorelich"
Marco Antonio Araujo - "Quando A Sorte Te Solta Um Cisne Na Noite"

A lot of good shit there. The last one is damn obscure (unless you're from Brazil I guess).

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The Decemberists - The Crane Wife

Sufjan Stevens - Greetings From Michigan: The Great Lake State

The Shins - Phantom Limb

Perfect music for winter, if I do say so.
I bought Phantom Limb from iTunes, however, and it doesn't come with the song Nothing at All for some reason. But it was only $2 anyway, and I can never find it in the record stores so oh well.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
