Sorry that last bit of turns was a mess. If there is any confusion with cards, please let me know and I'll clear it up. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
so.....
anybody got any wood for a brotha I have brick and/or sheep to trade. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Alright, I have to attempt to get Skexis back into the game. Let me know what you guys think of this new rule:
After turn 5, the player with the lowest score can wage a rebellion. The rebellion is also affected by the number of soldiers the player has out in play. The outcome of the rebellion is determined by the roll of a dice. Players who wage rebellion sacrifice their roll their turn. Players may only wage rebellion one every 3 turns. Players with equal number of soldiers will be decided by a coin flip. Players with an uneven number of soldiers will be decided by a six-sided die. To illustrate, here is an example: Player 1 with 3 soldiers wages rebellion against Player 2 with 1 soldier. The difference in soldiers is +2 in Player 1's favor. Player 1 will win the rebellion if the die rolls: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 because of the +2 favor. Without the +2 favor Player 1 will win if the die rolls: 1, 2, 3. This is a bit confusing so let me know what you guys think. The reward is also different depending on the who wins. If the player with the lower score wins then they can claim all the other person's resources. If the player with the high score wins, they claim one of the loser's road. I was speaking idiomatically. |
losing a road is pretty brutal, but it's still a cool idea to "liven" things up.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Honestly I have no problem with losing this game, I just figure I should make a token effort. I'm fine with rolling and seeing where lady luck takes me, though.
FELIPE NO |
Then do so. I burn for resources. Give me more. MOar.
How ya doing, buddy? |
No, clearly no more. (that was just a bs roll btw, but I'll end turn) Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Additional Spam: Someone give me an ore for a wheat or sheep. Dammit! There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'll give you ore for wheat.

I'm willing to try out the rebellion idea. However, I don't think losing a road is anywhere near as BRUTAL as losing all of your resources! If anything, I'd bring that down to half the player's resources.

I don't particularly care one way or another as far as implementation. I think it's a nifty thing and we should give it a try. I do want Rasputin to take the trade and finish his turn though!

OK WE TRADE!
Now I make city on my most northern town. Good day! What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Additional Spam: Mmm.. 2 delicious wheat to feed my hordes of lonely sheep. Additional Spam: Development cards are wheat/sheep/iron, right? Anyone want a WOOD(Y) for an (WH)ORE? FELIPE NO Observant Provisions | [adult swim] "Dude, this is gonna.. Man, this is gonna wicked, like, really hurt."

I will take that trade. Give me wood for an iron. But I swear to god if you get road construction and cut off my beautiful road I will hunt you down and hurt you.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Ahahaha, that's beautiful! I hadn't even thought of that!
BUYIN' 2 DEV CARDS Additional Spam: Actually, that's not entirely true. At the very beginning of this game I knew that having road building would be absolutely necessary to win. It took much longer than normal for anyone to even get longest road in the first place. The only way I could possibly get it is by completing a circle of roads~ I gave up on that idea a long time ago and opted to change my strategy to city building. Now, I'm finding myself back where I start. FULL CIRCLE. Jam it back in, in the dark. Observant Provisions | [adult swim] "Dude, this is gonna.. Man, this is gonna wicked, like, really hurt."

No, no bricks, sorry. =(
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Also, who's red? I'm about to rob that motherfucka.
(Hi Rasputin. <3) Additional Spam: Alright, I'll use my ROAD BUILDING and build westward from my 8,10,2 settlement, then another going southwest from that. Essentially cutting off the tip of Radez's penis. I'll also use mah solider and put it on the 8 brick. The one with Radez's city and Skex's settlement. I'll steal from good 'ol Skex, and wait a liiiiitle bit longer to see what I get before ending the turn! I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Oooohoho, yes. YES.
I'll build one more road (WITH MY NEWLY ACQUIRED BRICK) from my 2,3,11 settlement going west, and finally end the turn! Jam it back in, in the dark. Observant Provisions | [adult swim] "Dude, this is gonna.. Man, this is gonna wicked, like, really hurt." |
I didn't even think about the possibility of what you just did. I can't express how much I wish I could hurt you right now. =( First thing I'm doing is playing my soldier and moving the black man onto Plarom's 8 wheat because seriously fuck that dude, and if he has a card left, I'm taking it. If not I'm still putting on his wheat, because seriously fuck that dude. Then I'm rolling. With my newly acquired sheep, I'm building a settlement on 5,10, desert. Then I'm waiting to see what I got from Plarom. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Me neither. Not even.. In my wildest dreams?
