Anyway, I'm starting up the game now and going to enter your FC again. lol

EDIT I have a room open right now. I'm not starting yet so join in if you want to play.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Is it just me, or is unlocking stuff in this game a total chore?

In SSBB, all you had to do was complete Subspace to unlock all but two people, and you could easily unlock characters just by playing matches too.

In Mario Kart, you have to play through each course a total of four times!! One for each class and there's also the time trials. I only unlocked a few things so far and already I'm getting sick of these courses. It's a total bore-fest in my opinion.

Also, I thought I could just stick a SMG save file on an SD card and xfer it to the Wii so I can unlock Roselina, but it doesn't work apparently. It just says ??? on the Wii menu when I check the SD card. Bah!

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

T. Nantoka representing. Sousuke, I just wanna say. I saw you doing those tricks OFF of Rainbow Road. Laughing at you for the rest of my life. Good races though, seriously.

Also laughing at the guy whose name was SandNigger. What the fuck.

Edit: AW SHIT my Mario Kart power level is over 6000. Am I a cool kid now.

First of all the Wii will NOT allow you to copy over save game that you haven't play yet. It will say something like "You have to play this game once in order to copy from SD card to Wii system memory". Second, did you make sure you have the US/North American SMG save file, name it as "data.bin" and in the "RMGE" folder?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yes, I made sure it was data.bin in RMGE. Ah well, I don't have SMG. It just said "cannot copy save data."

Just played some random online matches. Fun. I also met Max Biggs

I have to bring this up...
... I'm not really into rating, ...
...because you just keep winning and gaining points! Of course you don't care!

Last night was an example of this:

After messing around with MK, I came to the following conclusion: I prefer playing SSBB online than MK online, mainly 'cause of the gameplay. It's more fun than just steering a kart/bike around. That's not to say I hate MK though. It's still fun, although getting hit by items right after the other is annoying is heck.

Although MK's online is er, more advanced (dunno how else to describe it) than SSBB, there are some things I wish was included in it, such as the ability to have a second player join in any any time ala SSBB. If I am playing alone and my sister wants to play, I'd have to disconnect from WFC completely just to select 2p in the main menu. What sort of crummy system is that?

I also wish you could make taunts too. That would make races a lot more fun.

P.S. My sister and I thought up one syllable words (well mostly one syllable) to use when hit by items: bombed, shelled, banana'ed, lightning'ed, etc.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I dunno what you guys are talking about... DK makes some fairly hilarious noises, but he pales, PALES in comparison to Waluigi, who remains the funniest-sounding character in the entire Nintendo population. DK sounds like he does in Jungle Beat, which is good since that's probably the best/funniest voice for him.

Also, I'm not having nearly as much trouble with 150cc as I thought I would. I read how it's completely unfair and absurdly challenging... Yeah, it's certainly a challenge, but that's good. It's far from unfair. People bitch about how easy the MK games are and they finally get a challenging entry in the series and then they bitch about how it's too challenging. O Internet U.

How ya doing, buddy?

150cc is a pain in the ass when you're trying to get a two or three star ranking but otherwise I think it's not too bad if you're just going for gold. Definitely not a cakewalk but not impossible. The only thing I hate is how the CPU just loves to totally fuck me over by sending one blue shell, two red shells in a row, one lightning bolt, and another blue shell if I manage to get back in first place all in the course of one or two laps. It's bad enough that after I get hit, everyone decides to just ram into me since I have a bike, so it's like getting hit with more items. Just aggravating, but I got my two stars so now I get to deal with Mirror.

So I tried online a bit earlier with my cousins, but we tried only two races and both races ended within 5 seconds and I was declared the winner. I'm assuming I was disconnected?

As for my opinions on Mario Kart: I find it pretty fun, but only with more people. I like the new tracks, but I think 12 karts is a bit too chaotic. What it really means for the guys up front is that A) Shitloads of people are bunched up right behind you (unless you are godly) and can overtake you easily with a single red shell or B) even if you are godly, there are more people who could screw you over, not to mention more screw-over items that affect more than one person (Lightning, Powblocks, Squids, and in this game, Bullet Bill, which is deadly considering how close together everybody is, and finally, of course, the Blue Shell.) I've seen myself get hit 5 times consecutively by so many items, usually starting with a random banana or fake box, followed up by a blue shell, then some red shells, and then a bullet bill for the icing on the cake.

Also, for more people, I'm not sure if it's just me or if anybody else noticed, but 3 - 4 players is choppy as hell, even locally. It's definitely not running at full speed with that many people. I don't know, overall, it feels like an unfinished product that they rushed out the door to me. I think it probably would have been better to work on this a bit more, personally.

But otherwise, solid game. I had fun playing it. I generally use either the GCN controller or the Wiimote+Nunchuck combination. They both work very well for me. As for Bikes vs. Karts, I generally like to go Bikes because I like the better handling on them. My character is usually Baby Peach, reason being that I like to piss everybody else in the room off with her voice. Fun times. I also use some of my random Miis occasionally. Seeing Miles Edgeworth in the middle of a race is funny.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

The word I believe you are looking for is Stable. There is much less Lag on MK's servers then SSBB, perhaps because while SSBB is a second-party title, MK is a very definite FIRST party title, so they'll have the servers ready ahead of time for the rush of users, at least more so then Sakurai's team.

That would be nice, but unless they can do some sort of patch or update, I doubt it will happen.

Oh there's so much I wanted to say about this but I don't want to end up like the post in SSBB. So I'll just say...:
SSBB online =/= MKWii online
is all I have to say... er or show.

Also, I said this before but I'll say it again, my Friend List is full and only 5 people are still showing up as question mark. I need to make room for other people. So if I'm on your list and you want me to add you please PM or IM me via AIM.

Erm no, that wasn't what I meant. I meant that MK has more online...stuff, like rankings, the ability to send a message to friends if they're already in a race, etc. As for the lag, I rarely get any lag in SSBB. I could be just lucky, but really, the only time I actually get noticeable lag is whenever I play with Icy. Otherwise all my matches with GFFers have been very good. Heck, even playing against Kairyu's excellent, and he's in Hawaii!!

XD about the blue shell. That thing's so annoying.

The Blooper item doesn't bother me at all. I can always still see what's ahead of me despite the ink.

But as a furry, she's used to the jizz being kept behind a comforting wall of felt and faux-fur. So in that regard, you're not entirely correct.

I'm sorry I didn't add anyone back yet. My sister has the game and since I can't play anyway, I didn't bother with adding new codes yet. I think I'll take the game back home this Saturday and add whoever I didn't add yet, possibly doing some matches (Kairyu, I'm looking at you).

I have yet another new Wii (you know how the saying goes.. SIXTH TIME'S THE FUCKING CHARM), so I have a new fiend code. I've already added everyone on the Wiki, so if you could delete my old number from your list and add this one;

3909-8459-4297

That's be awesome! Oh, and could someone please change it on the Wiki? Arsed if I can remember my account details for that. Cheers~

P.S: Nintendo being the retards they are, you can't even transfer your MK save data to an SD card. BACK TO BEATING THOSE HORRIFIC 150CC CUPS AGAIN!
